Hi! Phil Koehler, here. I am an out-going introvert, who lives to provide a remarkable photography experience to my clients. When I'm not behind a camera, you can find me either treasure hunting at a local thrift shop or estate sale, hiking in the woods, or paddling on the Wisconsin River. I fell in love with Wedding Photography after shooting a friend's wedding back in 2017. Being able to capture the important moments for my clients, is an honor and joy that I truly cherish.

Life can be stressful. Booking and working with a photographer, shouldn't be. We're honored when someone connects with our work and decides to reach out. We will always respond, even if we are not available for your wedding date, because that is the KIND thing to do. I want your experience to be positive and memorable. Although I can’t change the weather on your wedding day, I can fluff your dress, fix your tie, hold your bouquet, find Uncle Earl for the family photo, grab you a beer, and most importantly help you to relax and have fun in front of the camera.

    We found Phil through Zola. Right off the bat Phil was very responsive and professional. I really appreciated the guide he helped with ahead of our wedding so that we could ensure we got all the photos we wanted on our big day. Phil arrived on time the day of the wedding, worked great with our videographer and even stayed later than we originally asked him to. Phil's photos from our wedding were stunning and the turn around time was quick. We are so lucky we found Phil and so glad he was able to capture our big day. Thank you, Phil!

    We actually came across Phil's work on another wedding website - so I want to make sure other couples using Zola see a more recent review(: Phil knocked our wedding out of the park! He captured so many special moments for us throughout the day, and was a great communicator referencing our shot list and making sure we were comfortable all day long. His wife attended and was a ton of help assisting with our large bridal party (and I've heard that's every photographer's nightmare, ha). Not only did he excel at the job, but had 3 weddings in a row during our weekend - and it did not impact an ounce of quality. (Which goes to show how good he is.) His photos were easily accessible, and he had a quick turnaround of a few weeks following our ceremony. We also used him for engagement photos, and those were an even quicker turn! So glad we found Phil and looked into his work more. Such an incredible photographer!

    Phil and Jess did a phenomenal job with our engagement and wedding photos. Very creative and fun. We could not be happier with the photos we received, as well as the amount!!
