“Kastina Morrison is the epitome of event excellence. We hired Kastina & Co. for day-of (really, month-of) wedding coordination for our outdoor ceremony at a non-traditional farm venue. Kastina dove right in, offering a curated list of 5-star vendors, brainstorming for decor, and setting several meetings to keep things on track. We had a lot of cannabis elements (a very new thing in Minnesota), but Kastina was able to help us find the right partners to stay compliant and classy. The best part, aside from Kastina’s immensely positive and creative spirit, is her organizational skills. She created many invaluable documents, including an incredibly detailed run-of-show that outlined our wedding down to the minute. Every single person, whether it was a vendor, a wedding party person, or a family member, knew precisely where they needed to be when. This document alone was worth its weight in gold as it allowed me (the bride) to enjoy my special day, and helped ease the mind of my anxious MIL (not an easy feat). On the day of, Kastina and her team worked their tails off to ensure things went off without a hitch - including repairing a wind-damaged tent. We chose the Day of Coordination and are very grateful to have had Hanh as our wedding coordinator! Hanh is worth her weight in gold! With Day of Coordination we received not only ten hours of custom coordination from the wonderfully efficient and empathic Hanh, we also had the help of her assistant. This was perfect because someone was by my and my husband’s throughout the day. I loved that with SEG we had a whole team of magnifically organized, thorough and compassionate individuals to support us in executing our dream wedding. Once we had submitted our information Lindsay contacted us to go over all of the things included in wedding planning. Two months before our wedding date we were connected with Hanh. From our first meeting throughout the whole time before the wedding and for the duration of our wedding itself Hanh was both our wedding angel and ninja rolled all into one. I had done a lot of the initial setting up vendors, but as soon as she could she took over as my contact person. This meant the vendors had to email/reach out to Hanh and left me feeling like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. If there were any hiccups leading up to the wedding I did not know until they were already handled. Kari was at the center ensuring everything went as smoothly as possible. We had monthly scheduled check-ins with her to discuss progress as we neared the wedding day and I never felt rushed or stressed. “We shopped around a bit for a planner before landing on McKayla and her team over at Shaded Spruce Events. Even though we only booked the partial planning package, it felt as if we had a full planner on our side. McKayla made an effort to meet us on our level and elevate ALL of our ideas into a reality. McKayla took most of the logistical planning out of our hands, which allowed us to focus on the fun things. She also helped us settle on and refine the design of the event, and she gave really great ideas that we probably wouldn't have though of on our own. Her recommendations for vendors was also super helpful, and we were very pleased with the ones that we booked. She quickly figured out what we were looking for and how we operated and catered the planning to fit what we needed. With our package, we were also able to utilize a lot of additional decor and services that Shaded Spruce provides, which really added to the overall design of the event. On the big day, we didn't see much of McKayla and her team beyond what was needed, but we knew they were working hard to make the day perfect because the day went perfectly from our perspective! Not only did the event look perfect, we were also extremely satisfied with McKayla and her team's communication. At the end of the night, she handled the organization of the tear down, which allowed for the two of us to head out without having to worry about it. “Meticulous. Communicative. Organized. Friendly. Creative. These are all words to describe Sarah as the planner for our Honeymoon. Traveling to a different country we've never been to before was a bit overwhelming when we tried to plan it ourselves. Because where do you even begin? The wedding industry today is super saturated and they were able to point us towards vendors that would be right for us so we didn’t have to sift through hundreds of options on our own. And when our caterer drastically changed pricing on us, they helped us write a response to get the numbers fixed. All with a cool calming energy!
