“YPB was simply the single-best decision we could have made for our wedding. Our planner, Katelyn Evans, EXCELLED at: (1) Coordinating and managing our vendors, both local and not-at-all local (2) Understanding our vision and transforming it into reality (3) Navigating the complexities of a South Asian wedding (along with the specific needs for our families) Early on in our wedding planning journey, we got quickly overwhelmed, especially because we were not nearby to our wedding destination. Katelyn hit the ground running with us from day one. She was our boots on the ground, meeting with vendors in person when needed and was an expert in keeping things moving no matter what the action item was, big or small. A few particular difficulties that Katelyn navigated expertly: (1) We struggled to pull together the decor based off our wedding vision. Katelyn realized that one decor vendor was not meeting our needs and worked overtime to pull together an order sheet that pulled decor from multiple vendors that matched our vision perfectly AND cut our decor costs by half. (2) Katelyn accommodated our parents needs down to even the smallest requests, like making sweets available to guests at auspicious moments during the wedding weekend and even helping coordinate dinners outside of the wedding itself. (3) Katelyn pulled together last-minute needs during the wedding weekend without a sweat, such as setting up umbrellas to provide shade during the wedding ceremony or last-minute hotel room booking adjustments. The result was a multi-day South Asian wedding that was even better in real life than we could have dreamed of. Our guests LOVED (1) the decor, (2) the food, and (3) how organized and thoughtful each event was. Throughout the entire wedding journey, Katelyn remained extremely receptive to changes, incredibly attentive to detail, and our biggest friend and advocate. “Hiring Ashley at Rose Event Co as our Day of Wedding Coordinator was definitely one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. I thought I was going to be able to manage planning our entire wedding myself, but as the day crept closer and closer, I realized that I was definitely going to need a hand. We spoke with a dozen different coordinators, and Ashley just stood out SO strongly amongst the rest. To put it as simply as possible, she saw our vision, she understood it, she stood in and shared in it with us. She knew exactly how to support us in making it happen, and she was easily able to make us feel that. We initially had concerns about her being located so far away from us (we're in Oakland, CA), but she put those concerns to rest so quickly! Throughout my months of planning after hiring Ashley, she was always there to answer my questions, and provide support and reassurance in all of the little things that I just wasn't sure how to handle myself, and she did so with such grace, patience, and an air of calm that was so extremely helpful and reassuring. When the month of our wedding arrived, Ashley quickly got to work on communicating with and organizing all of our vendors and laying out the structure for the day. She traveled to Monte Rio to be with us the day before our big day, walked us through the ceremony, went over all of the details, and left us so confident and comfortable in her extremely capable hands. The day of the wedding, Ashley handled EVERYTHING and EVERYONE with such care and tranquility. All of our wedding vendors absolutely loved her, and we never stopped hearing about how great she was to work with! Ashley is an absolute BOSS in all of the best ways that you can imagine! She is supportive, encouraging, communicative, active, helpful, caring, the list just goes on and on. She wants you to succeed, and you can FEEL it. She remembered and double checked on all of the little details, before, during, and after our wedding, and words simply cannot express our gratitude. She did so many things automatically, that I hadn't even thought to discuss with her, but was so grateful that we had her there to do. Thank you Ashley!! She did so many little things that I didn't even realize until I started looking through all of our photos, and noticed that they had all been done. On top of all of that, she basically packed up the entirety of our decor with the assistance of her extremely helpful husband, which was such a huge relief for us and for our wedding party who had put so much into the day. We were all able to completely disconnect and just enjoy the evening, which was so unbelievably priceless. There are so many things that make Ashley stand out from other coordinators. So many coordinators that we had talked to before Ashley had a big list of things that they would NOT do, but not Ashley. She was willing to do whatever needed to be done to ensure that our wedding day went perfectly, and it did, thanks to her!! HUGE bonus, she brought along her Super 8 camera, and we CANNOT WAIT to see the footage!! “Annie from Before You Say I Do was an exceptional day-of-coordinator for our special day. Her communication style was frequent, clear, thoughtful, timely, and she was quick to respond to all of our questions and needs. The quality of her work and the value she provided was excellent-- she is hard-working and was incredibly considerate throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond, offering to bring additional decorations and even showing up the day before to assist with our traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony, which was not even on the same day as our official wedding. We had only hired her for her day-of coordination package, but even so, she was a consistent voice and helping hand for us for months leading up to the wedding. While she wasn't technically our wedding planner (we chose to not hire one)- she absolutely filled that role and so much more, helping us create a personalized and unforgettable wedding night. From our very first call, Kimberley was warm, excited and genuinely interested in hearing our vision. Her experience in the event space was clear from the start. She helped us plan every detail- from celebratory champagne while getting ready, to beautiful florals (including my dream bouquet, which she made), coordinating all rentals through her vendors, and even picking up our wedding cake. After our Oregon coast ceremony, we had appetizers and a private chef dinner at our airbnb for our 14 guests- and the food experience was truly unforgettable. Kimberley's chef and sous chef, were incredible! The chef built a thoughtful, elegant menu that felt perfectly tailored to the setting and the occasion. Appetizers included fresh oysters, shrimp cocktail and ceviche- all beautifully prepared and displayed. Dinner was perfectly cooked steak, butter garlic mashed potatoes, tender asparagus and scallops, paired with a curated selection of local OR wines. Every dish was crafted with care and brought a sense of luxury and warmth to the evening. The chef and sous chef not only prepared everything to perfection but were also professional, friendly and seamlessly integrated into the flow of the night. The tablescape that Kimberley created was another unforgettable highlight- elegant, timeless and even more beautiful than what we imagined. It brought everything together in the most stunning way. Communication throughout the planning process was consistent and reassuring, especially because we live in Colorado and the wedding weekend took place in Oregon. Kimberley regularly checked in to make sure every detail aligned with our vision and because of her thoroughness and care, we felt completely at ease leading into the big weekend. On the day of, her team executed everything with precision and heart. They were warm, attentive, and brought such a calm, grounding energy to the space. Everything was timed perfectly and we were free to enjoy the experience of getting married without any stress. We truly can't thank Kimberley, Chef Michael, and the team enough! My husband and I, as well as our family and friends would absolutely recommend this team for any event. They created a wedding night that was intimate, elegant and deeply personal - a celebration we'll never forget!”

“We hired Michelle Knutson for our November 2025 Palm Springs wedding and truly could not be happier with our experience. We had a fairly small event, so we went with the day-of-coordinator package. Michelle truly went above and beyond just the day-of coordinating. She coordinated a couple intros zooms, got in touch with our venue and all of our vendors beforehand and brought us solutions when we realized we were going to be rained on. The day of she was a straight shooter - direct and ran a tight ship. But she was also warm, friendly and upbeat. Her assistant even took care of my dog for me and made sure he was fed and walked! We are forever grateful to her and her team for making our day so special. 10/10 recommend!”
