“Bennie DJ’d our wedding and we were extremely pleased, from the start of the planning process, all the way through to the big day! When we initially met with Bennie, he gave us a blueprint that allowed us to share our thoughts and vision (for example, we wanted music, karaoke, and I also wanted to sing/play violin during the ceremony). From there, he collaborated with us, providing excellent suggestions, based on his previous experiences. He also reviewed the schedule and logistics with us, to make sure all the necessary equipment was mapped out. Our sound setup was perfect for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He kept the energy high, and it was clear that guests felt comfortable approaching him to make music requests during the reception, too! Throughout the entire day, he read the crowd and knew exactly when it was the right time for karaoke, upbeat songs, slower songs, etc. Our wedding was a blast... largely in part to Bennie’s talent and expertise! From the beginning, we felt confident that he understood the kind of night we wanted. Our music taste was all over the map — traditional Chinese music, ’90s emo, K-pop, country, and classic wedding dance floor staples — and Dan somehow made it all feel cohesive. “My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “We had such a great experience working with 3 West Productions, especially Phillip. From the beginning, the conversations felt like the perfect balance of professional and personal, which made the entire process so comfortable. Phillip truly became my go to person for everything, and that meant more than I can put into words. I also really appreciated my first conversation with the owner. I felt genuinely seen and heard, and I loved learning about how the company started and the heart behind it. I am very picky when it comes to music, and Phillip absolutely exceeded our expectations. The live mixing was incredible, and you could tell how skilled he is.
