“We cannot say enough amazing things about Bello Giorno Estate. The location of the estate is adjacent to a small river, which made for absolutely spectacular wedding photos. Think Secret Garden meets Italian Villa! We also loved the intimate feel of the banquet hall, which was the perfect fit for our wedding size. Our guests loved the food and service. Even though we planned our wedding remotely, working with Monica and Stephanie was incredibly easy, as they were very responsive to both email and phone calls. We felt like they went above and beyond to accommodate us and tailor our wedding so it would be perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to hold our wedding. Thank you Bello Giorno!”

“Rock Island was the best decision we could have ever made. Our experience was 110% perfect from start to finish. From our first tour with Stephanie, we were hooked and immediately knew 'this was the place'. In the 18 months leading up to our wedding, we never felt overwhelmed or alone in the planning process. Our coordinator Elaine, was and IS the best of the best. Every email, check-in meeting and question was always greeted with excitement, warmth and reassurance. Elaine made sure everything was perfect not only throughout the planning process, but especially on the day of our wedding. The day itself truly was flawless. Elaine, Abby, Robby, Jill and the countless other Rock Island Staff we worked with day of ensured that not one thing was out of place. We, alongside all our guests, felt so much love and attention from the staff that they felt like family by the end of the night. We cannot thank you all enough for the work you do and how meant for your roles each of you are. The venue itself is stunning, with an updated and picturesque lakeside setting that felt so inclusive and special. We could not have asked for a more beautiful backdrop for our wedding. We came into wedding planning wanting an 'indoor/ outdoor' vibe and Rock Island delivered that in every way. The food was also some of the best wedding food we have seen/ tried (our guests would agree!) which is a true testament to the kitchen staff! Additionally, our bar staff did a phenomenal job with our signature cocktails and espresso martini bar. We hope to experience RILC as a guest some day! It's been almost a month and my husband and I talk about our wedding every day. Every family member and friend we talk to tell us it was one of the most incredible weddings they have ever been to. If we could relive the day over, there's not one thing we would change. Thank you Rock Island Lake Club for EVERYTHING. Would recommend to anyone looking for a NJ wedding venue.”

The space itself is absolutely stunning, and the entire team, especially Karen and Blake, were great to work with throughout the entire process. They went above and beyond, unpacking all of our wedding decor and setting it up perfectly. The food was also delicious! If I had to say one negative thing (just so you know this is real.) ... was the cost of the bridal suite and the den, which felt a bit high. Overall, we had an amazing experience at Lake Mohawk Country Club and would highly recommend them to any couples looking for a beautiful wedding venue.”

The entire staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made us feel like we had known them forever. It was clear that the team at Perona Farms is dedicated to making every couple’s day as special as possible. The venue and grounds were impeccably maintained. Despite having three weddings that weekend, we never saw another bride, which made us feel like we had the place all to ourselves. It was truly our day. The food was absolutely outstanding, and guests are still talking about how delicious it was almost six months later. We held our reception in the Refinery, and it was absolutely gorgeous. “We recently had our wedding at Hudson Loft (OnTheMarc) and it was the best party we’ve ever attended! Every element of the planning process was thoughtful and Sam, the Senior Event Producer we worked with was incredibly detail-oriented, organized, and on top of it all! We felt cared for from the very beginning stages and that care continued through the wedding with every staff member who helped to make the day run so smoothly. We can’t say enough about the FOOD. It was hard to narrow down to 8 (!!) passed appetizers because they were all so delicious. The presentation is exceptional at OnThe Marc - every appetizer is truly bite-size and bursting with flavor. It’s like having the tiniest versions of all of your favorite foods from lobster rolls and tacos to sliders, chicken and waffles, spicy tuna on crispy rice and beyond. Everything felt both elevated and also grounded in quality ingredients and thoughtful execution. For the main course, we did 2 stations and were thrilled with the results. Throughout the night, family and friends commented on how amazing every bite was and how wonderfully varied the choices were. We highly recommend this special event space for couples seeking a gorgeous open layout in Westchester that can truly be a canvas for any design and flowers. The location, situated right opposite the MetroNorth train station in Irvington, was perfect for friends and family traveling from the city. The windows are a showstopper, looking out onto the Hudson and filling the room with a warm glow well into the evening. We loved that we didn’t have to rent any furniture. There is plenty of seating and many furniture options for display. The long tables were a great way to promote conversation during cocktail hour. We also loved the lighting! The exposed bulb fixtures give an appealing industrial vibe. We did our ceremony at Hudson Loft and the table set-up was seamless during the cocktail hour. Our Event Captain, Teresa, was thorough, diligent, and accessible the entire time. She made it all feel so easy and joyful! OnTheMarc will make you feel completely at ease with every detail. We are so grateful to have chosen this special place for our wedding!”

