Hi new friend, I’m Elora! Photography is so much more than snapping pretty photos to me. It is about the adventure we share and the memories we create along the way. One day we might be hiking up a mountain for those epic views and another we might be chasing the laughter and little in-between moments that make your story yours. I want you to look back years from now and feel every bit of it all over again.

Awarded Best of Zola
Words cannot express how amazing Elora is!! My husband and I renewed our vows for our ten year anniversary in Crested Butte and we are so obsessed with how all of our photos turned out! She planned everything from location to timing to weather and was honestly a dream photographer to work with. I work in the bridal industry and work with a lot of photographers and Elora, hands down, is one of the best. If you are looking for editorial, picturesque, and romantic adventure elopement or wedding photos in Colorado and beyond, absolutely go with her. You won't be disappointed. 3

Nationally recognized rock & roll photographer makes you the rock star on your wedding day! Combining the latest in film like color and modern art photography, with the classic simplicity of black and white photo-journalism. Lisa leaves no detail uncovered.

Awarded Best of Zola
We hired Lisa for our wedding in Lyons, CO and she was absolutely incredible! She was so easy to work with and brings an easy going and low stress approach to wedding photography which I felt calming and reassuring since wedding planning in general can have its fair share of stress. She is so talented behind the lens and looks for creative shots and suggestions to get a beautiful photo. She helped us feel comfortable posing and offered ideas and direction along the way when we needed it. She’s also extremely efficient, we did not want a photographer who would take us away from enjoying the wedding for long periods of time to get a million photos and that is not her preference either. She’s quick, she grabbed us for 5-10 minutes a couple times throughout the evening to get the best light and we were done and we still ended up with a ton of beautiful shots! Thank you Lisa! We will definitely work with you again in the future for a doggy shoot!

I believe that wedding photography should be about you. This is your love, your story and your adventure. Here's what I believe you deserve: A. A photographer who listens to your whole story, and gets as invested in it as you want (but not like in a weird way) B. For you to be able leave stress at the door. I've spent years photographing weddings and honing my craft, I've got you covered no matter what. Also, I bring snacks. C. Amazingly personal photographs where you don't feel like a stranger in your own wedding album. I want to give you a fun experience, and allow you to be fully present in the moment.

The top 3 parts of our wedding weekend: 1) getting married 2) seeing our friends and family 3) Alex We had multiple family members and friends ask us if Alex was just one of our friends because he not only got all of the incredible photos he did and knew when to blend in, he also was friendly and kind to all of our bridal party, family, and guests, and excited to give us the best day possible. We had been recommended Alex by our engagement photographer and had never met him in person until wedding day but he fit right into the fold and knew exactly who we were and what we wanted. We had almost zero suggestions for photos, we already knew we trusted Alex from having spoken a few times prior to the wedding and seen his other photos and just let him tell us (of course enthusiastically because this is how Alex operates) where to go and how to get the best photos. Unlike other photographers, he also stayed with us as long as we needed instead of giving us a specific hour time limit which was incredibly helpful given you never know how your wedding day will go. He’s not only fantastic at his job, but also an incredibly kind and thoughtful person. My husband broke his collarbone in the weeks leading up to our wedding and once Alex heard he sent us a gift card for food delivery because he knew how difficult those weeks were. We are so happy that we chose him to be our wedding photographer and you will have zero regrets if you do the same. Alex is the best!

Hi, I’m Rachel! a professional wedding photographer based in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. Born and raised here, I grew up surrounded by the wild beauty of the mountains, and open skies. Nature and animals were my first inspirations, and they continue to shape the way I see the world through my lens today. I’m an alumna of the nation's top art school, The Savannah College of Art and Design, where I earned my degree in Commercial Photography.

We truly could not have asked for a better wedding photographer. From our very first conversation, she completely understood the vision and vibe we were going for. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, captured every emotion naturally, and somehow managed to document all the little moments we didn’t even realize were happening. The entire experience was effortless. She was kind, fun to be around, incredibly professional, and made everyone feel at ease throughout the day. When we received our gallery, we were absolutely blown away. Every photo tells the story of our wedding perfectly, from the intimate details to the big moments. Looking through them takes us right back to that day. If you’re looking for someone who is not only incredibly talented but also genuinely cares about making your wedding feel authentic to you, we can’t recommend her enough. These are photos we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives. Thank you for capturing our day so beautifully!

We do Photo+Video Teams primarily - see more team samples on our "Videographers" page on Zola! I love "storytelling" in shooting and creative editing - creating not just a photo/video record, but adding sparkle, brightness and engaging polish to edits, design elements, fx and dialog/music mixing to build a more grand and exciting "mood" and story. It's great being part of "The Best Day Ever!" for most couples, along with learning and exploring new events, supporting my client's excitement and creativity and energy ;)

Jeff and Jon did an incredible job with our wedding video! We had a destination wedding in Santa Fe and they did such a great job at capturing the day on video in a way that makes us feel like we're there again. Jon was there with us for the event and was pleasant to be around and very professional. He worked with our photographer on documenting our day. They had a very quick turnaround time of 2 weeks for editing and completing our videos. The music was based on our personalized selection. We had a very small ceremony so wanted to be able to share with those who couldn't make it and they did the best job we could imagine. The showcased the venues and details of the day as well as the bride and groom. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a wedding videographer!!!

