I'm Kevin Donaldson and I will be your wedding DJ/MC. With over 10 years of DJ and MC experience I will make sure your big day is one to remember. I have worked for one of the "big box" wedding DJ vendors in the Denver area, quickly becoming one of their top DJs not just in Denver, but nationwide. However, "big box" isn't my thing and it shouldn't be yours either. "Big Box" comes with pushy sales calls, a lack of attention to detail, talking with people not even in Colorado, and not even knowing who your DJ is until minutes before your ceremony.     Exceptional DJ

    From our first conversation, we knew The Colorado Wedding DJ was going to be perfect for our big day. Kevin was incredibly easy to work with and brought such charisma to every interaction leading up to the wedding. On the night of the reception, he kept our dance floor packed from start to finish while also helping us stay on schedule with the timeline. His energy was contagious and Kevin had our guests dancing all night long. The Colorado Wedding DJ delivered a premier service that was worth every penny, and we'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

From start to finish, they communicated clearly about our timeline and even flagged when we needed to adjust things to keep the night running smoothly. Their grand introduction had everyone on their feet and set the perfect tone for the party. The energy they brought was infectious—they read the crowd and kept the dance floor packed all night long. We'd book them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them to any couple looking for a DJ who actually cares about making their day special.

Yes! Granted I won’t play every request because let’s face it, not everyone has the same taste as you. And I don’t want to kill a dance floor when someone requests Taylor Swift and you HATE Taylor Swift. I’ll read the room and make sure requests fit the vibe. That is assuming you’re ok with requests.
Absolutely
I ask that you allow me access 2 hours prior to your ceremony for me to set up. It’ll probably take me 15-30 minutes but I like plenty of time to allow for unforeseen circumstances such as a blown fuse, venue issue, etc to get sorted out. These are rare and you probably won’t even notice because of the extra time I allow for set up.
$0. $1500 includes everything. Even travel up to 100 miles from Denver. This includes popular spots like Estes Park, Winter Park, Boulder, Summit County and Colorado Springs.
I include it all! Ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all for $1500! Affordable shouldn’t come with compromises.
I dress for the wedding. Now if you prefer certain attire to match a specific theme or prefer no ties, I can accommodate that!
I provide exceptional MC services with a voice fit for the radio. That’s because I was a radio DJ for over a decade. I also keep a lively dance floor by mixing music and curating the music choice to fit the vibe. I’m not a one trick pony where you get a lackluster MC or a crappy dance floor. In addition I go above and beyond by working with the other vendors to ensure the timeline runs smoothly and appropriate adjustments are made. You might not even notice small bumps in the roads because I’ll be working as a team with your other vendors to make sure any small fires are put out before they become a problem.
