“Brandon was the perfect DJ for our wedding at the UC Berkeley Botanical Gardens! Our venue had multiple tricky constraints, including needing to break down all equipment immediately after each area was used. Other DJs told us that this venue was a nightmare for them in the past, but Brandon and his team had experience at the gardens and a plan for how to handle their particular rules. “Honestly I ended up choosing Sean as my DJ for the wedding because he was the nicest and the most communicative out of everyone I contacted. I thought he did an awesome job at helping me through the process. Sean even was pretty flexible when I kept missing my zoom appointment (sorry about that) and didn't make me feel bad about it. He was great when it came to choosing songs for the big day. He also had the timeline on lock and was able to provide some insight. I love that I chose to include the photobooth because we can go back and look at all the photographs which is great. Every one of my guests loved that and was excited they could get each one afterwards. The printer was super quick too. I didn't even know we would have a personalized print with our wedding date on it which was a nice surprise. The only thing I would have liked would be that when the bride/groom requested a song that it would get played. Instead he asked if the venue was okay with it which I felt like wasn't a concern since I paid for both to be there. That was my only note for future events. Rick Flare Drip never got played and it's a banger. Sean also had another surprise which was Audio he recorded from the ceremony which I thought was a cute touch. Thank you for making our big day a success.”

He did a great job onboarding us for the whole process and made us feel heard and appreciated before we even got to the wedding day! We ended up having several particular requests that include making cuts and edits of existing songs, and MC Duke had absolutely no issue working with us to make everything come together effortlessly. “This review for Zeb (and the whole Sounds Elevated Team) is long overdue. Zeb is not only an incredible musician in his own right but plays the role of musical conductor with equal panache. A true “Jack of All Trades.” Some of the many hats he wore for our wedding include: -He played solo guitar for our ceremony -Lined up a jazz quartet for the happy hour -Setup the party lighting (party but classy) for the reception -Setup a photo booth for guests to take fun photos (a big hit btw) -DJ’d with a live accompaniment combo for the reception - stayed up way later than we asked him to, and DJ our afterparty (which was a VERY different vibe than the reception). He was hustling for easily 10 hours straight. And every single element he contributed to the festivities was top tier. My older cousin, a professional musician for many years, was blown away by the level of talent. It’s been almost two years since the wedding and we still get compliments about the entertainment. He and his team went above and beyond. Easily the best “value” for anything we spent money on for the wedding. I strongly recommend meeting with Zeb and gearing his philosophy/approach to weddings/events.”
