Hi, I'm Dawna! I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, currently calling Seattle my home. I enjoy traveling, Beyonce, the great outdoors, music, the sun, shooting film, and obviously photographing people & the places I go. I started pursuing photography when I was 14 after a family trip to Alaska! I've been doing weddings for over ten years now, my first wedding also being in Alaska! :)

I've been pursing photography since I was 14 years old, and haven't wanted to do anything else! I went to Seattle Central Creative Academy and have an AAS in Commercial Photography! With either lead or second shooting I have photographed at least 200+ weddings

    Amazing experience!

    Dawna is a gem. When I started looking for a photographer for my wedding I knew my number one priority was to have bright, fun photos that capture the spirit of the wedding. Absolutely no offense to other wedding photographers in Washington state, but I noticed that a lot of them take a moodier and darker approach to the photos and that just isn't what I wanted for my wedding photos. Dawna DELIVERED! Her photos are incredible. The happiness and joy of the day were captured so perfectly. She also was very communicative and flexible with us. We live out of state and were unable to do an engagement shoot around when we booked her, so we ended up doing the engagement shoot a couple days before the wedding. It was great to be able to practice with her and get more comfortable in front of the camera.

    Amazing work, made our wedding memorable

    Dawna did such an amazing job capturing our special day. Looking back on the pictures she took gave us reminders of special, intimate moments I might have forgotten without them. Dawna met with us several times to ensure our needs were met, and was flexible and understanding while planning during a pandemic. Dawna's work is beautiful, and we cherish each photograph she took. We loved having her be such a big part of our special day.

    Very professional and delightful to work with.

    We had a very intimate wedding at a remote location and Dawna did an incredible job capturing our marriage day. She was professional and timely at communicating before the event and making sure our expectations were met and her's were known about what she could provide. She was so easy to work with and helped us to relax and have fun while capturing the day. We would highly recommend Dawna to anyone. Especially in a smaller setting she fit in with our family and we were able to enjoy every moment. Our photos look incredible and capture the feelings over the whole day. Thank you Dawna for making this a memory that we can share <3

    August 2020 Wedding

    We got to work with Dawna all the way from engagement photos to wedding ceremony pictures and even videography. She offers amazing photography packages and delivers high quality work on time. It was super easy to work with her and communication was always on point. Nadine and I are really happy we chose to go with Dawna, and we are looking forward to her shooting our reception in 2021. Highly recommend working with her!

I do! My Platinum packages include 5 hours second shooter coverage, which really ensures that your wedding day is covered! A second shooter can be added to all other packages as well!
Depending on the package that you book it can range quite a bit, but I tend to deliver 75-100 images per hour for wedding packages :)
After your initial inquiry I'll send my pricing guide and we can go over your wedding details! Next we can either meet up for coffee or chat on the phone and we can talk about all the plans and ideas you have for your special day and we can go over my contract together! Once you’ve signed the contract and paid the 30% retainer, you are officially booked!
They will be on an online gallery for you, where you can view, download, and easily share your images! I also provide them on a flash drive for you to keep!
Typically, couples book me about 8-12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame! I've had couples reach out a month in advance and I was available so don't hesitate to ask! :)
