A Big Ticket Sound Experience was founded in the early 90s by Mark Hardin as the DJ Service for simple for hire social events and school dances. Then, moved quickly to DJing some of the biggest clubs in SF and nearby Bay Area cities. When Mark moved to the Sacramento area, he started working at Busby Berkeley, which was a swank nightclub on the 15th floor of the Hyatt Regency Hotel (Downtown Sacramento). Now, A Big-Ticket Sound Experience provides quality music selection, personable emcee skills, and non-intrusive party hosting. “It is my personal goal to go above and beyond; making your wedding or social event spectacular”.

Even though I have decades under my belt, I’m always trying to learn, keep up to date on the latest sound and lighting technology, and improve what I do. On the night of your wedding or special event, I’ll uplift you and your special guests and keep everyone entertained, without taking center stage. I strongly feel that on the night of your event, we are all working together as a family to keep you happy.

    Truly the best of the best! We had Mark Hardin as our wedding DJ and MC and I cannot say enough great things about how amazing he made our wedding! Not only did he keep the party going for the whole night, but DJ Mark also checked on my husband and I throughout the night to make sure we were having an amazing time and not worrying about anything. He was incredibly easy to work with, very professional, and upbeat! We appreciated that he paid close attention to all the small details that we put in the planning app, and it made our wedding day that much more special to us. DJ Mark and A Big Ticket Sound Experience were so amazing to work with and I cannot recommend them enough for weddings or your personalized events! They're the best of the best for a reason.     DJ Mark was the DJ for my daughter’s Halloween Themed wedding. Mark was amazing! He was everything we could have hoped for. The communication prior to the wedding was timely, efficient, and professional. He listened to all our requests and gathered all the info needed to make sure the day ran smoothly. We thought the planning app was a perfect touch for everyone. DJ Mark handled the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and special dances perfectly. He had great energy and kept the dance floor going strong all night long! DJ Mark was the best!!! Highly recommend him and his Team!

    DJ Mark from A Big Ticket Sound Experience helped us celebrate our wedding day 10/12/24 and was super comfortable and easy to plan with leading up to the day. Mark had some great selections himself where I asked him to choose as my wedding fatigue in planning set in. He was upbeat and energetic through the night and had my reception dancing despite the fact that many of my guests were older and perhaps not the partying type! But, Mark’s unsurpassed attention to detail had our older guests partying like never before. I was absolutely pleased and would 100% recommend A Big Ticket Sound Experience! If you are considering this DJ company, you’ve gotta get uplighting and photo booth as these add-ons were perfect!
