“DJ Steven and Stumptown were excellent! DJ Steven, while being a Tier 2 DJ, was more like a Tier 10! We really wanted a fun and populated dancefloor at our wedding and DJ Steven delivered! He was great at reading the crowd and playing songs that got everyone on their feet. He also surprised us by bringing a bubble gun, lights, and a 360 cam. What was most spectacular was that DJ Steven also created a special mix for our first dance so that we could do a fun choreographed dance to it. Our guests absolutely loved it, and we couldn’t be more thankful to Steven for making it happen. He helped us select songs for all phases of the wedding and was able to really set the mood throughout the entire event. We received numerous compliments from guests about how the wedding was so upbeat and had an awesome party atmosphere; DJ Steven was a large part of that! Stumptown and DJ Steven were very organized and all wedding details were easy to communicate via their portal. We asked a lot from them, and they definitely delivered an amazing event. “NW Mobile DJ Service was exactly what we wanted, and they did a great job. Our venue required three different speaker set-ups for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and our DJ, Richard, was very adaptable in doing so. I created playlists for each section of the night, and Richard was able to feel the vibe of the group and play them to what he thought the group wanted. Richard was respectful, kind, accountable, and was able to play my very specific walking-down-the-aisle song. Would recommend!”

“The Throwbacks really made our wedding a party! We hired the Throwbacks for an August wedding and we’re so glad we did. They got both of our families out on the dancefloor. My grandmother hasn’t been on a dancefloor in 30 years and because of the Throwbacks, I was able to dance with her. The band is very professional and very clear when communicating. They were also very flexible and were able to setup outdoors with limited venue resources. They played a more relaxed set for our cocktail hour and a groovier set for the main dancefloor after dinner. We’re so glad we hired them and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a great wedding band. They rock!!”
