“Gemma was great! From the very beginning, she was so easy to work with. She was very responsive and really listened to what we wanted. She listened to our concerns about getting some of our guests to dance and gave us a lot of great advice going into the wedding day, like adding dance floor props to get everyone engaged and adjusting our anniversary dance so everyone ends up on the dance floor. She worked with us and curated a great wedding playlist. Our guests complimented us on what a great DJ she was. Everyone loved seeing her behind the booth, dancing along with the guests. At one point, one of our guests dropped a glass and she played “Heart of Glass” right after, which was perfectly timed (lol). She really knew how to read the crowd and keep the energy up while still playing some of our silly requests. She curated a great mashup for the mother/son dance. My brother-in-law wanted to play a piece on a keyboard for part of his speech and Gemma worked with us in providing an amp so everyone could hear the piece. Matt at Supersounds made sure that that dream came true. It is clear why Supersounds was on all of our vendors’ recommended lists; they are all incredibly professional, organized, responsive, and kind. After talking with Matt we knew he would be the perfect DJ for our wedding. It was clear he was both easy going but passionate about what he does. Throughout the planning process he was able to give us advice on ceremony logistics, music, and cut together our first dance song. He helped explain what his role usually was on the wedding day and made sure that it agreed with our vision. He did an excellent job mixing the ceremony and adjusting the volumes on the microphone on the fly so that all of the audience was able to hear throughout. We had a lot of music that we knew we wanted played at the reception and cocktail hour and Matt hit all of our must plays while mixing in some extra songs that the crowd loved. The dance floor was alive the entire party and he even surprised us by sneaking in an extra final song by our favorite artist. “Alan C was easy and great to work with! We had a music range from Bad Bunny, Creed, The Killers and more! We shared with him a playlist of some of our favorite songs, a list of "do not play" whether they were styles of music, artists or specific songs and a "must play" list. His online forum was easy to navigate and use. We loved the uplighting and the audio guestbook (phone)!! Also I appreciate that he read and followed through with all the small notes we left for him (specifically we asked for father/daughter, mother/son and first dance to end after the chorus and not play the entire 3-4 minutes). “Shawn did an awesome job! He did the music for our wedding ceremony, the music for the reception, provided uplighting, and the photobooth. My now husband and I enjoyed working with Shawn. He is funny, easy going, and patient. His questionnaire is very detailed and is very helpful for pulling the music together for the day. He also was very focused on making sure my now husband and I heard what we wanted to hear for the music. During the ceremony, Shawn timed the music perfectly. We saw later watching videos that he even cut the microphone out for my brother, the officiant of the wedding, when my brother almost started talking over parents walking down the aisle. Thanks for that, Shawn! Later in the night, we had other challenges with our timeline due to longer than expected speeches, too many tables to say hi to, and my own indecisiveness. Shawn handled all these obstacles very smoothly, kept an eye on the crowd and helped us stay in tune with when we needed to get the dance floor going. He played the songs we requested and helped us out with choosing songs for younger people. Since the wedding went by so quickly, I think the thing I am most grateful for is all the photos and videos he took of the night. The day was a bit of a blur and Shawn let us relive the night by sending us tons of photos and videos of everyone dancing. Thank you for that, Shawn!”

“We knew we needed to hire Lucas after our first call with him. He immediately understood the disco-funk music style we wanted at our wedding and his enthusiastic energy was contagious. I had told a friend of mine in the NYC music scene that we hired Lucas and he said that he is the best and we were in good hands. He was absolutely right. Lucas knows how to control the dance floor! Each song blended into the next so smoothly. People were avoiding going to the bathroom and barely anyone touched our dessert because they didn't want to stop dancing. Everyone was feeling the music, from our 11-year-old cousin to our 80-year-old aunts. People were pulling out some impressive moves that I'm not sure they knew they had. I even crowd surfed! Definitely hire Lucas if you want your wedding to be an epic dance party. You won't regret it.”
