“We first met Island Creek Events at a bridal expo in Queenstown, and from that moment, we knew we were in good hands. After an initial Zoom call where they explained everything they offer, how the process would work with a day-of coordinator, and broke down all the pricing, we felt confident moving forward—and we’re so glad we did. We had Naomi as our day-of planner, and she was absolutely amazing. We truly could not have asked for a better person to help guide us through the final stretch leading up to our wedding on August 2nd. From the start, she made everything feel manageable. We Zoomed once a week to stay on track, and she walked us through what needed to be done on our end vs. what she would handle. She answered every question (big or small) and was always willing to schedule extra meetings if we needed them. Naomi was there for our dress rehearsal the night before and stayed with us all day on the wedding day. She took care of setup, made sure every guest got the right meal, and kept everything running smoothly—so much so that if any issues came up, we never even knew. She handled everything with such grace and calm, and because of her, we were able to truly enjoy our day without stress. “Elizabeth at E&A Events was the PERFECT solution! I engaged her right away and used her Day of Coordination package which was honestly SO affordable and SO MUCH help to me and to the bride. She worked with us in preparing for the wedding, solved all of our concerns and unknowns as she is so familiar with weddings and how things “should go” and what pitfalls to be aware of. She was very flexible and all about working with my daughter’s vision for the wedding day, including helping with updates to timelines etc. On the day of, even though the venue provided a “coordinator”, it was so necessary to have someone there who was all about me as the mother of the bride and all about the bride and her day. Elizabeth was all over the venue throughout the ceremony and reception, making sure things were being handled and staying on track with our wishes; if there was any issue, she was on it and this allowed me to relax and enjoy the day! Hands down - the best part of the entire support that Elizabeth provided was offered AFTER the event ended; she stayed long after and made sure that all the centerpieces were broken down and all of the decor was stashed away in one place so we could easily go pick it up the following day. And this was packing up centerpieces with 28 floating candles on two separate floors — I was having nightmares of having to empty all those vases, but Elizabeth made it so easy! She is friendly, organized and persistent — there is no reason whatsoever to not invest in her support for your wedding or any event — but especially a wedding … this one day can be so expensive - she ensures that nothing goes wrong and you can just enjoy your special day. “When i say you NEED Keyta I mean it!!! She went above and beyond to make my wedding day smooth and beautiful. When i was worried my sister (who’s pregnant) wouldn’t be able to bend down to fix my long train and cathedral length veil, Keyta offered to come to one of my dress fitting appts to look at my dress and veil so she’d be prepared to step in if she needed to. She stayed in constant contact with my vendors and ensured we were all on the same page in order to have a smooth successful day. As the day got closer i started to become overwhelmed. she immediately took on anything i needed help with (looked up clerks office and provided address and phone number for our marriage license, last minute recommendations like clear umbrellas, isle runners, extra tents, ect in case it rained). Her bride and groom checklist helped keep us on track and ensured we got everything done that we needed to. On the day of, she let me use her mirror that she used on her wedding day for my flat lay detail pictures. She came prepared with a curling iron for touch ups!! I expressed my vision of having a flower wall that I didn’t have time to coordinate and Keyta made it happen! Having her by my side made me feel so at ease and i couldn’t imagine my day without her!! The quality of their work and the value they provided was truly flawless. They were incredibly detail-oriented and organized, ensuring that every aspect of our special day ran smoothly. When my veil flew off in the wind during photos, Alex from Je T'aime effortlessly grabbed her emergency kit of essentials and went to work, seamlessly resecuring my veil and ensuring it didn't fly off again. She also helped wrangle our family and bridal party, including a toddler and one other member of our wedding party who was challenging to deal with. Alex managed it all perfectly without letting anything affect her or her work. She made sure I was taken care of no matter what and her presence helped me simply enjoy my day without worrying about a thing. Behind the scenes, Alex ensured everything was flawless, organizing things with our vendors and guiding me throughout the entire day. She directed everyone and everything, and made sure my decor was set up exactly how I wanted it. She even held my bouquet and coordinated with our photographer.
