My name is Julia, and I know all about what you’re going through (wedding planning that is). I am also recently engaged! In case we haven't met before, let me tell you a little bit about myself! My favorite band is Panic! At The Disco, my favorite show in the world right now is Schitt’s Creek, and I have a cat named Cricket, who is my entire world! I am known for my candid, romantic, and artistic photography with a hint of modernity. My ultimate goal is to show the, love, beauty, strength and enthusiasm of people through my photos. I feel so fortunate to be located in the Hudson Valley. It’s truly one of the the best places to get married!

Even though I went to college for Veterinary Science, I’ve always been a creative person. I grew up drawing, painting, sculpting, etc, you name it! I started photography shortly after graduating as a creative outlet, and instantly fell in love. I hadn’t felt so passionate about something other than animals is such a long time, and it felt great! I decided to put my second passion to use, and now I get to capture the most important day of peoples lives! How cool is that! I am not just here to deliver “pretty photos”. I am here to bring out the unfiltered love that you have for one another, so you have genuine memories you can look back on.

    Julia is truly a magician with the camera! She worked with us for our engagement photos and on our wedding day - all of the photos left us speechless and just overcome with emotion! She has a special talent for capturing the small sentimental moments that you think happen too fast to be captured! She worked so incredibly with our dog as well. She’s allowed us to re-live our wedding day over and over. We haven’t stopped looking at the photos since we got them. Not to mention she had sneak peek photos ready for us less than 24 hours after our wedding day! The whole process from start to finish working with Julia was seamless, stress-free, and fun! She’s a one of a kind wedding vendor.

    There are so many lovely things to be said about Julia. Her photos of our wedding took my breath away! From the first intro call, Julia was pleasant to work with. Talking with her was so easy, like we were already friends with her! Throughout planning, Julia was always responsive, flexible, and made it easy for us to provide the information she would need for the day to run smoothly. She even helped us map out the timeline of the day. My husband and I are not the most comfortable in front of the camera, but her photographing style was very natural and helped put us at ease. Our pictures came out so beautifully – I really feel like they capture organic moments of joy and love between us. I can’t thank Julia enough for the incredible work she did - I know we will cherish these photos for a lifetime!

    We are so happy we chose Julia to be our wedding photographer! We knew she was talented from her portfolio but she really blew us away once we saw our sneak peaks from our wedding day! We loved how we were able to get to know Julia prior to our wedding day during our complimentary engagement photoshoot. Throughout the months leading up to our wedding, Julia and I grew close through interacting on social media, which made us so much more comfortable on the day of! I felt like she truly grew to knew us as a couple and was able to encapsulate our love story with her photography skills! She was able to guide us on what to do while still taking in our suggestions. From managing my crazy family during portraits to holding a food plate under my chin so I didn't get tacos all over my dress, she was there for us no matter what! She was truly meant to do this for a living and we wouldn’t of wanted anyone else to be our wedding photographer and spend our entire wedding day with! We love Julia!!
