“If anyone were to ask me what my favorite part of my wedding was I’d have to say “Black Walnut Farm!” What a remarkable experience it has been to work with Sarah, Jim, Lish, Lindsey, and of course, Miss Lilly! My partner and I didn’t even bother viewing another venue because we could instantly feel how special the BWF property was — we called 30 minutes after our tour and said we were ready for the contract and deposit. Even still Black Walnut Farm far exceeded our expectations! Everything about this venue is so thoughtfully curated and managed. There is just so much care and consideration that has gone into every inch of this very special place! My partner and I decided to have a “honeymoon” week during the week of the wedding; we chose to have the extended package where we stayed on the property just the two of us. Unwinding in front of the fireplace while playing chess and drinking wine was such a lovely way to relax the night before. The sunroom is the perfect place for getting ready the morning of the wedding! After our wedding (in lieu of an after party) we just asked to have the hot tub ready for us, which was the best move ever! Most importantly, the BWF team were so kind and patient, cool and collected. In the face of some extreme family drama and chaotic spring weather they always rolled with the punches. I felt that I could trust them fully and always felt safe and cared for. I was not afraid to defer to their expertise in the midst of the chaos, and I do not regret any of those decisions! In fact, the backup rain plan ended up being better than the original plan! Thank you again, Black Walnut Farm. You have created something so very, very special and we will be eternally grateful!”

“I can't thank the team at Mountain Creek enough for being such a huge part of why our day was so perfect. The planning team of Colleen, Jessica, and Alyssa were wonderful. They were so easy to work with, answered questions before you thought to ask them, and when you did have your own questions always took the time to lay everything out. From start to finish we had a great experience with them. The day of team was amazing and truly went above and beyond. Suzy and Diona were the best to work with. I want to give a shout out to Diona in particular. She was my bridal attendant but did so much more. She also was the full day of coordinator. She was super prepared, had everything you could possibly need, oversaw everything, and truly ensured the day went perfectly. She was incredible. The staff all know exactly what they're doing, and have everything down pat. The venue itself gets truly transformed for weddings. The mountain top view for the ceremony was breathtaking and our guests will not stop talking about it, and the gondola ride each way. We also got so many compliments on the food. I absolutely recommend having a wedding here. Mountain Creek made our whole day so incredibly special and I can't thank them enough. Best day ever!”

“As a wedding planner and designer based in NYC for over a decade, I’ve seen a lot of venues—and this one is truly special. The barn strikes that rare balance between thoughtful design and genuine warmth. It has a refined, NYC-designer sensibility—elevated, intentional, never kitschy—while still feeling relaxed, cozy, and grounded in that unmistakable Hudson Valley charm. The space itself feels like a home rather than a rental: intimate, eclectic, and quietly magical. It creates an atmosphere that immediately puts people at ease and makes celebrations feel meaningful and personal. What truly sets this venue apart is that it’s family-owned and operated, and you feel that care in every interaction. The owners are communicative, accommodating, and consistently go above and beyond to support couples and vendors alike. From a professional standpoint, that level of partnership is invaluable. On top of all of this, the venue is refreshingly budget-friendly for the experience it offers—something that’s increasingly rare. It’s a true hidden gem, and couples who find it are incredibly lucky. Book today for the most magical wedding home!”

“Basically everyone I have seen since the wedding who was there has privately told me it was the best wedding they've been to. We picked Blooming Hill because of the food and the location, but the best part may have been the staff. They run a tight ship. Everything went smoothly, everyone was a pro, and we always felt we were in good hands. And if there were any issues, I never heard about it, which is exactly how I would want it at my wedding. Our main point of contact Jordan was a rock star. I know you kind of have to say your wedding was the best day of your life but in our case it really was!”

“We started the wedding planning process by starting to look at venues. Falkirk was the first venue we had toured and immediately fell in love with it. From seeing the golf course, the waterfall, the gazebo, and incredible views, it was breathtaking and we imagined ourselves getting married there immediately. We met with Andrea during our tour, and had the pleasure of getting to work with her throughout our planning process, and was absolutely incredible on the day of our wedding! She made herself available to answer our (many) questions, going over timelines, and ensuring that our vision and dreams for the day came true. They had it all, from phenomenal staff to incredible food, not to mention the stunning views. We could not have asked for better! They truly make you feel like a VIP throughout the entire wedding weekend. Andrea was an absolute gem to work with, and made sure everything we dreamed of came true. And when we got the opportunity to have fireworks during our reception?! To this day, we have friends and family still talking about the firework show. Andrea worked seamlessly with other vendors and the firework staff to make sure it was a surprise show that no one would forget. Our wedding day was a dream, and we are so glad we had it at the Falkirk Estate and Country Club. We are so incredibly happy we got the pleasure to work with them, and would recommend any couples that are starting the wedding planning process, to reach out to them.”

