“Seth was amazing as our wedding photographer! Our wedding package included an additional photo shoot that we used as an engagement shoot. This session helped us feel at ease with our decision. He made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera and we were so impressed with how those pictures turned out. Leading up to the wedding day he helped us build our day of timeline and we compiled a list of must have pictures. Seth and Drea helped us stay on schedule and were able to capture all the pictures we wanted. They were organized, professional, and prepared. Any time during the night we wanted a photo captured, Seth and Drea were already on it. They made it so easy for us to enjoy and have fun knowing they were capturing all our special moments. “Read for my true heartfelt experience with Angelica at Dawnpoint, but in short - hire her. This should be the easiest decision you make in your wedding planning journey. I came across Dawnpoint after she documented the wedding of someone I know. Those pictures felt so authentic and real. They took me right to the event and made me feel so much. I knew I needed to meet her. From my initial zoom meeting with Angelica, we hit it off. I said I wanted to get the best views in our pictures. She was on board right away. For our engagement pictures, she took us on a hike. Chris and I showed up in hiking gear with our formal wear in our packs. So did Angelica. This may seem so minuscule but for two people who had never been photographed and just wanted someone to make them feel comfortable and to capture something real, this made us trust her from the get go. Needless to say, those pictures were amazing. We even used them for our save the dates! Fast forward to our wedding day in Lake Placid on June 15, 2024. My goals were ambitious but Angelica was on board every step of the way. From creating the timeline to executing the plan the day of, it was the least stressful part of our day. What I loved most was that she listened to my vision and incorporated it in everything she did that day. I even forgot that I wanted a specific picture of my dress, but she definitely did not. When I was getting ready, she had my bridal party share personal stories of us and it was so sweet, I felt so connected to the people closest to me that day and it helped me stay grounded and present from the beginning. For our first look, we wanted to meet at the top of Whiteface Mountain. This was 40 minutes away from our venue and logistically a lot of things could go wrong. Yet, Angelica was a smiling face reassuring me that we could do it. Everything from asking for us to skip the elevator line, to clearing the space on Whiteface for Chris and I to get our moment. I was and remain truly speechless of how she actually made this happen. The pictures speak for themselves. After, we returned to our venue and without delay resumed with a first look with my dad (which I added last minute and was meeted with so much excitement from Angelica). One of my favorite parts was golden hour pictures. I take zero credit here. This was Angelica’s idea and I am so thankful. It was a truly beautiful and authentic experience to photograph the newly wed joy I felt. This is just one of so many ways in which Angelica showed that she was as present and invested in our day as we were. After receiving my sneak preview pictures, I was honestly met with so much emotion. I was brought right back to each moment and exactly how I was feeling. I am truly blown away because if anyone can get a picture to tell a thousand words, it is Angelica. She perfectly captured our day and was the single most best decision I made that day. Unsolicited feedback from my guests: “Your photographer smiled the entire night! She looked like she was having so much fun!” This was feedback I got multiple times and it goes to show much Angelica loves her job! P.S. Jake, her second shooter, was also an absolute pleasure. “We absolutely loved our experience with Flo as our photographer and hiring her was the best decision that we made about our wedding day. We interviewed a few photographers but had an instant connection with Flo who seemed so enthusiastic and genuinely excited for our love story and wedding. She had such positive energy and we knew we wanted that kind of energy surrounding us on our wedding day. She was also willing to customize a package for us to work with our budget and our needs for the wedding day which was so reassuring - and she is worth every penny of what she charges. We had an awesome engagement session with her before the big day, and even when I broke a nail on the way there, she was so great at keeping me from stressing out. We were able to relax and laugh a lot and be ourselves on camera, and the photos were stunning. We also appreciated how Flo kept in touch with us on Instagram leading up to the wedding and afterwards - it must be so much work to keep up with all of her clients but it really felt so nice that she was following us on our wedding journey. She was so supportive, liking our stories and posts and letting us know she was consistently invested in our story. When