We’re an original band at heart with big dreams, but we’re also just passionate about playing music together in general. We started doing a few cover shows for fun and really enjoyed ourselves and making people dance & have a great time. After learning dozens of songs we curated, we decided to start playing as a cover/wedding band. We have a lot of heart and always try to bring the best possible energy to each performance we do. We mostly do billboard hits covers in various styles, decades and genres. We try and stay true to the sound and feel of the original recording but also try to modernize it and give it our own subtle unique spin.

I’m Anthony Gelo of GTP DJ Entertainment, a boutique DJ and entertainment company. I will personally walk you through the exciting process of selecting the music for your wedding. My motto is “when the music matters.” The most important thing to me is that the music fits your vibe. By taking into account your personal musical tastes and your guest demographics, we’ll curate the playlists and genres to fit the kind of party you want to have. With 9+ years of experience in the music industry, I started as a classically trained pianist and composer before expanding my career into DJing, electronic music production, and beat-making. I DJ at venues across NYC, including EVOL, VShow, Nighthorse and Gossip8, playing techno, house, and hip-hop. I also customize music for private events like weddings, birthdays, and corporate openings. Holding a Bachelor’s from NYU and dual Master’s from USC and Berklee College of Music, I blend performance expertise with a deep understanding of music, creating unique experiences for diverse audiences.

Since 2009, the musical collective that is High and Mighty Brass Band has been making noise worldwide with their original music and a fresh take on classic covers. They're also very active in the private event space, booking major events for Google, Squarespace, NPR, NYSE, Equinox, Slack, Diagio & Meta. You can see them live at their 10+ year weekly residency at Apotheke in Chinatown, NYC. They've toured in The UK, Spain, Mexico, The Netherlands, Canada and across the US and shared a stage and toured with Galactic, Lake Street Dive, Dr John, Trombone Shorty among many others. Louis Josephson, a Juilliard graduate, is a versatile musician known for his exceptional talent.
