Gio Shredding Guitar On The Dance Floor!

I hired Gio to play for our private event in San Diego. We were referred to him by some close friends because he DJ'sd their wedding and everyone absolutely loved him. Gio is an exceptional multi instrumentalist who plays guitar, piano, and sings and lights the room up with his energy, especially during those guitar solos! He had the dance floor vibing all evening. A really fun guy and I appreciated his professionalism and being easy to work with

    Groom .. ?

Gio Barabadzé Luxury Entertainment was the perfect choice for our wedding entertainment. Their communication style was spot on - they were eager to understand our vision and always on the ball with responsive emails and phone calls. The quality of their work and value was exceptional. Gio's live music with his partner was absolutely beautiful, and they brought such a personal, passionate touch to the music throughout our special day. We had some musicians in the group who stated they would have preferred smoother transitions between DJ songs, but overall Gio was a sweet man and an absolute delight to work with, with an obvious passion for his craft and a beautiful presence at our wedding.

    Absolutely wonderful!

Gio performed at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. He was punctual and we really appreciated the touch his live music gave to our day. He even kept playing when it began to rain during our outdoor cocktail hour - talk about commitment! Super talented!

    Genius Level Musician

Gio was an exceptional choice. From the very beginning, his communication was excellent. He is top notch and very talented (we later learned he plays 12 instruments). Gio kept us entertained the whole time and we couldn't have asked for a better person to work with.

    Great musician and communication

Gio is a wonderful musician, but what I really appreciated was his communication and flexibility throughout the process. He was able to weave one of our friends into the performance, and it added so much to our wedding day. Highly recommend Gio for personalized, authentic, beautiful live music.

Thank you for the kind words Creighton, I really enjoyed being a part of your beautiful reception at the Botanic Gardens!

My go-to wedding outfit is a navy blue suit, with an elegant tie. For some weddings, a tuxedo with bowtie is more appropriate (I have them in black or white), for others I'll wear dress pants, dress shirt, and a waistcoat (formal vest), with dress shoes. I do have suit jackets, pants, and vests in every color. If you have any special requests for a dress code, please let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate!
Yes! I can learn most music if given at least 1 week notice. More advanced classical or flamenco pieces might take me 2 or 3 weeks.
Absolutely! I have a document containing a full list of 300+ songs in my catalog and I'm always happy to learn new ones. As a DJ, I can take song requests on the fly, even on the dancefloor.
Since one of the genres I play is in the Latin category, I often get requests for Spanish vocals. While I myself do not speak Spanish, I work with many talented singers who do and am always happy to bring them to be a part of my events! These are excellent professionals that make a wonderful addition to any occasion. I also play the Arabic Oud, French, Italian, German, Tango, and Russian Accordion, Mandolin, and Flute. If your wedding calls for a specialty instrument or style, let me know, I can probably accommodate your request!
This really depends on the scope of the job. If I'm just being hired to play for ceremony or cocktail hour as a solo performer, I find that being onsite an hour or two before guest arrival is more than enough time to get everything setup. However, if I'm covering the entire wedding, I find that arriving 4 or even 5 hours before guest arrival with my assistant is more appropriate.
I play many styles but I'm definitely not a casual generalist, having studied music at different schools and mentored with some incredible artists. My styles include classical and jazz on piano, classical and flamenco on guitar, and pop/rock/country/R&B on both instruments, with or without vocals. I love blues and funk, and my own original music is folk. As a DJ, my sets often consist of the biggest dance hits of the last 50 years, EDM music in different categories, hip-hop, and just about anything that the couple requests.
