La Rue Events was an invaluable partner in being the day of coordinator for our wedding. From the start, their communication was thorough, effective, and incredibly friendly. Larissa and her team provided a level of professionalism and expertise that was extremely valuable and much needed throughout the process. Their work was truly top-notch - they ran a seamless and productive rehearsal the day before the wedding, and kept the bride and bridesmaids calm and organized the morning of. Larissa is amazing at what she does, and if it wasn't for her and her team, I don't know if we would have been able to pull off such a special day. We are so grateful for the La Rue Events team and highly recommend their services to any couple planning their wedding.

Larissa was the best. From start to finish, we always felt so cared for, and her dedication to not only my fiancé and me, but our families too, was so refreshing. We got married overseas with about 30 of our closest friends and family, so there were a LOT of moving pieces. She handled everything from hotels and activities to vendors, logistics, details, and design. Her vendor network was amazing, but what really stood out to us was her process for choosing vendors. My fiancé actually said, “my friend just got a list from his planner,” and that was so different from our experience. Larissa really took the time to understand our style, budget, and personalities, and every vendor felt like they were chosen specifically for us. We interviewed six planners and travel agents before finding Larissa through a Facebook group. Her knowledge of travel was amazing, but her expertise in planning is what really sold us. We got the best of both worlds. She was with us every step of the way and even traveled with us for the wedding. So many agents plan from afar, or you end up hiring a local planner who may be slow to respond or just doesn’t really get your vision. Larissa was always quick to respond and definitely got what we wanted. She has an amazing team at La Rue Events, but she also has an incredible local network and knows when to bring in the right people. She utilized local planners on the wedding day, which helped us so much with staying on budget. We actually ended up $7K under our total budget because of her! If you want a planner who is as dedicated to her clients as she is to her craft, who listens to your wishes, dreams, and worries, and always has your best interests at the forefront, this is your team. Larissa is professional, knows her stuff, has the best personality, and can actually laugh at herself, which makes the whole process that much more fun. I seriously cannot stop singing her praises.