“Rock Island was the best decision we could have ever made. Our experience was 110% perfect from start to finish. From our first tour with Stephanie, we were hooked and immediately knew 'this was the place'. In the 18 months leading up to our wedding, we never felt overwhelmed or alone in the planning process. Our coordinator Elaine, was and IS the best of the best. Every email, check-in meeting and question was always greeted with excitement, warmth and reassurance. Elaine made sure everything was perfect not only throughout the planning process, but especially on the day of our wedding. The day itself truly was flawless. Elaine, Abby, Robby, Jill and the countless other Rock Island Staff we worked with day of ensured that not one thing was out of place. We, alongside all our guests, felt so much love and attention from the staff that they felt like family by the end of the night. We cannot thank you all enough for the work you do and how meant for your roles each of you are. The venue itself is stunning, with an updated and picturesque lakeside setting that felt so inclusive and special. We could not have asked for a more beautiful backdrop for our wedding. We came into wedding planning wanting an 'indoor/ outdoor' vibe and Rock Island delivered that in every way. The food was also some of the best wedding food we have seen/ tried (our guests would agree!) which is a true testament to the kitchen staff! Additionally, our bar staff did a phenomenal job with our signature cocktails and espresso martini bar. We hope to experience RILC as a guest some day! It's been almost a month and my husband and I talk about our wedding every day. Every family member and friend we talk to tell us it was one of the most incredible weddings they have ever been to. If we could relive the day over, there's not one thing we would change. Thank you Rock Island Lake Club for EVERYTHING. Would recommend to anyone looking for a NJ wedding venue.”

“Words truly cannot express how much I loved Sylvan Ridge Farm and their incredible team for our wedding weekend. It was the weekend of my dreams, and leaving at the end was so bittersweet. From the planning process to the wedding day, everything with Alyssa was absolutely flawless. As someone who is very Type A, I truly appreciated how organized and prepared she was. She had every detail under control, which allowed me to relax and be fully present throughout our day. She was incredibly patient, attentive, and caring whenever I had questions or needed anything. We absolutely adored her and the entire team. Sylvan Ridge Farm was the perfect venue for our wedding. One of our biggest priorities was finding a place where we could spend as much time as possible with our family and friends, and this venue made that possible. That ended up being one of my favorite parts of the entire weekend. We are so grateful for the unforgettable memories we made there and couldn't imagine celebrating anywhere else.”

“As a wedding planner who has worked with many venues, I can confidently say that Pine Brook Manor is something truly special. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous, and you can tell that every detail has been thoughtfully considered. But as beautiful as the venue is, what stands out to me even more are the people behind it. The owners genuinely care about both the client experience and the vendor experience, which makes such a difference throughout the planning process and on the wedding day. They are easy to communicate with, wonderful to work alongside, and truly some of the most genuine people I have met in this industry. As a planner, having a venue team that values collaboration and cares just as much about creating an incredible experience for the couple is invaluable. Pine Brook Manor is not only stunning, but truly a venue I would recommend to all of my clients as a place to consider getting married. The venue speaks for itself, but the people behind it are what make it even more special. When you book with Pine Brook, you are in the best hands, with people who genuinely care and are invested in your day. I cannot recommend Pine Brook Manor enough!”

