Two Upper West Siders. Twenty blocks apart. How had we not crossed paths before? Or did we? Well, after finally matching on Hinge we made that happen and the rest is history! We have combined families and now as a family of 7 (three dogs, two cats) we have become an unstoppable force. We both share the same passion for photography, capturing the beauty all around us and making magic happen. Our dog Lucy, embodies love, kindness and poise. We couldn’t imagine naming our business after anyone but her. That’s how Love, Lucy Photography came to be.

    Choosing Love, Lucy Photography was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Their work is absolutely breathtaking, but beyond the beautiful images, they were an absolute joy to have around. Pre-Wedding & Communication: From the start, communication with Bethany and Raquel was excellent. They were professional, responsive, and organized. They shot a beautiful engagement package with us in Cold Spring, which we were able to use on our save the dates and our wedding website. They were also incredibly helpful with posing guidance during our engagement shoot, which made us feel much more comfortable on the actual wedding day. As the day approached closer, they helped us craft a timeline that ensured we got all the shots we wanted without feeling rushed. On the Wedding Day: Bethany and Raquel had a calm and fun presence that made the day feel relaxed. They managed to capture every key moment—the first look, the ceremony, the family portraits—efficiently and beautifully, and we barely noticed them during the reception, yet they captured the most spontaneous and joyful moments on the dance floor! They truly have an eye for capturing genuine emotion and gorgeous light. The Final Images: When we received our final gallery, we were speechless. The photos exceeded every expectation and came in a timing manner! We also requested a few film camera rolls as part of our package and those added a sense of magic to help us remember the day for years to come. We highly, highly recommend Love, Lucy Photography to anyone looking for a truly talented and fantastic team to capture their wedding.

    Love, Lucy Photography was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Their communication before, during, and after the wedding was very good, making the entire process painless. Raquel and Bethany, the photographers, took amazing photos throughout the day, capturing all the special moments with a creative and fun flair. They did an incredible job with the pictures, which were ready for us just two weeks after our wedding day.     From the moment we first reached out to Love, Lucy Photography, Bethany and Raquel were incredibly responsive, helpful, and friendly. Their communication style put us at ease throughout the entire wedding planning process. We knew we made the right decision when we met for our engagement session! On the day of our wedding, they went above and beyond to keep us calm and relaxed, allowing us to truly be present and soak in all the special moments. The quality of their work is outstanding - they captured the day in a way that brings us right back to the magic of that day whenever we look at the photos. We were thrilled that they were able to capture all the shots we requested, delivering the final gallery to us in a very timely manner (2 weeks!!).
