Shelby was so much more than someone who showed up and took beautiful pictures. She was kind, personable, professional, prepared, flexible, incredibly thoughtful and felt more like a friend than someone I just met. She traveled to a challenging location without hesitation, helped wherever she could, kept us calm, made us laugh, and captured our day in a way that feels completely authentic to us. The photos are stunning, but what makes them even more special is knowing the person behind the camera cared so much about our experience.

We couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our elopement in Rocky Mountain National Park. Since it was just the two of us, we really wanted someone who would make the day feel special but authentic, and Shelby was perfect. Shelby was incredibly dedicated throughout the whole process, constantly going above and beyond to scout the best angles and lighting. She was also amazing at fluffing my dress, which ended up being a lot more of a commitment than I expected but it made the dress look amazing. The photos turned out even better than we could have expected. I would thoroughly recommend Shelby to anyone.

I am so glad that I found Shelby to photograph my wedding! She is such a sweet and kind person, and the photos (just the sneak peaks so far) are amazing. She was so easygoing and loved to help us play and find movement in our photographs! I love that her photos are true to color and aren't over edited. Looking back, the photos are exactly how I remember the day, which is all I could have wanted. I cannot recommend her enough!

The drive includes mountain roads and areas with significant exposure, and a high-clearance vehicle is strongly recommended. She had absolutely no issues with the location and even offered to help drive some of our guests to the ceremony spot. She went above and beyond before she even picked up her camera! On our wedding day, she was prepared, professional, and immediately became such a calming presence in what can otherwise be a pretty chaotic day. I knew I wanted a first look with my Ma and photos of her helping me put on my jewelry. When we realized the clasps were ridiculously tiny and my Ma was struggling to get them fastened, she didn't hesitate to jump in and help finish putting my jewelry on. 🥹 And while she was helping us through those little moments, she was also capturing the most incredible photographs. Those are the kinds of moments I will treasure forever—not just because of the photos, but because she was genuinely there to help make the day easier. For the ceremony and all of our photos afterward, she made us feel so comfortable and natural. And that is saying A LOT because my husband absolutely hates getting his picture taken. 😂 Somehow, she made the entire experience feel effortless. We never felt like we were awkwardly posing or constantly thinking about the camera. She captured us as we actually are, and our photos are absolutely incredible because of it. In fact, at the end of the day, my husband—who would normally be more than happy to avoid having professional photos taken—actually said: “If we lived in the same state, we would hire her for more events!”😂❤️ I truly don't think we could give a better compliment than that.
