“Working with Hovey Entertainment was such a smooth experience from start to finish. Eric himself responded to every question we had quickly and knew exactly what we needed to make our day special. When you hire Eric, you actually get Eric. From the first call to the wedding day it’s always him you’re talking to and working with. No surprises! What really stood out was how his photobooth attendant went above and beyond. She overheard me crying to my best friend before our grand entrance that our coordinator had completely forgotten to set out the empty chair we'd set aside for my dad. He passed before the wedding and no attention was given to that beyond important detail. She left the booth, went and hunted it down, and then personally made sure it was positioned just right and set up with his name and reserved sign by the bar which meant the world to me. It wasn’t even her job but she sprung to action without even thinking and fixed it. When I apologized for crying to her about it she put her hand on my shoulder and told me she completely understood in a way that just made me feel like she actually got how important that was for me. She was amazing. The entertainment itself was stellar and felt exactly like what we'd envisioned for our wedding. We barely had to do any work. Eric did it all. All we told him was the vibe, some favorites, and songs for specific moments. He nailed it all. Eric's professionalism and attention to detail made everything run seamlessly, and honestly, we'd hire him again and again without hesitation. If you're looking for a DJ that truly cares about getting it right, Hovey Entertainment is the way to go. We did uplighting, photobooth, and full day DJ services. 100% worth what we paid. Quotes were higher for Eric than others, but not by much and I promise you’re paying for the professionalism, work ethic, and knowledge it’s going to be perfect with the actual person you hired. He’s worth the few extra hundred. Our venue even reached out to us after and told us how impressed they were with Eric. I hope he made it onto their preferred list. He deserves it! “We cannot say enough great things about Jay from Standing Room Only! He is the best emcee and DJ and we highly recommend him to anyone who wants their guests on the dance floor the entire night! Jay checked in with us throughout the planning process (which for us was almost two years), offering advice and sending us outstanding vendor suggestions. We also had an in-depth planning call a few weeks before the wedding to go over the flow of the day and to decide on our music. Jay took the time to send us shortened versions of the songs and also offered commonly used song suggestions for the Mother-Son Dance and Father-Daughter Dance to help us determine our final song choices. “If I could give John and Trading Post Productions 10 stars, I would. I don't normally go on and on about how great people are, but this group absolutely deserves it. For our wedding, we booked DJ for the ceremony, live music for cocktail hour, and DJ for the reception. First, the live music trio (which we had a guitar, violin, and cello) absolutely nailed it! We chose several songs from their repertoire, but also requested a couple others that were personal to the bride and I, and they not only were accommodating, but they knocked it out of the park during their performance! Second, I could share all the little details about how John was prepared for every moment, but here's the big idea: he is experienced, he will do whatever it takes to get the job done, he is easy to work with, he knows how to read a room, and he is SO talented. So many guests (and even venue staff!) commented on how amazing our DJ was! And there were several times throughout the evening where every single guest was out on the dance floor! Even more than a DJ, John is kind and outgoing, and was so excited to help us celebrate our big day. One little detail I would like to share was during the bride and I's last dance before we departed. John put on the song we requested and then left the room, giving us total privacy in that moment. Though this seems like a little thing, it allowed the bride and I to focus entirely on each other without feeling like anybody was watching us. It is a moment that will no doubt stick with me for the rest of my life. I genuinely don't think a more well-rounded DJ exists. For over 15 years, I’ve been helping people make their weddings, parties, and events unforgettable with amazing music and vibrant lighting. Originally from Alaska, I moved to Colorado in 2026 for more opportunities, however still take bookings back home. I have residency’s at 4 bars/clubs in AK and CO, I’ve worked for 3 different wedding companies, and currently work for Wedgwood which is the largest wedding company in the US. I’ve had my own company since 2023, and have done everything from classy to trashy✨. Personally love to DJ, plan weddings, fly planes and build aircraft. If it has wings I’ve either flown or built it.

“I seriously can’t say enough good things about having Brayden as our DJ! We knew before we were even engaged that we wanted him for our wedding. We had seen him DJ other weddings and events and were always sooo impressed. I’ve been to plenty of weddings, but he was the first DJ that made me think yep, one day this is our guy Brayden was so much more than just our DJ. He helped guide the whole day, kept things flowing, engaged the crowd & made sure we never had to worry about what was happening next. We knew we could completely trust him and that took such a huge weight off our shoulders! I am also VERYYYY picky when it comes to music, aesthetics & vibes, so I definitely had a vision for how I wanted everything to feel. To me, music is so special to me and sets the vibe for the whole day. it’s so important to find someone who understands what you want. Somehow he took our vision and made it even better than I could’ve expected. The music was AMAZING. He didn’t just play songs one after another, everything flowed together so seamlessly. His transitions were so cool and had this subtle EDM feel at times without being overdone or taking away from the songs. He also knew exactly how to read the room. There was something for every age group and somehow it all went together perfectly. Everyone was having an absolute blast, dancing and having the best time. we still have people telling us how much fun they had and how great our DJ was! Brayden is so fun while still being professional, kind and easy to work with. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and has a talent for it that not everyone has. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and he was such a huge part of that. We would choose him again a million times over! I’m looking forward to seeing all that he does in the future!”

“Kevin (or Donnie) DJed my Gen Z heavy wedding and it was absolute perfection. Not only does he have a great knowledge of anything 80s-2000s, he was able to intuit which types of songs and bands to avoid based on my list of favorites (I'm not super into pop or Blink 182 kinds of stuff etc) with little guidance. Everyone had a blast and he even threw in some really fun surprises that made the party even more fun. Highly recommend him!!!”

“For as long as I’ve known Liat I’ve always been captivated by her voice. She has a presence that is magnetic. Anyone who’s ever heard her sing has felt drawn to her performance and longs to be a part of the experience. When Liat played our first dance at our wedding it was hard not to cry. She learned our song while truly making it her own. Even though it was Radiohead and kind of emo it was special to us. She knew what that meant and delivered not only a song, but a moment we will never forget. I would recommend her to be the voice of any event. Her live music is now forever a cherished memory everyone should get to have and to hold.”
