Trading Post Productions

Briana and I (we are husband and wife by the way!) started Trading Post Productions in 2012 when we moved to Denver, CO. What originally started as live music exclusively has now blossomed into full production for weddings and events: live music, DJ/MC services, lighting, video, etc. We've had an incredible time growing, creating, and meeting many, many wonderful folks along the way!

    Best wedding DJ in Colorado

    If you're looking for a professional vendor for a wedding or special event, we could not recommend Trading Post Productions more. We used them for our wedding, and it was the best decision we could have made. John and Briana went above and beyond to make our special day one we'll never forget. We had live music and a DJ and they did an amazing job. They paid high attention to detail and exceeded our expectations. Trading Post Productions is a one stop shop for all your production needs.

    Justin was amazing

    Justin with Trading Post Productions was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! From the very beginning, he was professional, organized, and incredibly easy to work with. His communication was outstanding, and he took the time to understand exactly the atmosphere we wanted for our day. On our wedding day, everything flowed seamlessly. He kept the timeline moving without ever making it feel rushed, made thoughtful announcements, and read the room perfectly throughout the night. The music was absolutely spot on, and our dance floor stayed full because he knew exactly what to play and when to play it. What stood out even more was the reaction from our guests. Throughout the entire evening, people kept coming up to us asking who our DJ was and what company he worked for because they were so impressed. We heard over and over again how amazing he was, and our guests couldn't stop talking about the music, the energy, and how smoothly everything was run. Even other vendors commented on what a fantastic job he did. Justin wasn't just our DJ—he played a huge role in creating the atmosphere for one of the best days of our lives. If you're looking for someone who is professional, personable, organized, and knows exactly how to keep a celebration flowing from beginning to end, I cannot recommend Justin and Trading Post Productions highly enough. Thank you for making our wedding unforgettable!

    BEST DJ EVER!!!

    If I could give John and Trading Post Productions 10 stars, I would. I don't normally go on and on about how great people are, but this group absolutely deserves it. For our wedding, we booked DJ for the ceremony, live music for cocktail hour, and DJ for the reception. First, the live music trio (which we had a guitar, violin, and cello) absolutely nailed it! We chose several songs from their repertoire, but also requested a couple others that were personal to the bride and I, and they not only were accommodating, but they knocked it out of the park during their performance! Second, I could share all the little details about how John was prepared for every moment, but here's the big idea: he is experienced, he will do whatever it takes to get the job done, he is easy to work with, he knows how to read a room, and he is SO talented. So many guests (and even venue staff!) commented on how amazing our DJ was! And there were several times throughout the evening where every single guest was out on the dance floor! Even more than a DJ, John is kind and outgoing, and was so excited to help us celebrate our big day. One little detail I would like to share was during the bride and I's last dance before we departed. John put on the song we requested and then left the room, giving us total privacy in that moment. Though this seems like a little thing, it allowed the bride and I to focus entirely on each other without feeling like anybody was watching us. It is a moment that will no doubt stick with me for the rest of my life. I genuinely don't think a more well-rounded DJ exists. If you're on the fence about whether or not this group is worth it, allow me to be your sign that having John and Trading Post Productions at your wedding is the best choice you could make. Thank you again John!!

    John and Sandy’s Wedding day

    On 6/6/26 Sandy and I joined in marriage at Chateaux at Fox Meadows in Broomfield. The Ceremony was a reflection of our Love an “elegant event” filled with the harmonious splendor of music provided by Trading Post Productions. John and Briana’s professional and personal touch made Our day even more special! We cannot express enough gratitude as we reflect on the beautiful music they provided. Thanks again John and Briana!
