Mixology was started in 2017 when owner, Roman Brown, saw a need for more entertaining and energetic wedding DJ's in the Carolinas after moving from New York. Their goal is to help make your wedding night as special and fun as you'd imagined it would be.

“From start to finish, Mixology made things easy! There was an app to help sort out our music choices and it was very user friendly! We had DJ Ramsey and he was great. He kept the party going and everyone kept telling us how great he was!! He was very nice and accommodating for a last minute speech!”

Clife brought 4 sparklers, a CO2 cannon and uplighting all over our venue. He was the life of the party! We had so much fun with him and our guests! His DJ skills are great, but the way he MC's the entire wedding is incredible. Our guests specifically mentioned how good he was at curating the party! We also included the photobooth and that was a hit. It was awesome to have the book with printed copies of the strips because we looked at it the next day as we debriefed our perfect wedding. Chris Funkhouser (who seriously brought the funk!) was amazing to work with! During our consultations he was able to answer all our questions and concerns. He was able to put his swing on things from his experience to help provide the right vibes we were looking for. We pretty much already knew all the songs that we wanted to play so the program they used was perfect! It was detailed in the timing of the night, how long or short to play songs and any other special requests we wanted to have. On the night of the wedding, Chris was a blast -energetic, observant, and focused on keeping the dance floor alive all night long. He even joined us out there, helping to keep the party going strong! He was able to use his best judgement in placing some of the lighting and monogram details we chose which turned out great!