It is clear that they do this because they are genuinely passionate about it and enjoy it. They were very attentive and clear about everything which made the planning a breeze and put us both at ease. Any requests or questions we had were met and answered with no problems. They run this venue like a well oiled machine. The day went so smoothly, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Tricia made sure we ate and were enjoying ourselves throughout the whole day. Many of our guests said it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to. Not only did they compliment the food, but our guests really loved the venue. The Lippincott is so beautifully decorated and the grounds are gorgeous. We really only had to provide our floral centerpieces and whatever extra decorations we wanted. They provided the tablecloths, runners, napkins, and lots of decorations. Best of all this venue is so affordable. The all inclusive packages were a great option and saved us so much time in looking for vendors. You cannot beat the value and price of this venue. “This is by far the most romantic, breath taking and incredible location for a wedding. My *now* husband, Todd, and I toured The North Shore house back in January 2025. We fell in love instantly and this was in the dead of winter where the trees were bare and the ground was frozen. We saw the pictures and I knew instantly that this venue would be stunning during the summer/fall time. I remember meeting the owner during that tour and how incredibly sweet she was. When the manager, Eric, gave us all the preliminary details, I began tearing up from excitement. “This is it,” I thought so I asked to have a moment with my fiancé to discuss, after nudging him under the table. When Eric left the room, I blurted out instantly, “This is it! We found it! I want it!” Todd agreed and so began the planning stages with Emma, our events coordinator. Emma is beyond prepared and brilliant. She asked us so many important questions and made the planning process easy. She was super detailed, super knowledgeable and clearly an expert in wedding planning. Her recommendations were always the best choices and she was incredibly responsive throughout. I cannot express to you how incredible she is and how much I recommend working with Emma. She’s lovely, brilliant, and made the entire journey less stressful. The day of our wedding, there were some unforeseen things that came up but Emma took care of everything. She was always direct, communicative and respectful. She thought of things way before we could anticipate the need. A small example of this was our extra flowers. We had flowers lined down the aisle during the ceremony. She asked if she could repurpose them during the reception once the ceremony concluded. We said yes. She immediately repurposed them as decoration by the bar and made the area more beautiful. Now, the venue and inn itself. All my guests voiced how stunning the venue is from the ceremony location outdoor by the lake, to the reception space with the polished wood, and each individual room. My guests are telling me they felt like they escaped the hustle and bustle of the metropolitan area to a completely new country on a mountain top by the lake. Everyone felt the romantic setting come to life. The best part? We had the entire place to ourselves since they only do 1 wedding per day, so your guests can walk the grounds without interrupting another ceremony. Let’s talk food! I will quote a friend of mine who ran up to me on the dance floor yelling, “OMG. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST STEAK IVE EVER HAD AT A WEDDING!!!” People are raving to us constantly about the food. The lobster station was a hit! The hanger steak was by far the most loved dish. Every single selection was delicious. I loved how incredibly accommodating they are with allergies and dietary restriction. I’m gluten free, so anything I was given was made sure to be gluten free. Even the staff knew this so they alerted me what wasn’t gluten free so that I knew. The North Shore House makes your wedding dream come true; ours truly was the perfect day with the perfect weather and the perfect food.”

“My husband and I got married at Bear Brook Valley this past weekend and it was absolutely PERFECT! Our experience with the Bear Brook team since we booked our date with them two years ago has been amazing. The renovations they completed last year are absolutely stunning. The boys absolutely loved getting ready in the new speakeasy lounge, the golf simulator was a huge hit! Our guests raved about the food and drinks. Our coordinator, Amanda was incredible! Not only did she walk me through the planning process (we did not hire an official wedding planner), but she responded promptly to all my questions via email and executed my entire vision the day of the wedding! Everything ran super smoothly. Our bridal and groom suite attendants, Amber and Cameron, were on top of everything the entire wedding day! Anytime we needed anything they were there. They were constantly making sure we had a drink in hand if we needed one, Amber helped me get a stain out of my dress, and they both graciously steamed all of the dresses and tuxes! Something we both absolutely love about Bear Brook is that their team makes you feel special and valued. They truly value making sure your day is the best it can be, which was not my experience touring other venues. Because of this incredible team, I was able to enjoy every minute of my day without any stress! If you’re considering booking Bear Brook - DO IT! We genuinely cannot recommend them enough!”

“We recently had our wedding at Hudson Loft (OnTheMarc) and it was the best party we’ve ever attended! Every element of the planning process was thoughtful and Sam, the Senior Event Producer we worked with was incredibly detail-oriented, organized, and on top of it all! We felt cared for from the very beginning stages and that care continued through the wedding with every staff member who helped to make the day run so smoothly. We can’t say enough about the FOOD. It was hard to narrow down to 8 (!!) passed appetizers because they were all so delicious. The presentation is exceptional at OnThe Marc - every appetizer is truly bite-size and bursting with flavor. It’s like having the tiniest versions of all of your favorite foods from lobster rolls and tacos to sliders, chicken and waffles, spicy tuna on crispy rice and beyond. Everything felt both elevated and also grounded in quality ingredients and thoughtful execution. For the main course, we did 2 stations and were thrilled with the results. Throughout the night, family and friends commented on how amazing every bite was and how wonderfully varied the choices were. We highly recommend this special event space for couples seeking a gorgeous open layout in Westchester that can truly be a canvas for any design and flowers. The location, situated right opposite the MetroNorth train station in Irvington, was perfect for friends and family traveling from the city. The windows are a showstopper, looking out onto the Hudson and filling the room with a warm glow well into the evening. We loved that we didn’t have to rent any furniture. There is plenty of seating and many furniture options for display. The long tables were a great way to promote conversation during cocktail hour. We also loved the lighting! The exposed bulb fixtures give an appealing industrial vibe. We did our ceremony at Hudson Loft and the table set-up was seamless during the cocktail hour. Our Event Captain, Teresa, was thorough, diligent, and accessible the entire time. She made it all feel so easy and joyful! OnTheMarc will make you feel completely at ease with every detail. We are so grateful to have chosen this special place for our wedding!”
