No matter who you are, how you celebrate, or what your love looks like, you will get high-end art when I'm your wedding photographer. I don’t come with a checklist of what’s supposed to happen. I come ready to honor you and all the layers of what brought you to this moment. As a kid from a divorced home, traditions like “getting ready with both parents” or “walking down the aisle with dad” — those were never things I related to. Your wedding day is one day but your photos last forever. They become the proof of how it all felt, long after the last song fades, the cake is gone, and the celebrations posts fade away.

    I don’t even know how to start, McKenzie is just the best. She took our wedding photos and we have done two other sessions with her, and I genuinely doubt I will ever hire another photographer. Kenzie is so easy to work with from start to finish. As far as planning goes, she saved me so much time and headache. I had a strong vision before hiring Kenzie, but she took that and made it better. We hired all vendors that she recommended, and I truly think that’s why everything went so well. She also helped coordinate so many of the logistics that I wouldn’t have even thought of. Our photos are amazing. Every single shot. We’ve done stuff in the city, in nature, in the rain, in the dark, you name it, and every single photo is beautiful, sharp, and has this mysterious edge to it that I’m obsessed with. Kenzie also sends highlights the next day which is so above and beyond and also scratches the itch of wondering how your pictures are going to look. I seriously treasure these pictures and the hardest part is narrowing down my favorites to print or share. The experience Kenzie provides is also so much fun. We crack up the entire time and it really just feels like hanging out, there’s no pressure and nothing ever feels weird or stiff or awkward. She has such an amazing eye and is able to capture so much nuance with every picture that you only feel like you’re doing a few “poses”, but end up with so much variety and uniqueness in the gallery. She seriously kills it every time, and she makes us feel so comfortable to be ourselves. One thing I loved about our wedding vs. our more casual shoots is how much I DIDN’T think about being photographed on our wedding day. I am someone who is very good at being silly and extroverted in un-serious situations, but I was honestly worried about how I would feel having someone there in such an intimate setting. I literally wasn’t worried about Kenzie the entire day, and if anything her presence just calmed my anxieties. At the end of the night I was shocked at how much it felt like a wedding instead of a photoshoot, and I still walked away with, I think, better and more real photos than if I had been perfectly posed for hours on end. TLDR: Just hire McKenzie. She’ll help you plan with the right team of vendors, keep you grounded, and deliver photos that look like how memories feel. 10000/10

    We had a great experience with McKenzie as our wedding photographer. She has an amazing ability to tell a story through her photography. She has amazing creative expression through her photos and is so helpful at putting you at ease if being in front of the camera doesn't feel very natural to you. McKenzie is also grounding. She will truly help you stay as grounded as possible on your day given all the chaos that can come on any wedding day. She was so respectful of the privacy we wanted around our day and that has always been so appreciated. McKenzie is truly a gem.

    McKenzie was amazing. Our photos turned out beautifully, and the experience was so comfortable. I’m awkward and have severe anxiety yet being photographed by McKenzie felt like being photographed by my best friend of 20 years. She is kind, compassionate, and accommodating. I was drawn to her alternative style and her character.

    Kenzie has taken photos for me & my family through so many exciting moments. From engagement, to elopement, an adventure session in Michigan, our Christmas card, to our pregnancy announcement & more recently to some really special photos of our twin boys. EVERY SINGLE TIME I am more obsessed than I was with our last session. The photos she has captured for me and my family are priceless, and when I say I looks at alllllllll of my galleries on a VERY regular basis.. LOL I mean it!! I can’t get enough and I always find hidden gems in the mix or a new favorite picture! These photos truly mean the world to me & I’m so grateful for Kenzie and her absolute unmatched talent.