“We started the wedding planning process by starting to look at venues. Falkirk was the first venue we had toured and immediately fell in love with it. From seeing the golf course, the waterfall, the gazebo, and incredible views, it was breathtaking and we imagined ourselves getting married there immediately. We met with Andrea during our tour, and had the pleasure of getting to work with her throughout our planning process, and was absolutely incredible on the day of our wedding! She made herself available to answer our (many) questions, going over timelines, and ensuring that our vision and dreams for the day came true. They had it all, from phenomenal staff to incredible food, not to mention the stunning views. We could not have asked for better! They truly make you feel like a VIP throughout the entire wedding weekend. Andrea was an absolute gem to work with, and made sure everything we dreamed of came true. And when we got the opportunity to have fireworks during our reception?! To this day, we have friends and family still talking about the firework show. Andrea worked seamlessly with other vendors and the firework staff to make sure it was a surprise show that no one would forget. Our wedding day was a dream, and we are so glad we had it at the Falkirk Estate and Country Club. We are so incredibly happy we got the pleasure to work with them, and would recommend any couples that are starting the wedding planning process, to reach out to them.”

“We had a vision, and Clinton/West Song Farm had all of the answers! We’re musicians and Deadheads, so the #1 VALUE of choosing this venue was the live band they put together for us and played the most epic setlist of NON- traditional wedding songs. This was a rock and roll wedding — every detail branded as a music festival wedding called JAMMIN ON THE FARM. The fates had it where we had PERFECT sunny skies and 70 degrees in mid September, painting the most beautiful landscape when guests arrived and took a hayride or leisurely walk to the ceremony under a massive willow tree. I walked down the grassy, dramatic aisle with my mom, and my twin brothers led the funniest, most joyful ceremony. The band played during cocktail hour which I called “Shakedown Street”, with a Dead-inspired VW van photo booth bus, flower crowns, custom merch, farm-grown flower decor, tap truck for drinks and more. Dinner and dessert were served in 2 food trucks with 10 options to choose from - I cannot overstate how much guests LOVED this format. After dinner we brought a cannabis bar, bonfire and dessert to keep the party going. Clinton invited me on stage to sing my favorite Taylor Swift song (Anti-Hero) and if you can’t already tell, this was the BEST wedding ever ever ever ever. Clinton made it all possible, and while it costs a lot to build your dream wedding, West Song Farm made it ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT!!!!! Do not miss out on this amazing amazing amazing venue and team.”

“My wedding was on 9/18/2026, and I am so BLOWN AWAY with how incredible everything was at Waterloo Village. Sindy was our coordinator, and she truly went above and beyond to meet all expectations during the planning stages and on the day of. Wedding venue and coordination: The grounds at Waterloo Village are absolutely beautiful. Granted, the weather was on our side, but one of the biggest deciding factors for us to go with Waterloo was their solid "rain plan" regarding the ceremony. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception areas were in different spaces but in very close proximity to each other, which really gave it an elevated feel. I had a few guests with mobility issues, but they were well taken care of by the venue staff because of the on-site golf cart transportation. Sindy and her assistant, Jordan, were incredible on the day of. So attentive to myself, the groom, the entire bridal party, and our parents and key family members. Sindy was punctual, easy to communicate with, and helped bring my whimsical wedding vision to life. Food and Drinks: Every one of my guests complimented the food and said it was some of the best they have ever had for a wedding. It was abundant and constantly flowing. The cocktails were incredible, and each cocktail matched its specific glassware, which was important to me. The desserts were also incredible, and we went with a funfetti cake, warm chocolate chip cookies (best I've ever had), and the mini gelato cones. There were so many things to choose from, and everything was fresh and amazing. My husband and I hope to be guests at a JAM Hospitality Group wedding to experience the entire event from a different perspective. Everything was great. 1000/10 would recommend Waterloo Village to any couple who wants a whimsical, magical, forest vibe wedding with amazing staff, food, and drinks. One of the absolute happiest days of our lives!”

