Our historic farmhouses ​ ​are gorgeously appointed sanctuaries for you and your family, sleeping up to 40 guests. The property is ideally situated “off the beaten path" with magnificent views of the Catskill Mountains stretching endlessly to the south, enveloping guests with a feeling of true serenity. Plattekill Mountain offers an intimate outdoor mountaintop ceremony location with pristine, panoramic views. You and your guests can ride by chair lift to the custom-built wedding ceremony deck and back down for a cocktail hour on the beautiful wrap-around lodge deck. The lodge deck features gorgeous valley views, portable deck heaters, a covered pergola bar, and two fire pits, perfect for toasting S’mores. This ample space includes large windows, cathedral ceilings, romantic party lighting, and a dance floor for guests to dance the night away. Further facilities include a private bridal suite for you and your close friends to relax and prepare for the festivities ahead.

Hello! We're Natalie and Aldo, the couple behind Silas House Inn and Barn. Silas House is a historic dairy farm and house in the Catskill Mountains of New York. The home has lived many lives and in summer 2024, we reopened it as a boutique B&B. The Barn is 5,000 sqft of event space with the lower barn fully renovated and staged for your next event. The upper lofted barn will see further modernization in Spring 2024 and is the perfect reception and indoor ceremony space. Behind the barn is two acres of sprawling lawn including raised bed gardens and mountain views. We're so excited to share Silas with couples in 2025 and beyond!
