Great experience with DJ Sophie!
From our first conversation, Instant Request DJ Entertainment was responsive and easy to work with. They took our inspiration list seriously and nailed the music selections for our reception. What really impressed us was how accommodating they were when we wanted to do a few unique things with our celebrationāthey didn't just say yes, they made it happen seamlessly. Their setup and sound quality were flawless, and they kept the energy exactly where we wanted it all night. We felt like they genuinely cared about making our day special, not just playing songs. We'd absolutely recommend them to any couple looking for a DJ who actually listens and delivers.

Not bad but our only issues from the day
Unfortunately, DJ Auctavias did not play the right song for our family processional- The Vitamin String Quartet had two songs with the same name and the wrong one was played which was just an entirely different sound and vibe than I was wanting. He apologized later that night saying "Sorry I just didn't have your version".. We also had multiple songs on our Must Play list that did not get played in the night. There was a slight mix up with the last song of the night with him as well, which he was thankfully able to correct quickly. All this said- there was never a dull moment on the dance floor and DJ Auctavias had some cool transitions between songs. He was a good MC and we really did enjoy our planning phone call with him a month before our wedding. I think if you are a little less particular about music on your wedding day he would be a good choice- thankfully all these things weren't noticeable at all to our guests to affect their experience. I am just writing this as the rest of our day was absolutely perfect other than these hiccups in the music department and there just seemed to be a little lack of attention to detail from my perspective.

Great DJ for a fun party!
We really enjoyed working with DJ Rick and Instant Request. They had a great online system for selecting dance music and other special songs, and also accommodated/enhanced our Spotify playlists for cocktails and dinner as needed. Matt was always super responsive to any email questions too! We were so pleasantly surprised when he started playing a song/rap that he created with special details specific to our wedding (Iām guessing he got the information from a detailed day-of timeline that I shared with all vendors). It was a really fun surprise! DJ Rickās personality was great for our wedding: more laid back during dinner and fun/energetic later onāthe dance floor always had people! Given that we had an earlier start time due to our Catholic ceremony/Mass, I really appreciated that it was a flat rate for the wedding and not hourlyābut we tried to tip accordingly! Would highly recommend them!