“As a wedding planner and designer based in NYC for over a decade, I’ve seen a lot of venues—and this one is truly special. The barn strikes that rare balance between thoughtful design and genuine warmth. It has a refined, NYC-designer sensibility—elevated, intentional, never kitschy—while still feeling relaxed, cozy, and grounded in that unmistakable Hudson Valley charm. The space itself feels like a home rather than a rental: intimate, eclectic, and quietly magical. It creates an atmosphere that immediately puts people at ease and makes celebrations feel meaningful and personal. What truly sets this venue apart is that it’s family-owned and operated, and you feel that care in every interaction. The owners are communicative, accommodating, and consistently go above and beyond to support couples and vendors alike. From a professional standpoint, that level of partnership is invaluable. On top of all of this, the venue is refreshingly budget-friendly for the experience it offers—something that’s increasingly rare. It’s a true hidden gem, and couples who find it are incredibly lucky. “Our wedding on May 1, 2026 was truly the best day of our lives, and the entire Hudson House team exceeded every expectation we had. We had a bit of a rocky start during the initial booking process, but once Elena, the General Manager, stepped in and connected us with Gabriel, the Director, everything became seamless. From that point forward, we felt completely taken care of. The food tasting alone was an experience unlike anything we've ever seen. It was an incredible feast and gave us a firsthand look at how Hudson House executes events and the level of service they provide. The food was absolutely outstanding, and our guests are still talking about it weeks later. One of the things that made our wedding feel extra special was having the second-floor room available for cocktail hour instead of the overlook above the reception space. While both spaces are beautiful, having a completely separate floor created such an incredible guest experience. Many guests thought the cocktail hour space was the reception itself, only to be amazed when they discovered there was another floor for dinner and dancing, followed by the Stork Club for the after-party. Everyone loved the progression of the evening and how each part of the celebration had its own unique space. The cocktail hour was truly next level. We received countless compliments about the amount of food and the variety of stations. Guests repeatedly told us they had never seen so many options at a wedding. One detail that made a huge impact was having our signature his-and-hers drinks already waiting for guests as they entered cocktail hour. People loved being able to grab a drink immediately instead of standing in line at the bar, and it was one of the most complimented touches of the night. What impressed us most, though, was the service. Every single staff member was warm, friendly, attentive, and accommodating. If a guest needed something, it was handled immediately. The professionalism and hospitality were truly exceptional. A special thank you goes to Maya, my bridal attendant, who was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She was by my side all day, constantly making sure I had water, checking on me, helping me stay hydrated, and ensuring I had everything I needed. She even helped clean the dirt off the train of my dress after photos. Maya was calm, thoughtful, diligent, and genuinely cared about making my day perfect. Before we left, she made sure all of our belongings were packed and organized, and she carefully packed up the food and cake I requested to take home since I knew I probably wouldn't get a chance to eat much during the wedding. Thanks to her, we were able to enjoy so many of the amazing dishes once we got back to our hotel. Gabriel was equally incredible throughout the night. Anytime I noticed something that needed attention, no matter how small, he addressed it immediately. Knowing he was there overseeing everything allowed us to relax and fully enjoy our wedding day. Hudson House delivered beyond our wildest dreams. The venue is stunning, the food is phenomenal, the service is unmatched, and the entire team genuinely cares about creating an unforgettable experience. Everything ran so smoothly that we were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment. The only downside is that the day goes by way too fast. We honestly wish we could do it all over again. We cannot recommend Hudson House enough.”