Hi, I'm Shelby. I'm a Colorado wedding and elopement photographer and I specialize in couples, elopements, and intimate weddings. I focus on capturing intimate, romantic, and authentic moments in epic locations. I primarily serve couples on the Front Range of Colorado.

We couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our elopement in Rocky Mountain National Park. Since it was just the two of us, we really wanted someone who would make the day feel special but authentic, and Shelby was perfect. Shelby was incredibly dedicated throughout the whole process, constantly going above and beyond to scout the best angles and lighting. She was also amazing at fluffing my dress, which ended up being a lot more of a commitment than I expected but it made the dress look amazing. The photos turned out even better than we could have expected. I would thoroughly recommend Shelby to anyone.

Nick Benson Photography, LLC

“There is one thing the photography must contain, the humanity of the moment. This kind of photography is realism. But realism is not enough – there has to be vision, and the two together can make a good photograph.” – Robert Frank

Awarded Best of Zola
I am so happy we hired them to capture the most magical day of our lives. Nick and his team were beyond comparable to anyone else. They captured everything we wanted, without being overbearing. They kept their distance when needed, they took control when needed, they had a great schedule set yet it didn't feel rigid. It was so fun and comfortable hanging with them all day. I cannot say enough good things about them. They also had a cool, new and modern photo booth that we added that everyone loved. Nick went above and beyond throughout this entire process and the amount of work and effort he puts in to this is worth every penny. Do not look anywhere else, you found your photographer in Nick.

Abby Shepard Photography
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Boulder, CO
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $3,900

I'm a wedding and elopement photographer based in Boulder, Colorado. I specialize in capturing real moments with bright, bold, natural images. My goal is to help make your wedding day the best it can be and ensure that you have a meaningful, memorable, FUN wedding day to start a lifelong adventure. Being a wedding photographer is the best job ever, but when I'm not working, you can usually find me outside doing something like hiking, kayaking, camping, traveling, or taking landscape photos.

Abby was absolutely phenomenal and we have only great things to say about her. We love her bright and sunny editing style, and on top of that she is friendly and professional- all highlights of working with her. She communicated well and she's clearly very committed to helping make your wedding day go smoothly- she even shares a worksheet that has several sample wedding day timelines, and a guide to planning the day of the wedding (these were lifesavers). There is enough to worry about with the entire process of planning a wedding and it was so nice to not have to worry at all about anything photography related because Abby was so on top of things. On wedding day itself, Abby seamlessly joined the party and as a result, got so many great shots of our ceremony, and candids of our family and friends that really capture the joy and love that we felt on our wedding day. I keep getting SO many compliments on how beautiful our wedding pictures came out, and how you can truly feel the fun through those pictures. We cannot emphasize enough how much we love Abby!! We whole heartedly recommend her.

June Moon Photography
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Boulder, CO
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000

I'm a photographer with more than 20 years of professional experience photographing the nuptials of couples all over Colorado. I used to shoot all types of weddings, big and small, but have lately been focusing on elopements and micro weddings as I love the intimacy that these sorts of events engender. I am available for a limited number of micro weddings and elopements each year.

From the moment we met Julie of June Moon Photography, we knew we were in good hands. Her relaxed and fun-loving personality immediately put us at ease, and we felt confident she would capture the essence of our special day. True to our instincts, the photos she delivered were absolutely stunning - beautifully emotive, candid, and timeless. Julie was a joy to work with, expertly directing the group to ensure we got all the shots we wanted before the gorgeous sunset faded. The finished product was nothing short of spectacular, and we are overjoyed to have such cherished memories to look back on. We highly recommend June Moon Photography to any couple looking for an exceptional photography experience.

I'm a Boulder wedding photographer with a passion for documenting your day as it happened and highlighting the people and relationships you value most. I'd love to spend time exploring and capturing the moments that tell the story of you.

We happened to know Jonathan already because of his work as an aerospace engineering student (yes, the guy is a genius). Turns out, he's also a genius with photography! I can't get enough of looking at our wedding photos, they are spectacular. His editorial eye is superb, you'd think he'd been doing this for decades. He's also a genuinely great person and fun to hang out with while you're getting ready and taking all of those pre-ceremony photos where it's just the 3 of your for a few hours. He kept things light and even helped out setting up the chairs for the ceremony when we first arrived at the venue because the chair rental company lapsed in doing that (a story for another review). We cannot recommend Jonathan highly enough! And no, it's not weird to ask him to take pictures of your wedding food (because we did). You'll be surprised how much you enjoy seeing the spread when you revisit the day.

Megan's journey began in a college darkroom, where she discovered photography as a tool for connection and meaning. A RISD graduate with over a decade of experience in editorial, commercial, and wedding photography, she's worked globally with mission-driven brands. Her entrance into weddings was serendipitous—stepping in for a friend's canceled photographer revealed a natural skill for helping people feel seen. Now weddings are where her skills converge: editorial eye, documentary approach, and quiet attunement to emotional undercurrents. To Megan, it's not just how a day looks; it's how it feels.

Her ability to make us feel completely at ease resulted in the most natural, stunning photos we could have ever imagined. She truly captured the playful energy of our day, exactly what we had hoped for. Every photo feels so alive, full of joy, and perfectly us.
