We worked with The Hook Club on an ambitious two-day wedding, which included them doing live sound for our Friday welcome party, live sound for the music at our ceremony, some deep cut requests, and our desire to not just have "another wedding band." What we got was an incredibly talented, creative, and kind group of people who were ready to make whatever we wanted happen, ready to add ideas and layers, and who then completely blew away our expectations. We're in that era of our lives where we've been to about 100 weddings in the last 10 years, and we can honestly say that no band has even come close to The Hook Club. We had an initial consultation with him to align on what we're generally looking for, completed a "worksheet" with all the music and MCing details and any specific songs/playlists we wanted played, and then a final meeting to review the day from top to bottom. Marcus was communicative and easy to reach with any questions during this time. On the day of the wedding, he came several hours ahead of time to set up and prepare. During the wedding, Marcus played all the music from guest arrival to reception exactly how we envisioned, and MC'd all of the entrances, first dances, guest photos, etc. exactly on time and without too much fluff, which is what we wanted. Later, he played a great set of 2010s-2020s EDM and hype guest favorites that got the dance floor lit, and with great mixing and transitions too. Highly recommend Marcus if you're looking for a wedding DJ who's very skilled/experienced and just really knows music (not your average wedding DJ)!”

He went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for our day. We cannot thank or recommend Miggy enough! The ceremony was perfect, we did not notice him nor was he intrusive in any way. It was perfectly set up and everything went without a hitch. For our reception Miggy was perfect, he was the best MC we could have asked for. Our entrance was timed perfectly and our dances went great. He was attentive to everything happening and always accommodated us. The cold sparks added so much to our day! Once again, Miggy went above and beyond in ways we cannot thank him enough! You would not have known our wedding was dry because Miggy kept the hits coming and didn't stop the entire night. It felt like the soundtrack of us, and everyone could feel that. The Photo Booth added such a fun touch to the evening and was definitely a huge hit with all the funny props! It also left us with a full digital album of all of our guests having the time of their lives and was immediately available for us to look at (which came in handy while we waited for our wedding photos to come back). Everyone wont stop talking about how fun/perfect our wedding was and these guys were definitely the reason. Adam D, our main contact, was always quick to respond and always available when it came to answering our questions. Our DJ, George, was incredible, not only keeping the energy high all night but also stepping in to help coordinate the evening.
