“We got married at the Red Lion Inn on October 11, 2025 and it truly was the best day of our lives. The whole process was so seamless – from our initial tour of the Barn to the grand tasting and final planning/details meeting, and all the endless calls and emails in between. Everyone was an absolute pleasure to work with. Our event producer, Sam, went above and beyond to ensure our vision was brought to life. The innkeeper, Andrew, was so helpful in recommending the best room options for family members and was extremely accommodating to our guests. And last but certainly not least, Toufik, was by our side ALL night long making sure our glasses were always full and most importantly that we were fed! The absolute best team - more than we could have asked for! And to top it all off the food was incredible. Our guests still rave about it and the fact that everything was in one location, including the after party, was such a plus! Can’t recommend this venue enough! We are so lucky that we live so close and can visit any time, and have already been back for an overnight stay in the bridal suite (we just couldn’t wait until our anniversary!). We are forever grateful to the wonderful staff at RLI and all our amazing vendors for giving us the wedding of our dreams and the most memorable day of our lives!”

“I had my eye on The Grove at Briar Barn Inn since it was simply a blueprint on an Instagram post. From the start, I knew it was going to be where I would get married someday. There is just something so quintessentially charming about the post and beam restaurant and the quaint New England Inn. The entire experience working with The Grove was great. We picked December 8th for not only the idea of a winter wedding but also for the holiday decor and availability for our preferred vendors. They were flexible in putting together the details and stuck to all the outlined dates and deadlines. We were assigned our wedding coordinator, Jeannine, about six weeks out as they said, and we were able to have our wedding details meeting soon after. The payment portal was easy to use, and the planning pod was intuitive and a great spot to keep important details in order. Jeannine answered all my questions promptly, and in the week leading up to the wedding, she was available for us to drop off all the decor ahead of time and spent time reviewing our vision one last time. On the day of, she was present, available, and helpful. She was detailed and organized and never pushy. She let us have our day and was there to help transition to the different elements seamlessly, paying attention to all the details so we wouldn't have to. Our guests have had only positive things to say about the entire day from the incredible food and the overall atmosphere. The only critique I have of the entire experience is the check-in process at the Inn. We had a 20 room block and ended up with 29 of the 30 rooms booked by our guests. The Inn has a very strict 2pm early check-in for 50 fee or 3pm otherwise check-in. We had a Sunday wedding in December where we had a first look and formal portraits at 2pm before a 4:00 ceremony because of the early sunset. We weren't able to stay Saturday night due to another wedding buy-out. The Grove accommodated me by making the hospitality suite available for us to get ready in; however, the Inn did not accommodate the groom getting ready. We rented out the Silo/Library for 250 to try to have a space for the men to get ready, but they didn't set up the privacy screen and there were too many people milling around for him to get changed in the non-private space. After a lot of inquiry from our wedding coordinator, our officiant, and our makeup artist, they finally let him into the room at 1:45 for the additional 50, but at that point it was only enough time for him to drop his phone and wallet. He ended up changing in the single stall bathroom in the basement of the Inn, which is a nice bathroom of course, but we would have liked a little more flexibility for us to have 1 room with early check-in to give him a bit more privacy. Flipping one room early for the bride and groom doesn't seem like a lot to ask in the grand scheme of the day or even offering some alternatives - we likely would have paid for a full extra night even if we couldn't get into the room the night before just to have the spot, but they didn't give us any options to work with until 1:45 p.m. ahead of 2pm call time. My recommendation for future couples is to negotiate into the wedding contract for something ahead of time if you could potentially run into the same issue, especially if you're out of towners who don't have other options nearby.”

“The Colonial Hotel was the perfect place to host our wedding. We stayed over the night before and got ready there the morning of, and had our cocktail hour and reception under the tent. From the first email, Mary was beyond helpful and communicative. She made the entire process as smooth as possible. I always felt like she had it under control! She even let us drop off our decor a couple weeks in advance, and then her and her team handled all of the setup. Although I was extremely involved in the planning during my engagement, Mary made it easy to enjoy the day and forget about all of the little things. The convenience of the Colonial Grille made it easy to continue on to our after party. The food was great and so were the drinks! The best part was finishing pictures and immediately having Mary deliver my new husband & I our signature cocktails without having to ask. Their partnership with Gerardos also made the cake process extremely easy. Would 10000000% recommend working with Mary & her team for your big day!”

