“Peter was absolutely fabulous as a day of wedding coordinator! I was having a hard time finding someone in my price range who could conceptualize my ski wedding ceremony dream, but Peter came through for me! Our ceremony went off without a hitch because he helped manage people on the mountain for us. For the reception I asked Peter to be 100% in charge of decor design and setup, and he exceeded my expectations. He has a plethora of classy reception decor that you get to use as part of his package, saving you money, time, and reducing waste. He coordinated a late night pizza delivery for us, and even helped take home items we didn’t want to deal with that night, so we could leave without asking family to help. Peter was irreplaceable from design through execution, and allowed us to relax and enjoy our evening. I would 100% hire Peter again!”

“I had spent an entire year planning my dream wedding and hired Lily as a Day of Coordinator. I am a CPA so as you can imagine, I am very type A. But I had zero hesitation turning things over to Lily! I could tell instantly she had experience in the industry and knew what she was doing. She thought of everything! I can’t forget to mention I planned my Montana wedding from Texas, so it’s tricky to know what the final product would be, but she made sure my vision came to life! Hansen Weddings and Events was so thorough and took the time to truly understand what I wanted the big day to look like. Not only did she help me find some last minute vendors while I was still in Texas, but she guided the rehearsal the night before, helped set up the morning of the wedding, coordinated with all my vendors, instructed the bridal party, guided the guests, and handled some craaaazy weather. It was a warm sunny day until about 10 minutes before the ceremony, it dropped (what felt like) 20 degrees, had high winds, and even started sleeting during our vows. It calmed quickly and a rainbow appeared 30 mins later, but at the time it was hectic. We weren’t sure how much it would progress but Lily worked fast to get the cocktail hour moved, get the vendors re-situated, guide the guests to the new space, and even bring my husband and me a plate of food!! There were a couple hiccups with vendors as the night progressed, but she was quick to resolve them before I even had a chance to think twice about it! She was the perfect balance of warmth and kindness while also being direct and making sure everything stayed on track. When there were times we wanted to move around schedules or step away, she encouraged us and worked in the background to make it happen! All in all, it was a great experience working with her. I am so glad I was able to hand over all those details and just enjoy the day with my husband. I highly recommend Hansen Weddings and Events!!!”

While she wasn't technically our wedding planner (we chose to not hire one)- she absolutely filled that role and so much more, helping us create a personalized and unforgettable wedding night. From our very first call, Kimberley was warm, excited and genuinely interested in hearing our vision. Her experience in the event space was clear from the start. She helped us plan every detail- from celebratory champagne while getting ready, to beautiful florals (including my dream bouquet, which she made), coordinating all rentals through her vendors, and even picking up our wedding cake. After our Oregon coast ceremony, we had appetizers and a private chef dinner at our airbnb for our 14 guests- and the food experience was truly unforgettable. Kimberley's chef and sous chef, were incredible! The chef built a thoughtful, elegant menu that felt perfectly tailored to the setting and the occasion. Appetizers included fresh oysters, shrimp cocktail and ceviche- all beautifully prepared and displayed. Dinner was perfectly cooked steak, butter garlic mashed potatoes, tender asparagus and scallops, paired with a curated selection of local OR wines. Every dish was crafted with care and brought a sense of luxury and warmth to the evening. The chef and sous chef not only prepared everything to perfection but were also professional, friendly and seamlessly integrated into the flow of the night. The tablescape that Kimberley created was another unforgettable highlight- elegant, timeless and even more beautiful than what we imagined. It brought everything together in the most stunning way. Communication throughout the planning process was consistent and reassuring, especially because we live in Colorado and the wedding weekend took place in Oregon. Kimberley regularly checked in to make sure every detail aligned with our vision and because of her thoroughness and care, we felt completely at ease leading into the big weekend. On the day of, her team executed everything with precision and heart. They were warm, attentive, and brought such a calm, grounding energy to the space. Everything was timed perfectly and we were free to enjoy the experience of getting married without any stress. We truly can't thank Kimberley, Chef Michael, and the team enough! “Working with Afton and her team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We started planning about a year and a half out, and Afton helped us pace every step of the process, from what vendors to book when to which decisions could wait until later. My venue was very DIY, but her organization kept me sane and made the planning experience feel manageable and enjoyable. Her vendor recommendations were spot on. We ended up hiring our photographer, bar service, DJ, and decor team based on her suggestions, and every one of them was fantastic. Communication was always easy and clear; Afton was responsive, calm, and solution-oriented whenever we had questions or changes. In the month leading up to the wedding, Afton truly shined. She took over vendor communications, finalized timelines, and coordinated every last detail. Our venue even commented that it was the most organized wedding they had all season. On the day itself, Afton and her team made sure everything ran flawlessly. They checked in with us throughout the day to ensure we were comfortable, happy, and able to soak in each moment, while keeping every detail in its place behind the scenes. Wedding Expectations

“I worked with Wedding Expectations for both planning and floral services for our wedding in Park City, UT and had a great experience across both services, I would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding in Utah! Planning - Samantha was fantastic at helping us plan and execute our wedding. She was timely in her communication throughout the entire process - she always responded to my emails within 1-2 days and was always available to jump on a call to talk about whatever I needed to discuss. I also thought all of the vendors she recommended were very high quality, which was critical for us because we were planning this wedding from out of state. She is also detail oriented and calm, which are two qualities that are critical for this job! On the day of our wedding, Samantha took care of everything in terms of vendor arrivals, set up, and tear down. She even handed out blankets to our guests when it started to get chilly in the evening! Floral - I was extremely impressed with the florals that Wedding Expectations did for us. The style that I requested was somewhat unique and was a bit different from most of the pictures that Wedding Expectations had on their website (less greenery than normal and somewhat whimsical, for example). Despite the more unique design, the W.E. team really listened to what I was looking for and executed wonderfully. Rebecca also made some suggestions during the design process about certain flower types to add and remove which also really improved the outcome. Lastly, when it was raining during our wedding day set up, the W.E. team ensured the outdoor flowers were not damaged.”
