Featuring some of the Pacific Northwest's best talent, this six piece band brings the party every time with fun personalities and great musicianship. This incredible band has been making a name for themselves with a fresh take on some of today and yesterdays most popular top 40 hits. BGD plays a wide variety of music and genres from modern artists such as Bruno Mars, Drake, Dua Lipa and Portugal, The Man to popular classic artists like Prince, Michael Jackson and Pat Benatar as well as a whole lot more! BGD puts on an exciting high caliber performance that will have you and your guests impressed and dancing the night away!

What sets BGD apart from other bands is our ability to play a wide range of music and styles that will please an audience of all ages. We are very good at reading the crowd and making sure everyone has a fantastic time!

Description

This your no worries, everything is covered package! If you are within 1.5 hours of Portland, Oregon this is the package for you! We provide and run a small ceremony PA with your choice of prerecorded music. We provide prerecorded background music for dinner service, and we also provide prerecorded music for your cocktail hour. We play up to three 50 min sets of live dance music for the reception and MC the entire event! Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions you may have.

    So much fun!

    Easy to work with, reliable, and brought tons of energy to our party. They have a great set list that got everyone dancing, and were really engaged with the audience. They also provided fantastic MC services during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner. I want to get married again just to hire them!

    Incredible!! So worth it to have live music.

    I can’t even count the number of guests who complimented the band! They were brilliant in choosing the right songs for the crowd, and it was so much fun to have live music. Definitely work it!!

    Awesome Wedding Band!

    Eric has great communication prior to any wedding or event, which is so appreciated by wedding planners and couples. On the day of the wedding, he is willing to do what is takes to me sure everything is smooth when it comes to sound and that the couple is having the best day ever. Their band throws down the best wedding tunes and keeps the party going! Eric is also very professional as the MC on the microphone which is also extremely helpful. Highly recommend Bridgetown Get Down for any wedding or event!

    Super Pro Band!!

    I'm a Portland artist manager, booking agent and show producer who handles all sorts of gigs, big and small, private and public. We strive to please and are always willing to learn a song for a special dance or just a party favorite for the reception as long as we feel we can perform i to our high expectations.
If we know it we will play it!
We regularly provide either live music or recorded music for cocktail hours, dinner service or both. For ceremonies we usually provide prerecorded music of your choice. That enables our clients to choose any songs they desire for pre ceremony, processional, recessional or any other special moments. It also enables us to start songs at any chosen point and fade in and out for a flawless ceremony.
Our style would consist mostly of top 40, pop, soul, r&b and rock. We can always sprinkle in some country if requested though! We also regularly play cocktail sets with a mix of jazz and easy listening. We strive to play a wide variety of popular songs to keep people of all ages excited and dancing the night away!
We work closely with our clients and their coordinator to determine what will work best for each specific event.
We can provide our own stage lighting if requested.
Our travel fee varies based on location. In most cases it is simply the cost of our lodging for the evening. We strive to find the most cost efficient means of travel and logging wherever we are performing.
We are not fully insured. In most cases it is the responsibility of the client or the venue to provide the required insurance necessary for the event they are holding.
We require a minimum of two 20 amp outlets on two separate circuit breakers for receptions. Preferably non gfi. Most venues are easily capable of providing this.