Though the ceremony was held elsewhere, the Estate hosted the reception, and it was everything our daughter dreamed of — and more. From the start, Jasmine and Suzy made us feel completely at home. Their warm, family-run approach set the tone for a joyful, stress-free day. They worked seamlessly with the caterer we brought in, ensuring every detail was handled with care and professionalism. It was clear they were committed to making the day perfect, no matter what. The setup at the Estate is outstanding, with beautiful spaces for the bridal party to relax and prepare. Our daughter and her bridesmaids loved getting ready at the Rose Cottage, while the rest of the venue was meticulously prepared for the reception. The staff even took special care of the personal decorations we provided, setting everything up exactly as envisioned and carefully packing it all afterward — such attention to detail truly stood out. “Hands down, choosing the Hotel Northampton was one of the best decisions I made during wedding planning, besides saying yes to my husband! I had spent years mentally preparing for how difficult this process could be, but I cannot express how easy the team made it for us. In my professional life, I plan large-scale events. Even with my background, I was blown away and deeply grateful for the professionalism, flexibility, and expertise of everyone involved. Honestly, I don't know how Hotel Northampton makes any money off of weddings! They include so much, the food, drink, and cake to the dance floor, getting-ready rooms, and all the linens (including doubling up on the tables). On top of that, they handle the entire setup and breakdown for you. Their flexibility was unmatched. When I needed to add a full buffet to my welcome party just 1–2 weeks before, they made it happen. They also graciously worked with me on last-minute changes to my reception guest list. Speaking of food, they have some of the BEST food I have ever had! The quality, freshness, and flavors were so good. I honestly cannot wait to go back and eat there again. I am so thankful that they have a restaurant, because we can go back and enjoy their food every time we want to relive our wedding. The venue itself is naturally gorgeous, so all you really need to do is complement it. All of my guests had a blast, and I felt so little stress. Absolutely NOTHING went wrong on the wedding day, which is incredibly rare in this industry, and I attribute that entirely to Ruby and Lia. I’ve never heard of a venue or vendor team that makes everything so seamless. I had so many guests coming to me after saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to, including our pastor! “We've worked with Eleanor and the events team at Groton Inn on several weddings for our mutual clients and we are always so happy to be there! Every moment of the event is highly-organized and well-executed. There are several locations to hold your ceremony, cocktail hour in the courtyard is lovely, and the Prescott Room is a perfectly cozy space for events of 60-80 guests. The staff is courteous and professional, the food is excellent, and the space has been well-designed for these kinds of affairs. “From the making of a reservation to checkout, our stay at Lakehouse Inn was just first class. They made our late check in so easy. Such wonderful care, handcrafted breakfasts, time at and on the lake, on the deck, wine to greet us, sangria each evening, wonderful thoughts about where to go and where to dine. And then the staff: so attentive to our every need. So hospitable. We came from the mid-west for the experience, and we will return next summer for even more.”

“Hotel 1620 Plymouth Harbor was a lovely venue for our wedding. The coordinators were extremely helpful, kind, and supportive throughout the planning process, promptly answering our many questions. They also walked us through rehearsal with ease. On the big day, the coordinator did arrive slightly behind schedule, but we made up the time with efficient photography. The hotel has a beautiful historic ballroom that perfectly suited our theme. The wedding suites are also quite lovely with harbor views. We did have some minor issues - a few guest rooms are outdated and some key cards malfunctioned - but the staff quickly resolved these. They also securely stored all our decor for pickup the next day. Overall, Hotel 1620 offers a beautiful, affordable venue and helpful staff, with just a few small hiccups. We highly recommend them for weddings and events.”

“Castle Manor Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first toured the property, the staff was incredibly responsive, helpful, and accommodating. Kaylyn, the event coordinator, was fantastic - she was always quick to reply to our emails and questions, and she went above and beyond to ensure our day was seamless. The venue itself is truly charming and unique, with a customizable layout that allowed us to create our dream wedding. The food, prepared by Chef Dan, was phenomenal - our guests are still raving about it. The entire staff at Castle Manor Inn was friendly and helpful, and they eased our stress throughout the planning process. It's a fantastic operation, and we're so grateful we chose this venue for our special day.”

