I’m Emily, and I’m a photographer who loves the outdoors, bright colors, and creating photos that capture your authentic self. My style is colorful, documentary, and photojournalistic. I’ll capture the standard portraits for your extended family to put on their fridge, of course, but I also try to create photos that show what it really felt like to be there – the bright smiles, the tears, the dancing.

I take photos that are authentic to you and your experience. I'm an expert at making all kinds of people feel comfortable in front of the camera. Being a queer and plus-sized woman myself, I know how daunting it can be, but I'll make sure you feel beautiful on your big day. I shoot with digital and film cameras, and can even develop black and white prints by hand in a darkroom. I'm an avid hiker with a lot of knowledge about the most scenic locations for elopements and engagement sessions around the PNW.

    We are DJ company based in the Seattle area and we worked with Emily at The Lodge at St Edwards Park last May. As the DJ, we have the ability to interact with all the vendors and see how the flow of the evening is going. It's so appreciated when vendors make life easier for others, and Emily does just that! Emily has clearly mastered the craft of photography and also working with other vendors. The end result is that the couple has the best night ever, and then their photos are a direct reflection of that. Can't wait to work with Emily again!
