Based in Oregon, Hair and Makeup Services for the unconventional love stories is the Black Fern Beauty Co motto. After 13 years on the east coast as a traditional wedding hair and makeup brand, I relocated to the Pacific Northwest to bring my craft to the elopement space, celebrating couples doing things differently. My philosophy is to always bring out the best of your natural beauty and support and hold space for your intimate day as it unfolds. I offer on-location luxury hair and makeup services for eloping couples in the Pacific North West and beyond.

With over a decade of experience in the wedding hair and makeup industry, I now travel to remote and unconventional locations to prepare my couples for their intimate and unconventional love story. I'm thrilled to offer a luxury service, no matter how remote or distant or small your love story might be. I specialize in adventure elopement, and micro-destination weddings. I offer roaming concierge services to ensure you feel beautiful and cared for all along the way.

    Redwood Elopement

    Meaghan was absolutely wonderful and such a joy to have with us on our elopement day! From the beginning, she really listened to what I wanted for my hair and makeup and made me feel so comfortable. I don’t typically love wearing a lot of makeup, so I especially appreciated how she made me feel like an elevated version of myself rather than someone who looked completely different. She also put together a schedule that worked perfectly with our photographers, which made the morning feel so easy and stress-free. My hair and makeup stayed beautiful through hours of hiking, exploring, and adventuring, and I’m so grateful she was part of our day. She understood exactly what I was going for and made me feel beautiful while still feeling completely like myself. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