“My husband and I got married at the Hilton in Woburn on 6/8/24. Anyone that knows me, knows I stress about everything like there is no tomorrow. The Hilton put all my worries at ease. I did have a few different wedding coordinators throughout the process but they all were very helpful and communicated well with one another when switching to a different coordinator. Ruth and Kari- the best of the best! Responded quickly if I had any questions or concerns. We had our ceremony and reception at the Hilton. Kari and Alli (director of banquets)- words cannot even express how grateful I felt having both of them help with the ceremony entrances as we had an odd amount of people in the wedding party. Kari and Alli were both there the day of our wedding and made sure everything was set up the way I envisioned it. “We had our wedding at the Marriott Long Wharf October 7 2023 and everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Meg Garruto is a true gem and was a dream to work with! We were actually booked at another venue and after some issues we decided we needed to find another venue and actually booked Long Wharf site unseen. Our original venue not working our was the biggest blessing in disguise. The attention to details and the accessibility to answer any questions we had was above and beyond. There was absolutely no stress in wedding planning thanks to Meg and her team. We also were so impressed with the food! From the cocktail hour to late night snacks everything was perfect. Our guests have been raving about the service and the food for the past week! The location of the hotel and the views are worth booking for alone. If you are looking to book a Boston area hotel for your wedding I would seriously consider booking long wharf before it’s too late! We are already looking into visiting for our one year anniversary (and we are not locals!) because we love the hotel so much!”

“The Colonnade was our venue for our September 2025 wedding reception. The entire team was so attentive, responsive, adaptable, and friendly - from the planning process, to our check-in experience, to the servers and bartenders in the Huntington ballroom throughout the event. Our hotel block was easy to plan and all our guests really enjoyed their stays, commenting how everything was top-notch. I cannot give enough thanks to Geena, she was with us every step of the way and helped us navigate planning such a large and meaningful event. She ensured every detail was remembered, was so attentive throughout the year leading up to the big day, and was a true joy to work with - for us and our team of vendors. She helped us and all of our guests feel welcome the entire weekend. Wedding planning is a big task to take on but it was great to not have to worry about many details because I knew I could count on Geena! Chef Nick was wonderful to work with from presenting our tasting and sharing stories behind his delicious recipes, allowing us to use the Rooftop Pool for our first look photos, working with us to customize our menu and dessert table, and stopping by during our meal to make sure everything was how we wanted and more. The food and service was simply outstanding and the Huntington Ballroom was a beautiful and elegant space. I cannot recommend hosting your wedding at The Colonnade more - the level of care we received from the initial inquiry to the day we checked out was unmatched.”

“If the Tiffany Ballroom is available for your big day, do yourself a favor and book it! Mindy, Jayme and their team were phenomenal to work with, from our first visit to the venue through the end of our big day. The packages make stressful wedding prep more bearable and their preferred vendors are all top notch. The food is incredible (not an easy thing to find at weddings); the hors d’oeuvres and meal options allow something for everyone. If in doubt, we still hear from people about how great the short rib was! The convenience factor cannot be overstated. Having our wedding at a beautiful, affordable venue helped us out massively with logistics and gave our guests a smooth, easy weekend experience. The front desk team was accommodating to needs and made our guests feel so welcomed, from our welcome dinner to our big day. If you’re doing your research, we’re sure you’ve read about Mindy & Jayme. “I recently hosted two events at Rachel’s with the exceptional help from their manager Sophia! One was a 40th anniversary celebration of the Friends of the Westport COA with 125 attending! Sophia helped plan, organize and execute an amazing night! Rave reviews by all who attended. My second event was a family Christmas party of 50. Several have life- threatening allergies which was no problem because Sophia addressed it and provided a safe buffet for all. The venue was ideal for my family and abrupt changes were made without problems due to unforeseen traffic issues causing one hour delays. It was definitely the best Christmas get together we have had and plan to celebrate it again next year at Rachel’s and their exceptional manager Sophia! I highly recommend this venue for any event you are planning. There will be no stress and you will be able to enjoy it too!”

“I could not speak more highly of this venue!!! From the location to their employees, everything is over the top. I work with Makenzie from the events department regularly, and she is always available to take my call and responds to my email within 24 hours (which is hard to find around here). The view is also incredible.. you can get married on the porch overlooking the Edgartown Lighthouse. How perfect is that?
