They really care about their clients and want them to have the best photos possible. During the wedding, Heather would always make sure I was comfortable by giving me flattering poses and pointing her portable fan at me when I was too hot from dancing at the reception, ha! “I couldn’t be happier with my experience working with Ali! She reached out to me on Zola and I am so glad she did. I was impressed with her portfolio and I really loved seeing how she would capture little moments in the weddings she had done. We set up a video call before booking and we clicked. She is very calm and helped with my pre-wedding nerves. She worked with us on a payment plan and she was always very quick to respond to any of my questions. She really listened to what we wanted. She got to the venue early to scout out different shots and came to check in with me a couple of times before we even began taking photos, which I did not expect but was very sweet and considerate of her. When we were taking photos, she really helped to guide the more “posed” photos but she also captured a lot of beautiful candid moments. “We hired Steven and his team to do our wedding photos and videography. I really wanted a photographer that could capture the soul of the event, and Steven did exactly that. His photos are full of life, and I shared so many portraits with guests that actually got printed out or posted online. If you're looking for hundreds of photos of your wedding party that look exactly the same and for every planned second to be documented, Steven is not your person. If you're looking to hit the big moments but focus on capturing raw moments with timeless photos to get framed, I couldn't recommend them more. I never thought I would get a wedding video because it always seemed cheesy to me. But after watching examples of his work I fell absolutely in love with his videos. I've honestly had a hard time watching ours because it evokes so much emotion. Steven was collaborative and willing to go with the flow. We gave him the difficult task of being prepared for 3 different locations with totally differing lighting (indoor/outdoor plus shooting from high sun into the night). He puts an immense amount of care into his work and the photos are truly art that we will cherish forever. If there are specific things you want covered, be sure to share a list. When it comes to capturing the moments that can't be planned, he is on the case!”

“From the moment I inquired with Dakota, she was prompt. We instantly jumped on a call and we literally talked for a hour! I instantly knew she was going to be our photographer! Throughout the planning process, she consistently reached out to check in. Her thoughtful and uplifting voice messages were such a light midst the stresses of wedding planning. I would get so excited when I saw her name pop up on my phone, her bubbly personality and genuine care in her messages meant everything to us!! Our engagement photo day was a scorcher--95 degrees and pure sun!! But Dakota made the absolute best of it, even as we took breaks to cool down. Despite the sweat and crazy heat, our photos turned our magazine worthy--seriously stunning!! In the weeks leading up to the wedding she checked in almost daily, which was so reassuring. Her online website and questionnaire were very thorough and incredibly helpful. At one point, I even called her to vent about a difficult wedding situation (that had nothing to do with her), and she listened and reassured me through it all! We fell a bit behind due to hair and makeup, and she continued to reassure me that we would be just fine. Her photography style is absolutely stunning, with great attention to detail that captured every important moment for us. We received our sneak peeks just a day or two after the wedding which was one of my favorite memories ever!!-- getting to reminisce on the stunning photos with my now husband on our first day of our honeymoon. It meant the world to us! The full gallery was delivered within the timeframe discussed in our contract as promised, I even had a few questions about different angles and additional photos and she delivered on all of my requests. Her gallery website was very easy to use and share. Overall we had a 1000/10 experience with having Dakota as our wedding photographer. “Olivia and Brian are THE BEST. I am not someone who likes their photo taken and not only did they make it painless, they made it fun. They created the best environment and vibe for our elopement, and were such huge supports leading up to it. My husband was on active duty during the planning and OB were the perfect sounding boards and expert advisors. They also put us at ease with including our rescue dogs, as they had ample experience with them and were more than happy to include them as much as possible. Brian officiated our ceremony as well and the interview he did with us to customize it to exactly US made it magical. OB will be taking every photo-op for us from now on. I cannot recommend them enough, photographers for awkward people 10/10.”
