“The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

We used Bright Set for our wedding at Mountain View Grand in May 2026 and hired them for our DJ, photo booth, ceremony and reception audio, and piano music. From the very beginning, Cassandra was incredible to work with. We spent over a year planning together, and she was organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and always willing to hop on a call, answer questions, or help think through ideas. One thing that really stood out was how invested Cassandra was in making sure everything ran smoothly. She wasn't just someone behind the scenes coordinating logistics — she was actually onsite for our wedding day and felt like part of our team. Unfortunately, we experienced an unexpected fire alarm interruption immediately following our first dance that temporarily paused our reception and forced guests outside. Cassandra, alongside our day-of coordinator, immediately jumped into problem-solving mode. When we were finally able to return to the ballroom, she creatively had us reintroduced to "Fire Burning" by Sean Kingston, which turned a stressful situation into a funny and memorable moment that had everyone laughing. We were so grateful for her ability to stay calm, think quickly, and help keep the energy positive. DJ Dennis was fantastic and kept the dance floor packed all night. He did an amazing job reading the room and creating a fun atmosphere for guests of all ages. The photo booth was a huge hit as well. Guests loved the glow booth and the customized photo overlay, and we ended up with so many great keepsakes from the night. Entertainment-wise, everything was seamless. I had mentioned to him that my dream was to have a disco ball at the wedding, but having the reception in a tent made that a little tricky. However, unlike some other DJ’s I met with – Alex was hyped for the disco ball idea and immediately started thinking of creative ways we could make it work! Flash forward to the wedding day – the disco ball was PERFECT! The systems this team uses to plan the wedding day is really easy to use and we appreciated the option to be able to recommend a few songs, but also have a do-not-play list as well. We had let Alex know the varying ages of our reception guests and he made sure to create a playlist that hit the older and younger generation, so the dancefloor was always bumping! I’d recommend Alex as a DJ for anyone in the Rhode Island area, but definitely recommend the disco ball set up with him!”

“Working with Scott and his band was the best decision we made on our wedding day. We had a very specific vision where we would have a jazz quartet during the cocktail hour and have the pianist and bassist play classical music during the cocktail hour. While this was an atypical setup (usually Cello and Piano), Scott's band was up to the challenge and they absolutely nailed it! I even got to get up and sing a Sinatra standard, and play a tune on trumpet with the cocktail band to my now wife! What great energy the group had, they welcomed me in with open arms and smiles, and we really couldn't have asked for a more perfect day!”
