Planning a destination wedding in Cairo, Egypt came with its fair share of complexities. We had guests traveling from all over the world and were trying to blend three cultures - Lebanese, Egyptian, and American. In Egypt, most wedding planners focus only on décor and receptions, so I found myself struggling with the schedule and flow of logistics beyond that. There were so many moving parts - the ceremony, the bridal party, the reception - and I didn’t have a planner or a day-of coordinator to help me execute the day smoothly. Alex stepped in and became my anchor. She gathered every detail and built an hour-by-hour plan that carried us through the day, from getting ready to the end of the night. That included the procession of the church ceremony, the musical cues, the reception entrance order, the dj song list order, etc. She helped me create breakout schedules to give to each vendor so they all knew what part of the day mattered for them to take part in. Alex brought so much understanding and cultural awareness to our wedding. She respected the way that weddings are done in Egypt, Lebanon, and America, and helped me blend certain moments from each tradition into our wedding. Every special moment flowed. My husband and I had a completely different vision and our date was originally scheduled for May 2026 in Orange County but due to unfortunate circumstances we decided to pull in our date to Monday, November 3, 2025 to Santa Barbara. We made our change of plans late August and I found Rachel (Emerald Events LA) through Zola. After our phone consultation and explaining our situation to her, we decided to move forward with her because of her excellent communication and willingness to tackle our day with 2 months to plan. We had our ceremony at the Santa Barbara Courthouse in the Mural Room and our reception was at Arnoldi's Cafe. From the start, expectations were laid flat and communication was consistent and clear. Anytime I had a question, needed feedback / sounding board, or someone to vent to, Rachel was my wedding bestie. She made herself available, is an excellent buffer and facilitator, and she was highly professional and personable. Emerald Events LA went above and beyond - not only did she make this accelerated planning feel enjoyable, she also provided excellent wedding cake / dessert and florist recommendations. We appreciate her attention to detail and her ability to adapt to the hiccups of the day. She has an emergency bag filled with treasure troves to ensure we had what we needed for getting ready, securing items, whatever else we needed for the day, etc. Rachel developed a timeline that worked well for our vendors, facilitated and worked out the kinks in our rehearsal for an excellent ceremony execution. She ensured our reception (restaurant space) was set up and managed the vendors who joined us for dinner. We are extremely grateful for Emerald Events LA / Rachel and we couldn't be happier!

I need space for more than 5 stars! Oh Julia, from the bottom of our hearts we can not thank you enough for giving us the most perfect and memorable ceremony. The ceremony portion of the wedding day was very important to me so we did a lot of research on a professional that would make the ceremony so special and marry us. From the beginning of our meeting, Julia was professional, on time, kind and very thorough in explaining everything. We had the opportunity to customize our ceremony to the T. Of course we used Julia's base for the ceremony but we also added a lasso component to it and had it be bilingual. My husband really liked adding in "Hasta que la muerte nos separe." and I really liked adding in a moment of prayer after the lasso ceremony. JULIA never told us no. She was always positive, provided insight and provided many options. EVEN the option to choose her outfit to go with our wedding colors and theme. After the wedding ceremony... I received so many comments from different friends and my bridal party on Julia " where did you find your officiant?" "She looked so stunning" " Your officiant was very graceful and treated us nicely when looking for the rings and vow books" " I was surprised she spoke Spanish so well" Having Julia as our officiant made everything 10x better. Her voice is soothing and she takes the right amount of pauses in the speeches and really allows you to soak in the moment. Her voice is crisp, calm and she kept things interesting. WE ARE SOOO HAPPY JULIA MARRIED US! I only have positive things to say and bear in mind, I myself am on year 7 as a wedding vendor in the wedding industry... Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. On the day of, McKenna and her team were so efficient and handled everything so that my husband and I could relax and focus on ourselves. We got to our venue and everything was already done and ready to start the day! McKenna was amazing at time management throughout the day, and she was so helpful to not only us, but our families, wedding party and guests as well. Everything went perfectly on schedule and all the crazy ideas that we had came to life with no issues! It was truly the best day of our lives and it wouldn’t have been possible without McKenna’s help! I could write so much more on how incredible Events by McKenna is, but to sum it all up, they are the best choice for your wedding planning and coordinating needs and you will not regret choosing them for your big day!!

We were so lucky and honored to have Crystal Rose Events for event coordination on our wedding day. Jesse and her team were amazing! We used them for month/day of coordination and photography of our wedding. I have nothing but great things to say about their work ethic, attention to detail, fast/clear communication and upbeat attitudes. Jesse was always there when I needed her and was fast to help me with any questions or needs I had. Jesse and Julia helped run my special day and they were on top of everything! I didn’t feel pulled in 100 directions trying to get things just the way I wanted it, because they had it locked down. This made it to where I was able to enjoy my night. AND THE DECORATION…. I could not be happier with Tavi & Hun Events as my wedding planner! I don’t even have the words for how impressed we were (and still are) with the work she put into our wedding but I’m going to try! She had a big challenge ahead of her with planning the first full-scale wedding at an unconventional venue (the movie theater/video store Vidiots) and she not only took on the challenge, we could tell that she was excited to do so. She was enthusiastic & excited for our wedding, and came to us with really helpful advice and ideas and that really makes a world of difference! Tavi has a lot of great vendor partners, many of which we ended up using, and she was great at handling communication & details with any new vendors she hadn’t worked with before. Honestly, if there were any challenges or bumps along the way, we had no clue, and that’s exactly what a good wedding and event planner should do - make the event go seamlessly and stress-free for the couple. A month later and we’re STILL getting compliments from our friends & family about how special and fun our wedding was, and we owe so much of that to Tavi and her impeccable organization and planning. The day itself went off without a hitch! I’ve been telling everyone that hiring Tavi was the best money we spent on the wedding, and that’s absolutely true.
