“Jessica was truly amazing to work with for our wedding day. From the very first time we spoke, Jessica had a sweet and attentive communication style that immediately put us at ease. I remember after our first virtual meeting her even sending a little thank you gift for meeting with her. And she was so kind, she asked so many questions and seemed genuinely interested about us as a couple and about our dogs! I spoke with some other photographers who seemed to care less about us as people. Which is ultimately why we went with Jessica to begin with, she was just so nice and her pictures were amazing to top it all off. For our engagement shoot we suffered through some of the hottest, awful, sticky, July weather and she was positive the entire time, managed to get amazing shots and deal with our crazy dogs! Before the wedding, Jessica was always easily reachable, and very on the ball. And will always be your biggest cheerleader, anytime I posted anything on Instagram, Jessica would be there celebrating, she is truly a delightful and genuine person! And I think her run through of the wedding day was the first one I got and it was perfect! And she went to the venue a week before the wedding to scope out the absolute perfect spots to take photos! On the day of the wedding, Jessica was able to calmly get every picture perfect, meanwhile making silly dad jokes to help us feel more relaxed in front of the camera. She was amazing at trying to calm down our crying moms, and giving us some moments just to ourselves, listening to literally everything we said, and always making sure we were okay, all while getting amazing shots! And all of our guests loved her! We had people reaching out during and after the wedding to tell us how wonderful Jessica was. Everyone was obsessed with her, both of our mom, my sister, my bridesmaids, even the best man kept talking about how great she was, how amazing everything went, and how nice she was with everything! Meanwhile I am sure it was like trying to her cats to get some of the photos together, especially when we both wanted huge extended family photos, but she was positive and amazing through it all! Jessica went above and beyond on our special day, making sure everything was perfect. I am sure I even missing some of the little touches she added to our wedding. And we are so grateful to have had her as our wedding photographer. She says on her website “YOU CAN CALL ME JESS (SHE/HER). “Lisa was hands down one of my top vendors for my September 2024 wedding. Ultimately when booking vendors we had two non- negotiables- affordability and character. I met with several photographers before her and either their pricing was not within our range or I didn’t feel any “connection” with them. When I met Lisa over FaceTime I was in Target with my two toddlers because I had my schedule mixed up. She laughed about it and we were able to have a productive meeting despite the mix up. I hired Lisa not long after and I am so glad I did. Besides from being a phenomenal photographer, her personality is what put the cherry on top. She is detail oriented and assertive - like myself- and had a very efficient way of photographing our bridal party where we were even able to enjoy our cocktail hour without having a first look. She was excellent and extremely patient with our two kids. Our family loved her as did we! We were even able to get her out on the dance floor for a bit! We wish we didn’t live so far away otherwise we would be using her as our photographer a whole lot. “We don't even know where to begin singing Erica's praises. When she says "Client Friend" she really means it. This is exactly how she treated us from our very first Zoom meeting with her. When we had to find a new venue due to issues with the first one, Erica was so reassuring that it would all work out and she even offered to send me full galleries of all the venues we were considering. When I forgot to put my engagement ring on before our engagement shoot (!!!!) she encouraged us to go back for it and told us not to worry about the timing. And on our wedding day, the second she saw me start to get stressed during family portraits, she stepped in with the most perfectly timed pep talk. Not to mention, she and Amanda (another Sweet Alice team member) managed to make rain on our wedding day such a special adventure that I wouldn't trade it for sunshine even if I could!
