If you’re considering Hotel 1620 as your wedding venue, I cannot recommend it enough! From the very beginning of the planning process through the very last moments of our wedding night, the entire experience exceeded our expectations. A HUGE thank you goes to Franque and Krissi, our coordinators. They were absolutely incredible from start to finish. They were always quick to respond to questions, incredibly organized, and made us feel supported every step of the way leading up to the wedding. On the wedding day, they truly went above and beyond. Every piece of decor was set up beautifully and even better than we could have imagined. Their attention to detail was exceptional, and it was obvious they genuinely cared about making everything perfect. They anticipated needs before we even had to ask and were constantly checking in to make sure we, our families, and our guests had everything we needed. Throughout the entire evening, Franque and Krissi were attentive, professional, and kind. They checked in with us throughout the night making sure we had everything we needed. The next morning, they even had the bridal suite packed up for us! Because of them, we were able to relax and enjoy every moment without worrying about anything. We are so grateful to the entire team at Hotel 1620 for helping make our wedding so memorable, but Franque and Krissi truly made the experience exceptional. Their dedication, responsiveness, and attention to every little detail made all the difference. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or a better team to bring our day to life!!

I can’t recommend 1620 enough. They went above and beyond for our wedding from the second. We signed the contract. They had everything taken care of. The only thing we had to do was find a DJ and find a photographer or videographer we got to do all the fun stuff, tastings, final meetings, walk-through they took care of everything behind the scenes. We didn’t have to worry about a thing when one of their vendors who does the draping decorations and lighting unfortunately wasn’t available for my wedding day, Franque somehow got trapping and lighting for our ballroom space. I still have no idea how she did it, but it was there for our wedding and it was absolutely gorgeous. It was exactly what I wanted. Little details like this is just an example of the many things that they did to go above beyond making sure that there was no issues whatsoever on wedding day. Our ceremony went off perfectly. They have an outdoor ceremony space we utilized, an in file meeting. We discussed backup plans if the weather didn’t cooperate which thankfully it did (balmy 73 on 10/4/25). The food was incredible. We did the filet and the chicken saltimboca. They have incredible all-inclusive packages that include different variations of sit down or buffet dinners open bar specialty drinks past hors d’oeuvres. There’s a couple different tiers. The value for our money was amazing compared to a lot of other places around the South Shore. We got the best bang for a buck and I would do it again.

Amazing, would recommend!
My husband and I recently got married at this beautiful venue in August. We had the ceremony on the water and everything about the day was so beautiful and perfect. It was also so very nice to have so many things within walking distance for our guests and more than enough spaces for people to stay nearby. Everyone we worked with was so incredible and helpful. Wedding planning is very stressful, but they all had a very calming, put-together presence. They were so organized and helped make the day go seamlessly. We are beyond appreciative of Franque, Mindy, Jack and Karen and everyone else who helped make this day so very special. They were so patient and worked with us to make it everything we wanted the day to be and more. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a beach wedding!!

A perfect day
Hotel 1620 Plymouth Harbor was a lovely venue for our wedding. The coordinators were extremely helpful, kind, and supportive throughout the planning process, promptly answering our many questions. They also walked us through rehearsal with ease. On the big day, the coordinator did arrive slightly behind schedule, but we made up the time with efficient photography. The hotel has a beautiful historic ballroom that perfectly suited our theme. The wedding suites are also quite lovely with harbor views. We did have some minor issues - a few guest rooms are outdated and some key cards malfunctioned - but the staff quickly resolved these. They also securely stored all our decor for pickup the next day. Overall, Hotel 1620 offers a beautiful, affordable venue and helpful staff, with just a few small hiccups. We highly recommend them for weddings and events.

My Special Day
Jack, Mindy, Frankie and the staff did an amazing job from start to finish! They made everything seem so easy. Even when there was a hiccup, it all worked out. I could not imagine having my wedding anywhere else. They provided excellent information for vendors, a full menu w/packages to choose from. A stellar job by all!
