Hovey Entertainment is an upscale, boutique wedding entertainment company led by Eric Hovey, based in Littleton, Colorado. We go beyond DJ services to offer full ceremony production, live DJ and musician fusion performances, photo booths, and immersive lighting design — all shaped into one cohesive experience rather than separate add-ons. What matters most to us is getting to know you: before we ever build a timeline or playlist, we invest real time in understanding who you are as a couple, so your wedding feels unmistakably yours. You'll work directly with Eric from your first conversation through the final song.
What sets us apart is a creative process built around you, not a template. Eric specializes in blending Country, Red Dirt, Top 40, Pop, EDM, 2000's throwbacks, hip hop, and 80s/90s favorites into a sound that feels current and personal. Every detail, from ceremony sound to dance-floor lighting, is shaped through a genuinely collaborative, personal approach, because the best celebrations come from truly knowing the couple behind them. We're also seasoned in remote mountain venues, and we partner closely with your wedding planner as a true collaborator, not just another vendor.

A DJ booth with an integrated 50" screen displays your monogram and live guest photos shared by QR code, paired with uplighting and moving dance floor lights that build with the night.

By far, this is our favorite wedding entertainment enhancement. We have the perfect photo booth that can placed just about anywhere at your venue..however we recommend having it close to all the action so that your guests can maximize their time on the dance floor and take fun photos in our Photo Booth. Our booth takes pics, boomerang, gif which can be shared instantly to any mobile device with options to print as well.

Working with Hovey Entertainment was such a smooth experience from start to finish. Eric himself responded to every question we had quickly and knew exactly what we needed to make our day special. When you hire Eric, you actually get Eric. From the first call to the wedding day it’s always him you’re talking to and working with. No surprises! What really stood out was how his photobooth attendant went above and beyond. She overheard me crying to my best friend before our grand entrance that our coordinator had completely forgotten to set out the empty chair we'd set aside for my dad. He passed before the wedding and no attention was given to that beyond important detail. She left the booth, went and hunted it down, and then personally made sure it was positioned just right and set up with his name and reserved sign by the bar which meant the world to me. It wasn’t even her job but she sprung to action without even thinking and fixed it. When I apologized for crying to her about it she put her hand on my shoulder and told me she completely understood in a way that just made me feel like she actually got how important that was for me. She was amazing. The entertainment itself was stellar and felt exactly like what we'd envisioned for our wedding. We barely had to do any work. Eric did it all. All we told him was the vibe, some favorites, and songs for specific moments. He nailed it all. Eric's professionalism and attention to detail made everything run seamlessly, and honestly, we'd hire him again and again without hesitation. If you're looking for a DJ that truly cares about getting it right, Hovey Entertainment is the way to go. We did uplighting, photobooth, and full day DJ services. 100% worth what we paid. Quotes were higher for Eric than others, but not by much and I promise you’re paying for the professionalism, work ethic, and knowledge it’s going to be perfect with the actual person you hired. He’s worth the few extra hundred. Our venue even reached out to us after and told us how impressed they were with Eric. I hope he made it onto their preferred list. He deserves it! Extra Info: - You can design your own photo booth strip like we did! - No extra cost for his extra help! - LGBT Friendly! - Photobooth comes with the prints and a digital album - Won’t play music on your no play list - Can use your own photobooth backdrop like we did! - Knows when to stop a song and blend into the next - You can design your front of booth photo/slide show - Has multiple set ups so isn’t moving them from spot to spot all night - it’s already set up! - You can use his digital photo album for guests to upload photos instead of buying your own! We’ll be keeping Eric as our DJ for all future events too.

Getting to know you both, hearing what you envisioned for the day, and then watching it all come together was something I was truly grateful to be a part of. But more than anything you said about me or Hovey Entertainment, what you shared about Kayanna means the most. Kayanna was there to help with the photo booth, but what she did for you had absolutely nothing to do with the photo booth. She saw a moment when you needed someone to step in, and she did. No hesitation. No one asked her to. She just knew it mattered to you and went and made sure your dad had the place he deserved. That says so much more about her than anything I could ever write, and I’m incredibly proud to have her as part of my team. I’m going to make sure she reads every word of this because I know it will mean a lot to her. Your wedding was beautiful, but more importantly, you two were beautiful people to work with. I’m so grateful you trusted me with such an important day and allowed me to be a small part of it. And hearing that you’ll be keeping me as your DJ for future events? Eric is the absolute best
Truly - I would work with Eric again and again. He knew exactly what music to play during the reception to get people dancing, he helped us stay on track with logistics, and really really really saved us during our planning meetings by helping to guide us on all the things (we had no idea what we were doing!). In fact, I think we will get divorced just so we can have another wedding and work with Eric again.

Hovey Entertainment - Wedding DJ Ceremony's was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Eric was quick to respond to all of our questions, extremely knowledgeable about their services, and provided high-quality, fun, and professional work. He went above and beyond with the personalization of the music and audio for both our ceremony and reception, and having them handle the DJ, photobooth, and uplighting was seamless and easy. Eric's wife Kassi joined him on our wedding day to help with the photobooth, and we received so many compliments from our guests about how nice it was to have an attendant there. Even when my husband's grandmother was put in hospice the week before our wedding, Eric was patient and communicative, reminding us of important deadlines but understanding the stressful situation we were in. We are so grateful to Hovey Entertainment for helping to make our special day perfect. On our wedding day, I left the light up sticks for the dance floor at home, and realized this at the beginning of the reception. Eric and Kassi overheard my matron of honor mention this to our wedding planner and said they had some at home (over an hour away round trip) and Kassi got them for us and was back before dinner and speeches were over. Truly above and beyond on all fronts. I didn't want to leave the dance floor to take pictures because Eric just kept playing hit after hit!
