“Top Hat Entertainment was an excellent choice for our DJ services for our wedding! Mike and the team made it easy to figure out what we needed, were very responsive via email and phone, and made all the sound mixing flawless for our ceremony and reception, which was no easy feat as it was at two different locations. Our wedding planner said Top Hat was the only DJ she could recommend and noted that they were extremely professional, did not try to overtake the reception and party, and were easy to work with. We found that all to be the case. Their rates were reasonable for DJing services and we ended up also booking their magic mirror Photo Booth which our guests enjoyed and a projector to display a slideshow. It was nice to be able to customize the output of the Photo Booth to add our wedding logo and information. The projector and Photo Booth were more expensive than we would have liked especially compared to the DJ services but they both went flawlessly. Our DJ was the owner Mike, who we loved and would highly recommend. He was super friendly, wanted to answer any questions we had, had a questionnaire for us to fill out ahead of time to ensure he had everything he needed for the ceremony and reception. He had lavaliere microphones for our officiants, a standing microphone for speakers during the ceremony which made it easy to hear for our guests. He also connected with a musician we hired to amplify his music as well. For the reception, he did a great job emceeing the reception, transitioning between toasts and cake cutting and then did a wonderful job with the dance music and kept the dance floor lively and fun! Everything was smooth, professional, and flawless, which is exactly what we had hoped for! We’d highly recommend Mike and Top Hat Entertainment for your Vermont wedding!”

“Having a violinist for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour was one of the best decisions that we made, and Sweet Harmony made it SO easy. They were communicative, professional, and had a platform that made choosing songs and getting organized a breeze. It was affordable as far as wedding add-ons goes and classed up the wedding, our guests were all excited and impressed. Our violinist was incredibly talented and added an incredible flair. We chose a hip hop theme he nailed it (classy but also super fun and energetic). My only regret is that we were so busy that we didn't get to stop and truly appreciate it as much as we should have. “The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

We used Bright Set for our wedding at Mountain View Grand in May 2026 and hired them for our DJ, photo booth, ceremony and reception audio, and piano music. From the very beginning, Cassandra was incredible to work with. We spent over a year planning together, and she was organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and always willing to hop on a call, answer questions, or help think through ideas. One thing that really stood out was how invested Cassandra was in making sure everything ran smoothly. She wasn't just someone behind the scenes coordinating logistics — she was actually onsite for our wedding day and felt like part of our team. Unfortunately, we experienced an unexpected fire alarm interruption immediately following our first dance that temporarily paused our reception and forced guests outside. Cassandra, alongside our day-of coordinator, immediately jumped into problem-solving mode. When we were finally able to return to the ballroom, she creatively had us reintroduced to "Fire Burning" by Sean Kingston, which turned a stressful situation into a funny and memorable moment that had everyone laughing. We were so grateful for her ability to stay calm, think quickly, and help keep the energy positive. DJ Dennis was fantastic and kept the dance floor packed all night. He did an amazing job reading the room and creating a fun atmosphere for guests of all ages. The photo booth was a huge hit as well. Guests loved the glow booth and the customized photo overlay, and we ended up with so many great keepsakes from the night. Entertainment-wise, everything was seamless. The ceremony audio, microphones, piano music, reception flow, DJ services, and photo booth were all executed beautifully. “BOOK. THIS. BAND. You will not regret it. We booked a solo violin for the ceremony, 3 piece jazz trio for cocktail hour, and a 7 piece band for the reception. Silver Arrow Band brought all the energy and more to our wedding. They followed our do's and don'ts perfectly and were great at reading the crowd. I am not exaggerating when I say that every single guest told us that Silver Arrow Band was the best wedding band they’ve ever seen. Guests were mad that they didn’t have them at their own wedding. “Alan C was easy and great to work with! We had a music range from Bad Bunny, Creed, The Killers and more! We shared with him a playlist of some of our favorite songs, a list of "do not play" whether they were styles of music, artists or specific songs and a "must play" list. His online forum was easy to navigate and use. We loved the uplighting and the audio guestbook (phone)!! Also I appreciate that he read and followed through with all the small notes we left for him (specifically we asked for father/daughter, mother/son and first dance to end after the chorus and not play the entire 3-4 minutes). Such a great time. We received so many compliments on our music and the dance floor was busy all night long! He was always very responsive and quick to work with any last minute changes (we had a rainy day).”

“We’ve been big fans of the O-Tones for many years. We wanted to hire the full six-piece band, but our small venue -an outdoor pavilion-could not accommodate that. Mary Witt, band leader and outstanding vocalist, suggested a duo, herself on bass and guitarist John Caban. Their repertoire included swing, R&B, classic rock and soul. They were very flexible and professional. We chose as our first dance the Etta James classic “At Last”. (We are in our 70’s!!!) “Vibrant was fantastic for our March wedding. They brought amazing energy and class to our event, and guests are still raving about them a month later. The dance floor was packed for the entire evening. Lauren and Marlon are a dynamite lead-singing duo, and the instrumentalists are each incredibly talented. Justin was very responsive and easy to connect with leading up to the day, and accommodated all of our requests and needs with ease. They were also very helpful with recommendations based on extensive experience, and even allowed the bride's sister to play their keyboard for the ceremony, which was an over-and-above request they did not have to agree to. Overall can't recommend this group enough!”
