Snapshot is an electrifying dance cover band presenting faithful, high-energy pop and rock anthems ranging from today’s hits to 70’s classics. Featuring an emphasis on a classic yet fresh setlist, Snapshot features powerhouse female vocals and a steady lineup of regular players from various prominent PNW event bands such as Blue Wave Band, Taken By The Sky, and Life During Wartime. Snapshot brings an experienced, yet youthful energy to every stage they take.

We are all about elevating special events to be hand-crafted, truly unforgettable moments. In addition to live band entertainment, our ensemble aims to provide complete and seamless "turn-key" solutions for your day, including cocktail hour music (live or recorded), dinner hour music (live or recorded), stage/dance floor lighting, professional sound system(s), wireless microphones (handheld and lapel), as well as MC services. We'll work with you to make your wedding or corporate event's entertainment exactly what you need!

Description

Go for the gold standard and give your wedding guests two hours of back-to-back jams guaranteed to keep the dance floor moving. We’ll also include two song requests outside of our normal setlist to be played at the reception - a great option for first dances!

You can count on us to bring the good times to your reception! You'll get one extended 90-minute set of the very best of our repertoire. Like with all of our wedding packages, you'll get a 6-7 piece band and our professional PA system to get the party started.

Snapshot are a very professional, polished, and reliable event band. I think they'd be great for any type of event like weddings, NYE parties, private parties, or corporate events. They have a fantastic list of songs they play from and I found myself looking forward to hearing what was coming next in their set. Just an awesome all around experience working with Snapshot.

Snapshot played a three hour set at my wedding. They brought such an amazing level of professionalism and fun to the experience. My guests could not stop dancing! They play a lot of gigs out so I would definitely go and see them. It’s super fun! I would definitely go and check them out, but you can take my word for it. If you hire snapshot, they will bring their best.

Snapshot band really brought the party! Their blend of songs, and accuracy to the originals really kept the energy going all night. Apart from that, they are all really wonderful people and incredibly easy to work with. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Yes! Included in our Gold and Platinum packages is the opportunity to request two songs not usually on our repertoire that we will learn and perform just for your particular wedding :)

We offer pre-recorded or live background music (acoustic guitar or piano) for your cocktail hour and/or dinner hour, just let us know what you need! Although we don't provide live music for ceremonies at this time, we do offer a second sound system with the ability to playback recorded music and facilitate microphones so you can hear every word of your ceremony as one our add-ons.

We typically like to arrive well in advance of your ceremony to coordinate with you or your wedding planner and make sure things run smoothly and according to schedule. It's typical that we will arrive 3-4 hours before the ceremony begins but can be flexible to fit what works best for your day.

There is no travel fee if your event is within 50 miles of the Portland, OR metro area. Outside of this range, an "out of area fee" and/or potential lodging accommodations will be discussed to ensure we can be all hands on deck for your big day.

We pride ourselves on covering a wide range of music, but we focus on songs that we know will get people dancing and having a great time. Any given event you're likely to hear us cover Dua Lipa, Prince, Michael Jackson, The Cars, Shakira, and Talking Heads in the same set. Fun, instantly recognizable, and "not too-played out" is our forte!

Our standard is semi-formal or smart casual, but we are more than willing to dress up or down to fit the vibe of your event.

We feature a relatively large ensemble of 7-piece for a pop band, but this is intentional. We don't like to cut corners on bringing you the most authentic and faithful recreations of your favorite songs, and that takes a bigger band. We want you saying: "wow that sounds just like the original artist!" Another part of how we make this possible is by each member of the band bringing many years of experience playing with other prominent cover and tribute bands in the area, being "musical chameleons" and developing a remarkable attention to detail. We think you deserve that effort from a band!
