We are, however, deeply sorry that aspects of your day caused you stress and did not live up to the high standards we set for ourselves. Just to clarify for future readers and prevent confusion when reading this review and response, Clinton accidentally listed Lesley as the DJ, she was actually their coordinator. We want to provide clarity on the key issues you raised. Regarding the rehearsal, we apologize for the 15 minute delay. Ensuring guest comfort is a cornerstone of our service. While umbrellas were a contingency that was discussed during planning, Lesley had been monitoring the forecast and, wanting to be fully prepared, had personally purchased them for your event beforehand. Seeing the weather turn as she left for the rehearsal, she made the executive decision to retrieve them. It was those umbrellas that ultimately allowed everyone to proceed with the rehearsal comfortably in the rain after the hail storm had passed. Furthermore, to be unequivocally clear for you and anyone reading this, Lesley does not drink alcohol due to a medical condition and we maintain a zero-tolerance policy when it come to drinking on the job. The drinks your guests saw her holding were during moments she stepped in to assist the catering staff. We understand the perception, but her actions were purely in service of ensuring your event ran smoothly and guests were taken care of. You also mentioned feeling stressed by questions on your wedding day. Our commitment is to handle countless small details behind the scenes. However, for critical, event-altering decisions, such as moving your ceremony due to weather, our policy is that the final say must always belong to you. Our communication about the weather delays was intended to give you that authority, and we regret if the delivery added to your stress. While we are disheartened by your review, it stands in stark contrast to the feedback we received from the other event professionals and the thank you text you sent Lesley the following day. Your DJ noted publicly, "Even when weather delays brought rain and hail, Lesley’s steady demeanor and confidence set the tone for the couple and their guests. Thanks to her leadership, the day came together beautifully." Similarly, the venue manager told us they had never seen a coordinator go above and beyond like she had, and handle such complex details and delays so well. A core value at our company is that everyone deserves a voice and to be heard. We thank you for sharing your perspective, and with that in mind, we sincerely regret that our private communication felt defensive and did not reflect this principle.
