That said, the communication from the company itself could definitely be improved. Most everything was handled by email, and it often took several days to get a response. Planning a wedding from California and coordinating travel to Oregon, I had a trial that was rescheduled and had to adjust my travel plans—which was a bit stressful with limited communication. I often felt like I was the one following up repeatedly just to get basic confirmations. In the end, I looked and felt great, thanks to Lana and Sira. “My experience with Faith was absolutely amazing. Both my and my husband's hair were perfect! It somehow lasted through torrential rain, hail, wind, and us running around the woods with our videographer and still looked perfect at the end of the day. My hair turned out better than I could have ever imagined. Faith was also extremely gentle while doing my hair. She never pulled my hair and was extremely careful to not scrape me with the hair pins. I usually have a pretty sensitive scalp and my updo was completely painless both while she was styling my hair and all throughout the day. I highly recommend her! Her Instagram is @beautythrough_faith. My hair was absolutely a 5 out of 5 experience. However organization of the owner added some stress to our wedding weekend and to the day following our wedding when we just wanted to enjoy being newly married. Two days before our wedding, Jess reached out saying our stylist would arrive at 12:30, when our contract said 11:00. Thankfully, Faith was able to make it work and was able to arrive at the original time. In addition, I had set up autopay for the second half of the payment to go through the day of the wedding. On my wedding day I even checked the payment link that had been sent to us to pay the deposit and saw that the autopay for the remaining balance was all set to go through. There was not a separate link sent to pay that day or an option to pay the remaining balance immediately. The day after our wedding I get an email saying our payment is overdue. I'm not sure why the original link gave an option to set up autopay when it was not actually an option. In the scheme of things, it is not that big of a deal and my hair turned out perfectly. Hopefully this was just a tech hiccup and will be sorted for future brides!”

On the day of, she was early and had taken care of the potential scheduling conflicts I ran into with my photographer needing to arrive later but hair and makeup needed to be done earlier. “Catelyn does incredible work! I went in for my make-up trial on my birthday, and later that I evening I went to dinner with my maid of honor. I didn't have the budget to pay for my bridesmaids' hair and make-up, so if they wanted they could pay for their own h & mu. Originally my MOH was going to do her own make-up, but after meeting up with me that evening, several hours after my appointment, she decided to have her make-up done, too. She loved how my skin was flawless without looking cakey and that my eye make-up hadn't smudged or budged. The ceremony ended up being wildly windy. I embraced the wind as my veil looked beautiful. Eve after the windy ceremony and dancing all night, my hair stayed put and looked beautiful even at 1:30am. Catelyn has a relaxed demeanor, which calmed me on a day in which there are many strong personalities buzzing around. I highly recommend hiring Catelyn for both hair and make-up.
