Wendy turned what could've been a disaster into a dream wedding! We made the mistake of thinking we could plan our own wedding, and booked a venue on our own. We quickly got overwhelmed with everything else and hired Wendy; she took one look at our venue contract and advised us to reconsider -- we were going to double or triple our total budget by bringing in all the amenities that the venue *didn't* have. With only 3.5 months before The Big Day, we had to pivot! She used her vast contact list and knowledge of area venues to find us the perfect venue - we viewed it and contracted it within the week. We had a lot of unique elements in mind; she helped us retrofit them from the original venue into the new one, so we were still able to have the wedding we'd always imagined. No idea was too big or too wild; she was always confident it could be done. She responded within minutes to any communication, no matter the day or time. Her years of experience shown through -- she always was able to advise us or provide a solution. And with such a short timeline to pull everything together, she kept us on track and honest without adding to our anxiety, remaining positive and helping us keep the end goal in mind: OUR day! I genuinely cannot emphasize enough how incredible Abby was. If you’re looking for a coordinator, this is your girl!! I booked Abby for her day of coordinator services and I added on an extra to help me with my room block and transportation. I would do it a million times over!! Abby executed my vision perfectly, and my wedding day was flawless because of her. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing all day because Abby and her team took care of literally everything but also kept me updated throughout the process so I wasn’t freaking out wondering what was happening. We had just moved to Pittsburgh when we started planning and knew nothing about which vendors to use or even which venue to pick. Rachel made our lives so much easier by setting up tours of venues and finding us something that matched our vision and met our needs. Throughout the entire planning process, she was always available to answer questions and offer guidance. She kept everything organized on a Google Drive that we had access to and she was always available via email or text. Her knowledge of vendors in the Pittsburgh area was so impressive. Every vendor she recommended received a 5-star review. I cannot sing Emma’s praises enough!!! We hired Emma as a month-of coordinator and are fully convinced she is the sole reason our wedding went off without a hitch! We had over 200 people and our ceremony was at a different location from our reception—no small undertaking—and from the moment we started working together, we knew our wedding was in good hands. Emma is extremely organized and has the perfect demeanor for this type of work. When I was actively pulling my hair out with stress (and a venue that was less than forthcoming about a conflict with our event space), Emma stepped up and made sure everything went smoothly, all while remaining calm, cool and collected. Elizabeth at E&A Events was the PERFECT solution! I engaged her right away and used her Day of Coordination package which was honestly SO affordable and SO MUCH help to me and to the bride. She worked with us in preparing for the wedding, solved all of our concerns and unknowns as she is so familiar with weddings and how things “should go” and what pitfalls to be aware of.  She was very flexible and all about working with my daughter’s vision for the wedding day, including helping with updates to timelines etc. On the day of, even though the venue provided a “coordinator”, it was so necessary to have someone there who was all about me as the mother of the bride and all about the bride and her day.  Elizabeth was all over the venue throughout the ceremony and reception, making sure things were being handled and staying on track with our wishes;  if there was any issue, she was on it and this allowed me to relax and enjoy the day! Hands down - the best part of the entire support that Elizabeth provided was offered AFTER the event ended;  she stayed long after and made sure that all the centerpieces were broken down and all of the decor was stashed away in one place so we could easily go pick it up the following day.  And this was packing up centerpieces with 28 floating candles on two separate floors — I was having nightmares of having to empty all those vases, but Elizabeth made it so easy! She is friendly, organized and persistent — there is no reason whatsoever to not invest in her support for your wedding or any event — but especially a wedding … this one day can be so expensive - she ensures that nothing goes wrong and you can just enjoy your special day.  HIGHLY recommend her!

That was so important and special to us. She and her assistant handled all of our wedding day chaos with the utmost grace ensuring our day went off without a hitch.
