We hired Robyn as our wedding florist, and the florals were absolutely stunning, truly elevating the entire day. Recommended by our venue, she knew the space so well. In the planning process, she talked through our vision and how we might achieve it with seasonal flowers (so helpful since we live in California and are not as familiar with OR spring blooms). She shared photos of her past work to help us really picture it. Robyn also used a simple online platform that helped streamline any changes we made to the order, which we continued to do until the wedding day :) Appreciate the flexibility! Thank you, Robyn, for your artistry and professionalism!

Flowers by Alana
Rating: 5.0 (8 reviews)
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Tigard, OR

Flowers by Alana is a boutique wedding and events floral studio servicing Portland the the Pacific Northwest. With over two decades of floral industry experience, Alana incorporates her vast design and industry expertise and creative talent with her client's vision to bring their dream wedding to reality. Flowers by Alana will design and deliver absolutely stunning wedding flowers to set the mood, style, and tone of the celebration and have the guests saying, "ooohh the flowers are so gorgeous!"

Alana was such a dream to work with! She was so kind and encouraging from the very first call! It gave me so much peace during the planning process to know I had such a knowledgable florist who understood my vision and wanted to make all our dreams come true. I don't know a lot about flowers but Alana was so great at explaining things and listing out the exact flowers she intended to use that I could see it all coming together perfectly. She was so flexible with us as we removed and added different pieces throughout planning and was always putting our needs at the forefront. The moment she handed me my bouquet on the day of our wedding, that will always be a core moment. It truly completed the look and made me feel like a bride! Walking through the venue together was so surreal, it was our garden inspiration come to life. All of the colors were so soft and matched the aesthetic we wanted perfectly! And truly all of the flowers she used were stunning, we got so many compliments on all of the florals pieces people were thrilled they could take the centerpieces home. Not only did she make the most beautiful floral pieces for our big day but she was so thoughtful and kind the entire day. She put everything in the shade and kept things inside until necessary to prevent the surprise heat from wilting anything. She gave the bridesmaids and I tips on how to hold our bouquets for the best angles and when to wet/dry them. Alana went above and beyond to make sure the day ran smoothly for us even after she left the venue. Alana was a dream to work with and we are forever grateful that she was a part of our big day!

Jessi and Tall Drink of Water Floral Design was the best florist we could have ever hoped for. She provided clear pricing options from the beginning, always replied to inquiries quickly, and helped with many suggestions and ideas for us to spice it up. Additionally, our parents wanted to create some centerpieces for the rehearsal dinner and Jessi helped come up with the design and sold our parents some greens for it. Ronna from Urban Elements was the creative energy I needed as an eager bride! Not only was Ronna incredibly easy to work with, she was fun, upbeat, reliable AND realistic. I learned so many helpful tips that I never would have thought about had she not brought them to my attention. Things like what’s in season and the durability of a flower when sitting long hours in the heat are a couple examples of her fine attention to detail. Her expertise in floral and unique esthetic shined on so many levels. The amount of compliments I got that night on my cascade bouquet and center pieces made my heart happy, especially knowing she helped all my visions come to life. Ronna did not miss a beat the day of our wedding, which was a gift in itself to have one less thing to worry about on such an important day. I would recommend her in a heart beat!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (93 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Tigard, OR

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband and I were nervous about doing our own flowers, but Flower Moxie made the whole process feel manageable. The team was easy to talk to and really listened to what we wanted, never making us feel rushed or judged for our DIY approach. They broke down everything into simple steps and provided gorgeous blooms that looked like they came from a high-end florist, but at a price that actually fit our budget. On the day of the wedding, our arrangements turned out beautiful and our guests kept asking who our florist was. We were so proud that we'd created them ourselves with Flower Moxie's guidance. If you're thinking about doing your own flowers, I'd definitely recommend giving them a shot.

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

With Flourish
Rating: 5.0 (4 reviews)
  • Starts at $1,000
  • Serves Tigard, OR

Kelsey’s unique take on floral design is inspired from the beauty of each stem with a touch of whimsical flair. Bringing a couples vision to life is the most rewarding part of her job. She goes by the belief that less is often more and a few touches can make a wedding memorable.

With Flourish was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, Kelsey’s communication was prompt, professional, and thorough, which put us at ease throughout the entire planning process. I didn’t have a fully formed vision at the start. I just knew I wanted beautiful flowers and had a general color palette in mind. Kelsey helped us shape that into something I truly fell in love with by asking thoughtful questions and offering creative suggestions based on my responses. There were several elements I happily entrusted to her artistic judgment, and she exceeded every expectation. At the same time, I have complete confidence that if I had come in with a highly specific vision, she would have executed it flawlessly. Kelsey is an incredibly talented florist. The bouquets, table arrangements, and ceremony décor were stunning. Everything reflected what we discussed, yet the final result was even more beautiful and impactful than we imagined. We were genuinely blown away by both the quality of her work and the value she delivered. We cannot recommend With Flourish highly enough for any couple looking for an exceptional wedding florist.

Zombie Flowers

After the global zombie apocalypse, in the early winter of '24, I heeded the call, picked up my shovel and shotgun and headed out to the fields. Protecting this wide world from the pestilence that is the zombie flower is no small feat, but I've learned to survive. I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. In these post-apocalyptic times, the zombie flowers make for excellent mantle trophies, but some have said they make awesome wedding bouquets. Whatever your cup of tea, these zombie flowers are one of a kind prepared just for you.
