We can’t thank Micah enough for guiding us through this wedding process! We booked her for the day of package, since I (bride) had a work history that overlapped with event decor. I can’t recommend booking her enough, even if you think you’ve “already got this”— she has a ton of insight and protected us from getting too stressed over anything. She went above and beyond her stated duties and we felt so fortunate. She held our hands when we needed it, but also gave us the flexibility and room to make our own creative decisions. That being said- her design instincts are broad for any theme, and absolutely gorgeous. Her team is fabulous too- very professional, detail oriented. Everything went off without a hitch, and we are so glad to be able to look back at that moment in our lives with a feeling of joy and connectedness, not stress and burnout.

Where do I even begin? Liz is truly a one of a kind human being. I don’t think I could ever fully put into words how exceptional she is. Her warm, genuine personality, constant professionalism, and humble, grounded presence made every part of the planning process feel supported, organized, and despite my natural overthinking stress. We didn’t originally plan on hiring a wedding planner. But about nine months out, I quickly realized I needed help. Choosing Liz ended up being one of the best decisions we made. She guided us through every detail with ease and confidence. Not only did she help manage our entire wedding, but she also planned our honeymoon, which turned out to be beyond anything we ever could have imagined. One of our top activities in Aruba opened for reservations the day after our wedding, and Liz booked it immediately that morning to get us in. She booked all activities and restaurants for us. Anytime I had a question, which was often, she responded within minutes or simply called me. She made everything fun, approachable, and stress-free. She kept detailed tabs on every task and ensured nothing slipped through the cracks. Even when I had the majority of vendors and plans in place, she refined everything with such precision. She understood my personality and how overwhelmed I can get, even when things are technically “done,” and she guided me through everything with patience and grace. The week of the wedding, she checked in frequently. On the day of, she was phenomenal. Every detail was set up exactly how we envisioned it. Labeling bins and décor helped her and her assistant move seamlessly, and I’m so grateful because she executed our entire moody/vintage aesthetic vision flawlessly. Two days before the wedding, when I couldn’t find greenery anywhere, Liz made one or two calls and found it instantly. I’ll never forget when I urgently needed our honeymoon flight information for our rental car info and she literally pulled over on the highway to send it to me. That is who she is, someone who goes above and beyond in ways most people wouldn’t even consider. Her pricing is more than fair, and her service is worth every single penny. Whether you need full-service planning or just check-ins, she adapts to exactly what you need. I had most things planned, but still had countless details and small several questions lol. No matter how minor or silly they felt, she always responded with kindness and expertise. Our FaceTime meetings became a highlight of the planning process. Occasionally, her pups or her daughter would pop into the frame, making everything feel personal-not like a business transaction, but like talking to a friend who genuinely cared about us and our day. Liz is an amazing planner, but she is an even better human. Humble, compassionate, creative, organized, and incredibly knowledgeable, especially with florals. I made my own centerpieces, and with her guidance, they turned out exactly how I imagined. Russell and I are endlessly grateful she was part of our wedding. I could cry thinking about how much she did for us. Liz, thank you for making our day perfect. Thank you for your dedication, your heart, your time, and your incredible talent. We truly could not have done any of this without you. No wedding turns out perfect, but everything Liz was involved with/in charge of - was. We are forever thankful for her.

Jesica was amazing to work with. She gave me great feedback as I was a very, very hands-on bride. She was never offended or defensive with any ask or ideas that I had to offer. On the day of our wedding she was so attentive that it impressed our guests. She executed everything that I had asked to be done flawlessly! She was comforting and grounded, and helped center me. She was an immense help for breaking down decorations and gathering everything at the end of the night. I had the pleasure of working alongside Jacinda and her team as a wedding content creator at a wedding at The Little Chapel at Haven Ridge in Winston-Salem, and I was genuinely so impressed. From a vendor perspective, everything was incredibly well-organized, thoughtful, and smooth. The timeline flowed effortlessly, communication was clear, and every detail was handled with such care and intention. From a guest perspective, the entire day felt beautiful and elevated — the venue, the florals, the music (including a live violinist), the DJ, and the food were all absolutely wonderful. You could truly feel the level of attention given to every element. Most importantly, the bride felt calm, present, and able to fully enjoy her day — which says everything about the quality of planning behind the scenes. Jacinda and her team created such a warm, seamless experience for everyone involved. I would be more than happy to work together again and highly recommend them to any couple looking for a thoughtful and detail-oriented planner.

From start to finish working with Avenue Design Studio was a fantastic experience! I had an initial call with Chad and based on that I knew they were professionals who could bring my vision to life through floral design and day of coordination. Then they continued to provide clear and open communication throughout the planning process and were able to make suggestions as needed to advance my vision. The week of the wedding I was in contact with Morgan who would be our official day of coordinator. Morgan ended up saving the day when our bartender cancelled on us last minute; she stepped in and bartended on top of coordinating. Then she was able to work with me to donate our flowers to a women’s shelter; a cause that hits close to home for me. I cannot recommend Avenue Design Studio enough!!

J M Event Co. are truly the best duo! Mkayla and Jordan are absolute dolls—so organized, on time, and incredibly prepared. They catered to every detail of the wedding day, which allowed my husband and me to be fully creative with our photo and video work. Having wedding planners is key to a smooth day, but having great wedding planners like J M Event Co. is the best thing you can do to truly enjoy your day! We absolutely hope to work with them again soon.
