“Not only is Precise Blend (James) one of the kindest people I've had the pleasure of working with, he is also very creative, responsive, professional and flexible when making your event come to life through music. He took time to really get to know us and it was important to him that we were happy and not stressed for our big day. He DJ'd our Sonoma Valley wedding and it was such a magical evening. His photo booth, music and lights really brought the venue to life and guests had a great time dancing. I love that his equipment is sleek, not bulky and doesn't stand out in photos. The app he works through is user friendly and I love that we were able to invite different collaborators to add songs to the dancing playlist. His team truly did a quality job on making the night memorable and I'm so glad we chose them as our music vendor! There is not enough good things I can write about Precise Blend and James. We had a few zoom meetings set up for DJ's and he was our first zoom call. We knew from the moment we talked to him that he was perfect for us and our wedding. We booked him last minute (probably 2 months in advance) and he was so accommodating. If we needed anything, he was a quick text away. He has a wonderful app to pick all your music and organize it from the processional, to the cocktail hour music, etc. I sent him a few songs that I wanted to surprise my now husband with to walk down the aisle and he put them together for me and made it perfect for us. Another great aspect was that our photographers Photo Booth broke from another wedding so we reached out to James and he made sure that we had a Photo Booth. It was amazing and the pictures from our family and friends are so fun! James has a wonderful team and made our night amazing and fun! We consider him family now. I would recommend him to anyone! He first created us a sample music playlist for us to see what his DJ style was like and we loved it! “Ashley and Sampson were a great team for DJing our wedding! We had a very DIY venue that was a pretty blank slate, but the lighting and ambiance created by Sampson as our DJ really allowed people to dance (which we were pretty anxious about as non-dancers ourselves!). All the organization of the night went really smoothly too, things were announced exactly as we were hoping, tables got served food in great time, and we got to do our dances, cake cutting etc at a good pace. And I appreciated when our DJ double-checked with my husband on how long we wanted our first dance song as that was the part of the night we were most nervous about! I also appreciated the communication and planning ahead of time, and ability to send over tracks we'd like played or avoided in an easy to use website. We truly had all the songs we loved played, and all of the additions made were super fun and worked really well. My friends really enjoyed the night, and there was some good dancing for the older family members too. We had a lot of fun at our wedding in large part to Sampson's expertise!!! And Ashley was so lovely to work with in coordinating and scheduling, and was so professional with our coordinator when we had timeline changes. Thank you!!!”

“Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”

It absolutely delivers the best of both worlds, and they pulled it off flawlessly. But really, the biggest shout-out – and the core of this whole review – belongs to the phenomenal Marlon Aldana, our DJ and drummer. We first spotted him in action on Golden Bell's Instagram, and it was an instant "that's our guy!" moment. You can imagine our excitement when we found out he was available for our date! Working with Marlon from the very beginning was just an absolute pleasure. He wasn't just playing music; he was genuinely feeling the room, intuitively knowing when to let a song build or transition to keep the energy up. We had a last-minute idea to add an extra instrument, and the Golden Bell team didn't blink. They jumped right in, helping us find the perfect addition without any issues. Plus, we had a separate violinist for our ceremony, and it was so impressive to see how effortlessly all the vendors collaborated. No drama, just smooth, professional teamwork, which really speaks volumes about Golden Bell's commitment to making your day seamless. Now, for the ultimate highlight: our after-party! We decided to do something a little different and host it in a wine cellar, and Marlon and his team elevated it beyond anything we could have imagined. When they brought in a fog machine, the entire atmosphere transformed. It wasn't just a party; it was an experience! That fog machine honestly MADE the party, turning the space into something truly epic. I genuinely can't picture it having the same incredible energy without it, so a massive thank you for that unexpected, perfect touch. And because we had a masquerade theme, I asked if the DJs would wear disco masks and they SAID YES and wore them the entire time, even after I told them they absolutely didn't have to for more than one song! It just created such an amazing vibe, and we've got the pictures to prove how much fun everyone had! There's just so much to appreciate about this incredible group. “Sutherland Entertainment was one of our vendors at our wedding this past weekend at the Brazilian Room in Berkeley, CA and we cannot say enough good things about Spencer! He was on the preferred list of vendors for this venue and we can see why. Spencer is detail oriented, professional and a great MC/ DJ. He has a variety of packages that offer AV, DJ-ing and even photo booth services. He is incredibly knowledgeable and we had zero mic feedback, great mic volume and clarity. He was able to read the crowd and kept the party going all night long! Before the wedding he made sure to send over a planning spreadsheet so he knew exactly what it was we wanted. He even helped put up some Chinese lanterns for us on the patio to really bring our vision to life. Day of, he checked in with us the whole day to make sure we were feeling good. We had a small issue with a table falling over and he was the first vendor to come over and reassure us that everything was going to be fine. “Keith was the perfect DJ. Honestly! There is nothing that we would change about our wedding night, it was truly perfect. Keith is a class act professional who makes no compromise between quality and affordability. He values his clients and offers extraordinary service at an affordable price. I went in with high (but reasonable) expectations for our wedding night, and he definitely delivered above and beyond!! We had read other reviews of weddings that Keith had DJ’d where the clients were musicians and they had curated a specific type of music they wanted throughout the night, and he nailed it. I consider myself a little bit of an audiophile, so I listen to a wide range of music, and I can also attest to just how amazing Keith’s music selection was! Part of a DJ’s job is to get you excited to go out on the dance floor, and we were already excited before the dancing began, because we just knew Keith was going to kill it (spoiler alert: he did!). He even mixed together multiple songs at once and it was amazing! Keith kept the atmosphere alive all night and there was never a dead moment. Most of the people were up and dancing, even people who have never been willing to dance before! It takes a skilled DJ to do that. It was electric. We had had a negative experience with another DJ company that we spoke to before we decided to look to Nocturnal Cafe, but just from the first conversation with Keith we knew he was our DJ. Keith was incredibly respectful to us, he was patient and understanding throughout the whole process, and he worked with us every step of the way to make sure we were going to have the best night of our lives. His process with his clients is great and made us feel very comfortable. He does a great job of avoiding the typical eye-roll cheesy songs (unless you request it, of course) and he picks songs that suit well for what you’re looking for. We gave him some songs/artists/genres we would like to hear (and some to songs to avoid) but we ultimately wanted to just give him an idea of what we were thinking and for him to use it as a guide more than a ‘must’. We gave him creative freedom to just let him work his magic and boy, was it magic that came out of those speakers!”

“This review for Zeb (and the whole Sounds Elevated Team) is long overdue. Zeb is not only an incredible musician in his own right but plays the role of musical conductor with equal panache. A true “Jack of All Trades.” Some of the many hats he wore for our wedding include: -He played solo guitar for our ceremony -Lined up a jazz quartet for the happy hour -Setup the party lighting (party but classy) for the reception -Setup a photo booth for guests to take fun photos (a big hit btw) -DJ’d with a live accompaniment combo for the reception - stayed up way later than we asked him to, and DJ our afterparty (which was a VERY different vibe than the reception). He was hustling for easily 10 hours straight. And every single element he contributed to the festivities was top tier. My older cousin, a professional musician for many years, was blown away by the level of talent. It’s been almost two years since the wedding and we still get compliments about the entertainment. He and his team went above and beyond. Easily the best “value” for anything we spent money on for the wedding. I strongly recommend meeting with Zeb and gearing his philosophy/approach to weddings/events.”

He started with elegant classical guitar during dinner, then gradually turned the energy up once guests were ready to dance.
