Hi! I'm Dennis! My Wife (Rachel) and I proudly own & operate Live Events DJs & Photo Booths! I am a professional, award winning DJ & MC (Master of Ceremonies) as well as an Ordained Minister. Having grown up in "The Cashew Chicken Capital Of The World" I ADORE Chinese food! I have been a DJ since 1999 and have entertained at thousands of events of all types! Live Events DJ's have been awarded "Best Of Weddings '16, '17, '18, '19, '20 & '21"; Couples' Choice '16, '17, '18, '19 & '20 and "Missouri's Best '18!
We have mastered the art of packing most any dance floor! We cater to everyone! It doesn't matter if Grandma and Grandpa want to dance to The Twist, or the younger crowd wants to dance to The Wobble! Since all events are unique, we will tailor the music to fit your specific event! Be careful when choosing a DJ! Your event is VERY important! Be sure to hire a professional DJ that will strive to make your event fun and memorable for your guests! All too often we hear: "my cousin is going to DJ our wedding from his iPhone". Please make sure you hire a DJ who can professionally execute every detail of your event to perfection!

Fabulous Host!
Gretchen did such a fantastic job hosting our event! The music was spot on for our audience group! The setup was absolutely amazing! Our attendees had an incredible time and raved about the DJ and auxiliary activities provided by the vendor! We had such a fabulous time and are so grateful for Gretchen's time and efforts she put into making sure our event was perfect!

Lily the DJ
Lily (like the flower) the DJ was AMAZING. You can tell she loves music, entertaining, and keeping the party alive! She did a phenomenal job of curating the music for our wedding by judging the room and understanding the energy of the guests. She was such a fun, high energy presence and danced the night away behind her DJ equipment. I really can’t recommend Lily enough. I even got compliments from my guests on her! She was a highlight of my wedding day! Overall, my experience with everyone at Live Events was great - from the initial intro call, booking, and everything leading up to the wedding day. The team was super helpful, responsive, and available for any and all my questions along the way. Highly recommend!

Best DJ Ever!
We used Live Events for a DJ, photo booth and yard games. Five stars just isn't enough for the service we received. Gretchen was an excellent DJ, engaging effectively with the audience and maintaining a high level of professionalism throughout. The yard games and photo booth brought lots of fun for everyone, and guests had the chance to leave with a memorable photo to cherish!

He was very nice and communicative. We were a little late he was understanding and was still ready when we got there. He made our vowels personal off of what he observed. He talked to us and didn’t make it awkward. He was very nice the whole time.
