I was born off the coast of Portugal, in the Azores Islands, and raised in Cartaxo near Lisbon. At 19, I moved to the U.S. and have called Boston home ever since, embracing the beauty of New England’s seasons. My journey began in graphic design, but photography soon became my passion. For over a decade, I’ve traveled across the country, capturing weddings and events with a deep love for storytelling. Wherever I go, my camera is always in hand, seeking to document the moments that matter most.

    Amazing!

    We hired Pedro for our April 2026 wedding, and I’m so glad we did. When I started researching photographers more than a year before our wedding, I was looking for someone whose work stood out from the hundreds of photographers offering similar services. Pedro’s photography and editing style immediately caught my attention, and after looking through his portfolio, I had a feeling he would be the one. During our consultation call, Pedro was personable, friendly, and clearly shared our sense of humor, which made us even more excited to work with him. Our package included an engagement session, which we scheduled for May 2025. I’m not the most comfortable person in front of a camera, but Pedro made the entire experience easy and fun. He guided us through everything, helped us feel relaxed, and delivered a gallery that far exceeded our expectations. On our wedding day, Pedro was an absolute dream to work with. He arrived on time, immediately put us at ease, and was incredibly organized throughout the day. He made sure we got every photo we wanted while keeping everything running smoothly and on schedule.     Pedro is Awesome!

    We were so lucky to have chosen to work with Pedro and Bindi for our wedding day! He was a true professional from start to finish - in the planning leading up to the wedding, Pedro was organized and prompt with communications. All of our details were loaded in his portal and it was easy to track and made us feel confident and comfortable we would have the experience & photos we wanted to capture the moment! He was a great presence to have with us on our wedding day and we can't imagine having done it with anyone else. Cannot recommend Pedro any more highly!!

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Usually I have my wife assisting me (not as a photographer) but she does a lot of behind the scenes for me and posts items on social media, my couples love seeing the IG stories of the whole day. Second photographer, I normally shoot solo, unless you chose to add on a second photographer to your package, I only recommend this when bride and groom are getting ready far away from each other.
My editing consists of tuning the colors to match my style and brand, I also smooth out skin, take away when able to edit out exit signs, odd wall fixtures or other small distractions I do not do extensive editing like slimming someone down, extending the height of someone, tattoo removal etc. We are all uniquely beautiful. Scars or birth marks will only be removed upon request.
Yes and no. I focus on one craft at a time, so you can either hire me for photography or cinematography. I do not offer them both combined.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 5-6 weeks after your wedding, 3-4 Weeks for engagement photos. Sneak peek images will be viewable within 24-48 hours.
You can expect about 60 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
In my 10 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant.