the wedding day came it was like we were meeting up with an old friend even though we'd only met in person once for the engagement session. Flo also worked with us to figure out the "wedding timeline" that every vendor seemed to want even though we were a little clueless about it to start. She came up with a plan for the most efficient use of our time to make the day go the smoothest and it really worked out perfectly. She kept us on schedule and used the questionnaire we had filled out to make sure she got all of the shots we requested. All of our wedding party and family told us how great she was and how much they liked working with her. She and her second photographer and assistant were ON IT and captured so many moments throughout the day, they didn't miss a thing! We were able to put complete trust in her and just enjoy the wedding. As for the photos themselves, her style is so beautiful and striking and exactly what we were looking for - we love how saturated her colors are and it worked perfectly for our jewel tone fall wedding. She has a passion for sunset lighting as well and the pictures from our engagement and wedding day at sunset came out so beautifully. For both engagement and our wedding, we had a bunch of sneak peek photos within a day or two which was great to tide us over while we waited for the final products. Communication and payment and the photo gallery platform were all super straightforward. We cannot recommend Flo enough for the genuinely positive energy she will bring to your planning process and wedding day and for the gorgeous photos she will capture on your special day.”

“From initial meeting to getting our highlights in under a week, working with Bryan was a dream. Right off the bat, he understood we weren't very touchy/PDA couple and were definitely not used to having a camera in our face. We had Bryan join for our rehearsal dinner to get some family photos and give us a chance to get comfortable, and right away he did just that. Taking photos didn't feel like taking photos with Bryan. “This review is a mix of both happy and a little disheartened. Our Photographer had such an amazing personality. He kept us on our toes. He kept us laughing, leading up to the big moment however, looking back on photos that were being taken in the bridal suite I feel like there’s a lot of mess in the background of them which I don’t blame the Photographer at all that is our fault and those photos did come out beautiful. Our reception photos came out beautiful, but what leaves us this heart in a little bit is our bridal party photos and alter photos. We were hoping to have close pictures of the altar and we didn’t. They’re just kind of dark looking. Which again I understand lighting in a venue I was just hoping for more of an edit, but the biggest one are the Bridal party photos. A lot of our girls look white washed, as if there was little no editing done to it. There was trash or mess in the background that as a photographer I would hope it would’ve been picked up on so we could’ve moved stuff out of the way. I received one photo back with our entire bridal party, which I was excited for to find out half of their faces are blurry and some people were cut out so I can’t share that photo. The rest of the pictures have shadows in them exit signs that could’ve been cropped out not centered properly. I know the day is a lot because there’s things I forgot for example, we never got a full family photo. My husband doesn’t have any with his siblings and parents same with me and my siblings and parents and with our siblings and parents altogether with us on both sides, which should’ve been something I thought of myself, but I know it was talked about prior. I loved our reception photos. I do wish there was a little more of our parents and us but the reception photos came out beautiful and amazing. I’m just a little disheartened with the private bridal party photos. However it’s an easy fix because my maid of honor is a Photographer and my bridal party is gonna. Dress back up and do their hair and make up the way it was that day and we’re gonna redo our photos. Overall though David was amazing to work with the communication was perfect. The payment plan was amazing. I remember one time having to pay him a little late and there was no issue at all. He actually gave me extra time and told me to wait until after the holidays. And I will forever be appreciative for that I would still hire David for other events. Attached are photos we did like and some that we didn’t - the one with our bridal party missing included”

“When we were planning our New York City wedding, we didn't quite know where to start when selecting our photographer. We are both creatives and we wanted someone who had a unique style that didn't feel too 'generic'. We asked around our networks and had Ben recommended to us.. and boy, are we lucky to have found him. Ben and his entire team (including his manager, Abby, and wife, Karis) were an absolute joy to work with- and while we haven't had a chance to see all of the finished pictures quite yet, the sneak peeks he has shown us are absolutely perfect.
