“Gemma was the best wedding DJ we could ever have asked for! We heard about her as a recommendation from our venue (Curtis Arboretum) which she is very familiar with. She invited me to see her DJ a set and she was dancing and singing with everyone. We knew she would be perfect. She is very communicative and played music that got all ages on the dance floor. She plays all genres and you can tell she really loves each event she is a part of. I had multiple guests come up and tell me how much they enjoyed her DJ'ing. With her services, lighting can be included as well as a wonderful pink photobooth. She also has vintage photography (see below for a black and white photo from her) and videography services available. She even saved the day and had a microphone for us to use during our ceremony when we found out we did not have one. At the end of the event, we felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend we had known for a long time!”

Emails were even sent on the weekends and beyond normal work hours, which impressed me even more. The entire team worked with all of my needs and they were dedicated to ensuring every detail was addressed. “We hired Rick for our September 2024 wedding, and he did a wonderful job! He kept guests on the dance floor all night long, and did a great job MCing our event and helping us orchestrate several performances. We planned special entrances for each member of the bridal party, a surprise choreographed dance, and multiple speeches which he handled with ease. He also brought great lighting and photobooth, which was a hit with the guests. His prices were very reasonable while still delivering high quality service. “Eclectic Entertainment was fantastic to work with for our wedding! After the initial phone call, they set up the entire timeline and music on a convenient online portal, which I really appreciated. The week before the wedding, I was able to speak directly with DJ Big George and our photographer JP to finalize all the details. DJ Big George was fabulous - he kept the music flowing smoothly and read the crowd perfectly, even though I didn't provide a detailed playlist. JP the photographer was fantastic! Had a great personality and always there to capture the important moments, like when my dress broke right before the ceremony and he offered tools to help the girls fix it! “The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“Kevin is AMAZING!!! He DJed our wedding celebration in May 2024, and WOW - he was 100000% our dream DJ. We had eloped a year earlier, so our "vision" for the night was to have an epic dance party with all of our friends - Kevin understood this immediately, and delivered truly beyond our wildest imagination! He kept the vibes moving during cocktail hour, and then seriously BROUGHT THE PARTY. The dancefloor was packed for over 3 hours straight. It felt like every single person there asked us where we had found our DJ, and they couldn't believe the mixes he was doing on the fly!! From the moment I first reached out to him in January right up until the end of the event, Kevin was consistently professional, upbeat, and efficient. He replied to all communication quickly, and was SO thoughtful in his preparation. He provided a shared document months ahead of time so that we could share music and scheduling info, and on the night of the event it was so evident that he had paid attention to every single detail ever mentioned in the document, over Zoom, or on our site visit. Every single must-play song came on at the perfect time, he managed to source very specific remixes that I had mentioned, and he kept the night running on schedule with such a chill, stress-free, and adaptable vibe. Kevin even introduced us to his colleague Richie for dance lights when we were debating our lighting options, which also ended up being absolutely perfect! I cannot stress enough how collaborative and understanding Kevin is, how smooth the process was, and most importantly - what a KILLER DJ he is. He truly wants to deliver the night of your dreams. My heart felt like it was going to explode in the best way multiple times that night, because of all the incredible, better-than-you-could-ever-have-imagined dancefloor moments.