“We could not have asked for a better experience with Maritime Parc for our wedding. From the very first planning meetings through the last moment of our wedding day, their team was incredibly accommodating, attentive, and professional. The meetings leading up to our wedding were extremely helpful. As details came together and timing and logistics continued to evolve, the team was always willing to talk things through and accommodate where they could. Maritime Parc is clearly a well-oiled machine — they do a lot of weddings, and understandably, some things have an established way of being done. But what impressed me was that even within that structure, they never made us feel like “just another wedding.” They found ways to make our experience feel personal and special while still keeping everything running efficiently. I especially want to recognize Priscilla, who technically was not even our day-of coordinator, but somehow became so much more than that to us and our family. My dad is… particular, to put it very nicely , and had a million questions, requests, and concerns throughout the planning process. Priscilla handled every single one with incredible patience, kindness, and professionalism. At some point, she was basically his therapist, point person, and honorary member of the family all in one. She went so far above and beyond what we ever expected, and she was there with us throughout the entire wedding day to make sure everything went smoothly. Having someone we trusted that much there with us made such a difference. And then the wedding day itself was absolutely seamless. Every transition was precise and perfectly timed, from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception. Our bridal attendant was an absolute fairy godmother — she anticipated everything I could possibly need before I even had to ask. Even something as small as coordinating exactly when the doors would open for my walk down the aisle was handled flawlessly. There was never a moment where I felt like I had to worry about what was happening behind the scenes. Everything was top notch: the service, the food, the staff, the attention to detail, and especially the level of care they gave us and our families. You spend so much time planning a wedding and worrying about all of the little things, and Maritime Parc gave us the gift of being able to actually enjoy our wedding day because we knew everything was in good hands. It is obvious that this team knows exactly what they are doing, but somehow they still made us feel like our wedding was uniquely important to them — even knowing that ours was one of so many weddings they put on. That combination of experience, organization, flexibility, and genuine personal care is what made Maritime Parc so special to us. We are so grateful to the entire Maritime Parc team, and especially Priscilla, for making our wedding feel so personal and so incredibly well cared for. We would recommend Maritime Parc to anyone looking for a venue that will not only execute your wedding beautifully, but will genuinely take care of you and your family along the way.”

“We booked The Sanctuary as our venue back in 2023 when they were just re-opening, and we have zero regrets! Every New Yorker should have this place on its radar! The very first day we were there with Fonsi, we knew we were in good hands! Everything was perfect: the pier set-up for the ceremony, the open bar, grazing table and passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour and finally the dessert table and pizza stations for the after party. The food was AMAZING and cooked on-site so it was as fresh as it can be! And then they seamlessly cleared out the cocktail area and transformed it into the dancefloor while we were all enjoying our dinner buffet in a separate tented pavillion. Shout out to Amelia, Frank, Artur, Cat, and the rest of their wonderful team!”

September tops the charts for wedding inquiries here, so you'll want to plan ahead if you're eyeing a date during peak season. The varied landscapes mean you can find everything from waterfront elegance to historic charm without traveling far.

What Types of Wedding Venues Can You Find in New Jersey?

The venue scene in New Jersey covers just about every style imaginable. Luxury estates like Park Chateau in East Brunswick offer stunning French-inspired architecture with gorgeous European gardens that make for incredible photo backdrops. If water views are your thing, places like Liberty House showcase breathtaking NYC skyline panoramas right alongside the water. History buffs fall in love with venues like Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange with its historic grounds and Mediterranean gardens. Modern couples gravitate toward industrial spaces such as The Art Factory in Paterson where contemporary design meets character and uniqueness.

How Much Should You Budget for a New Jersey Wedding?

Wedding venues in New Jersey typically run between $8,600 and $10,600, which falls right in line with the national range of $6,500-$12,000. Your overall costs will scale with your guest count.
